  1. Check your inbox again John...there has been an exciting update. 😉
  2. Hey JMN.....we had some last second changes to the model and textures that pushed back a few liveries. I'm working feverishly to get them finished and to you guys. Hang in there, hope to have both to you guys before Christmas! Welcome to the Avsim forums by the way....cool you 1st post is a reply to one of my posts. 🙂
  3. Maybe with TWO gifts 🙂
  4. I wholeheartedly agree! 🙂
  5. Painting is fun and rewarding....but it is a lot of work! I've not painted as many Max's as I did for the NG (33), LOL....but I'll slowly add more as I get some time. Maxime and Ric have really done the lion's share in this project...they are great to work with!
  6. Check your Avsim inbox John. 😉
  7. Hehe.....Getting to fly new aircraft before anyone else is definitely fun and exciting....but I have to tell you that testing, when taken seriously...is real work. You get really familiar with the uninstall/install process as multiple updates come down the production line...and towards the end of a long testing cycle, you can sometimes get 3-4 new versions a day as the Dev team works feverishly to get her ready. I enjoy the work as I know I'm helping the community get a quality plane, but with also being a painter....I'm always busy! (well...keeps this old 60+ year old mind active I guess 🤔)
  8. Check your inbox here at Avsim Joel. 😉 EDIT: You too Dan @dpergau
  9. Fantastic shots! Hehe...when I saw the title....I thought you meant NOR Max, as in the recent iFly 737 Max just released for P3D v5...and I happened to paint Norwegian on that one....the Unicef livery. I always wanted to paint this as I feel the organization is a great cause. 🙂 Hoping we see a Max in MSFS soon....from either (or both) Devs (I'm on the beta team for both, and can attest that they are excellent Devs, each in their own way)
  10. It has been cleared indeed. 😉 Here I am launching off a Florida east coast airport to go burn circles over the Atlantic to test a few things.... @Wise87 LOL...Emi said in the beta forum that he was preparing a video....true to his word! I enjoy working with him. 🙂
  11. If you could find me some good closeup pics of the stickers near the front door (I obviously have the SkyTeam one), so I can add those it would be great. Sometimes the thing that takes the longest to finish a paint project is finding the right closeups to get the detail you need! 🙂
  12. LOL...the white tail you show is wearing Norwegian winglets (with the inner sides blanked white with the gray AeroMexico logo.) I imagine she was leased/bought from NRO? I painted Norwegian so I already have the winglets.....hmmmm. 🙂
  13. I'd like to say we'd do them all, hehe. I have not planned AeroMexico, but will consider it when I have a few more liveries out. If I painter her, did you have a specific registration in mind?
  14. It's available now. I don't have a link in my sig yet to link to the Max liveries...will get that done soon. Right now you can get them all here: http://library.flight1.net/?cat=72 Ric did a lot of paints as well as Maxime and myself. All the ones I planned before release are not 100% ready, but I'll work to get them out as fast as I can. Air Canada should be next. It was a LOT of work! And we hope a few more painters will jump in, the paintkit is very nice and not hard to use. Hat's off to Maxime as he did a LOT of extra work tweaking the final livery tidbits that make the paints look great!
  15. This was my go to sim back in that era. The technology and innovation has come so far in this hobby....now, for under $100 (for the sim and plane), I do can do an approach at Dallas Love field...and clearly see the hospital I worked at going under my nose, and the high-rise building I worked at in the city to the left. All while having a cockpit as detailed as the excellent HJet in front of me. I have the ILS chart, checklist and navmap all at a glance, with her stuck perfectly to the LOC/GS by the AP in the approach, while all I do is manage flaps, gear and speed while I sight-see along the way. 🙂 I am extremely happy with the sim and while I know there are still issues with some things....you could not have convinced me back when I was flying SubLogic's ATP back then, that I'd be able to see what we see in the screenshot above. Just amazing!
  16. Can't say one way or the other. 😉 But that is a good guess. 🙂 More sneak peaks will be available soon.
  17. Nor is on the release list (below is a WIP screen)....I saw your Copa suggestion but have another South American livery planned. Turkish is another consideration.
  18. You know I've already done SWA...and since I live in Dallas, 11 miles from KDFW, you can pretty much bet I'll do this airline as well (Since I fly them all the time) Will he paint Delta? Hmm....do they have any in service yet?
  19. And if we give you AC and WestJet, it may help solidify that decision, eh Joel? 🙂 FYI....I not planning Flair, but Swoop got my attention when I was browsing MAX Canadian reg's (not saying I'll paint her...but if I find some time, who knows?). I bet in my 20 painting career, I've looked at millions of aircraft pics, LOL.
  20. Yeah I love this angle and time of day....Just wish we could get clouds like that in P3d. 🙂
  21. Would be great to see some from you John! We won't get to all of them before release, so there will be plenty of work to do after she's in the general public's hands. 😉
  22. Meanwhile...as Steve gets his paintkit tweaked and ready for the production line....here are some pics for the TUI fan's enjoyment. (They serve 2 purposes...evaluate the TUI paint and that the paintkit it putting all the bits' n pieces where they should go on the texture maps...the sky enhancements from Photoshop just make the boring sky from P3D come alive. If only we had environmental features like that) Next previews will be of the next livery I have lined up.
  23. Yeah....D-AMAX just seems fitting for the release 🙂 The paintkit is being worked on....It follows the same structure as all the previous iFly paintkits. They are different from the PMDG 747, but if you are comfortable with layers (and all the semi-advanced features of them such as grouping, pass-through, etc) you should not have too many problems. If you grab the NG kit and review it, that would be similar to the Max kit.
  24. I was actually thinking for the German reg, I'd do D-AMAX, since the plane is literally "A MAX". 🙂 What is the back story to why you'd like D-AMAA? Not sure what color tail Maxime is planning for IcelandAir. Not sure about Flyr but I was not planning it initially. Hoping other painters will pick he up after she's released and grab some fictionals.
  25. I've got WestJet and AC planned....gotta spread the liveries around the world (by iFly's request)...maybe someone will pick it up. 🙂
