  1. Very good idea. That's the reaction I get if I deployed the spoilers.
  2. Thought of that and (remembered to check for cigarette butt)
  3. Just wondering when it will be open again for downloads. The last day I have is March 15th.Also, over at Poskey, the 747 v3 is "Coming Soon", not released.Mike
  4. Hi all,I've been experiencing something odd lately and am looking for some help.At first achieving cruise altitude(this could be anywhere from 150 up to 330, 340 feet, etc.) with autopilot on, speed somewhere around 270, 280 kts and just leveling out, the aircraft starts losing air speed until stall and then crash. Intentionally pushing the nose over does nothing. Neither does turning the auto pilot off and manualy flying. This happens with, but not limited to, Posky and MelJet. Both outstanding pieces of work, so don't get me wrong. This has happened with '67's, '57's, '77's, and '47's.Any help is appreciated.Mike
  5. Looking for this utility. Can anyone help? Thanks,
  6. Hey Airbus,The site is http://ss-md80.artshost.com in case you didn't know and as Bob said the manual will be available soon. While I got you on the hook, did you install for 2002 or 2004? I use FS2004 exclusively and don't have a FS2002 folder. I've never heard of installing a gaugesound.dll file in WindowsSystem32 folder. Anyway, the panel crashes back to desktop everytime. I even put the file in the main FS2004 folder and it still crashes. Can you help me out on this as the author has not yet answered my e-mail?Thanks,
  7. They'll just remove the file from the library the way they didb737fs9s_123814.zip
  8. Hello Ken,As of 12/6/03 the file in question does not appear in the library anymore. What happened?
  9. Hello Ken,There is a file available for download in your (our) library entitled b737fs9s_123814.zip by Bruce Benaway that won't download. I get the message "This page cannot be displayed". Could you shed some light on this, please.Thank you,Mike
  10. Hi Tom,Would you tell me why I can't download a file in your library? The name is b737fs9s_123814.zip by Bruce Benaway. I get the message "Can't display this page" when trying. Thanks,Mike
  11. Enno, If you have a way to send it to me it would be appreciated. My e-mail address is maverickr54@yahoo.com. I don't know the size of the file but we could give it a shot. Thanks,Mike
  12. Thank you, Enno,See my post on this forum for the same file. A lot of lookers but no answerers.
  13. Hello all, I'm looking for a panel/author of what I remember to be for a 757/767 aircraft that included a galley view, a lavatory view with flushing toilet, tray tables that when lowered showed food, etc., etc., etc.Any help in appreciated. Thanks,Mike
  14. Gentlemen,Hopefully this is an easy question. There is a file in your library...b737FS9S_123814.zip, Boeing 737 panel with crew annoucements by Bruce Benaway. When I try to download this file I keep getting a message "The page cannot be displayed". Would this be at your end or mine? Also, I can't find a file that was in your library only a few months ago titled kmentt76.zip by Luis Kmentt, Jr.Has it been removed? Thanks in advance for your help.Mike-
  15. I just posted a thread over at Emma Field Flying Club about this same problem except mine has gone a step further...now FS9 won't load at all. It gets up to approx. 78% then goes back to desk-top. I have no new railroad files, I have the latest edition of DirectX with upgraded driver, I just put my audio to Basic (which didn't help), video card is cool (temp wise) and either I get a quick fix, un-install/re-install FS9, or look for another hobby that doesn't use a computer. Being grounded SUCKS. It's exactly the reason I got out of the Navy early.I'm not blaming MSFS COF because I can't prove nothing else is wrong, however, 2K4 is the ONLY program I'm having problems with. One question...sometimes I go overboard on downloading and installing 3rd party material, especially during a time like now with all the new AFCAD files out. (You guys out there are just too good!) Since I don't keep a list of all downloads, is there anything built into FS9 that would show the latest installations, i.e., scenery, aircraft, panels, sound, etc. Maybe I better keep a list from now on in order to backtrack.Anyway, Good luck to all of us on this.Mike
  16. I bet if this had something to do with a video card or flight dynamics, I'd have a hundred responses.
  17. Hi all,I've been brain dead for a couple weeks but it seems to me that in FS9 we always had vapor trails for the default jets. Now, I notice I don't have them anymore except for the default 737-400. I have made some aircraft.cfg changes recently, but I just added Poskey's A330-200 no vc and there are no trails with it.Would someone tell me in which file I would look, a/c.cfg, panel.cfg, etc. where I could see if I've deleted some files. Maybe in effects? Thanks,Mike
  18. Hi all,Back in August, Adam Rogers re-config'd a panel.cfg for a panel made by Jorge Salas for the 777-300 default and MelJet 777 so that it would work in FS9.Has anyone seen an update for the 747-400 (2K2) panel by Jorge Salas that would be compatible with FS9? I enjoyed them both when using 2k2.Thanks,
  19. I can't give you much input as I am not very savvy on the card set-up but your post prompted me to ask if you are configuring the physical card or are you checking boxes in the settings window? You mention antistropic filtering. Where do you set this up? I have a 64MB, DDR, Nvidia geForce Plus AGP, run Windows ME on a P3 800. I had the jaggies the other day and someone told me to check AA in the settings window and it got rid of most of them. Good luck.
  20. I recently purchased and installed MegaScenery USA2004 LA/San Diego. I did so knowing my machine was/is not capable of handling such a program. But, since I've had MSFS from day one, I just had to have this scenery. As fast as I installed it, I un-installed it. I set all the settings as recommended. After un-installing, I put the settings back to where I thought I had them before. It took awhile to get the ground textures back the way I had them (even though they're still not what I remembered) but I'm having one heck of a time to get my aircraft (default and add-on) to look as good as they were. If you look at an external side view (profile) of any aircraft all the horizontal lines look like a fine-toothed hack saw blade. Same with a rear view looking at the horizontal stabilizer.I'm not blaming the makers of MegaScenery, but I was wondering if after un-install, something was left on my computer. I'm not sure what mip mapping, anti-aliasing, etc., etc. mean so I was wondering if someone who thinks they have all the sliders in the right position could lend me their set-up. I know higher end machines work differently than mine, but even though I have a somewhat slower machine, I had a pretty good set-up at one time. Thanks in advance to any responders.Mike
  21. I hate to say it this way, but, bottom line, Bill Gates is the richest man in the world thanks to ALL of us out here and HE DOES NOT CARE. PERIOD.2K4 is the LAST Microsoft product I will buy and I will go back to 2K2 when I get the interest again.
