Hello, need some help.
My questions:1) "License"="<xxxxxxx>"
Do we need to enter here the License of Prepar3D v5 or Prepar3D v6?2) Is the syntax of the following files correct?
Because I wonder if I need to include the "" and or the < >.
E.g.
"SetupPath"="<G:\Prepar3D v6>"
or
"SetupPath"=<G:\Prepar3D v6>
or
"SetupPath"="G:\Prepar3D v6"Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Lockheed Martin]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5]
"License"="<xxxxxxx>"
"SetupPath"="<G:\Prepar3D v6>"Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Lockheed Martin]
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5]
"Installed"=dword:00000001
"AppPath"="<G:\Prepar3D v6>"Thanks in advance for support,
Frank

13 hours ago, mSparks said:Zibo, LevelUp, Spark744 freeware have all that and are already out. That's not advanced and comprehensive, its a basic requirement for any XP11 aircraft worth its salt.
Everybody who cares about ground services already has GHD on every aircraft they own.
After consulting the specs of those aircraft and viewing the video streams of the Challenger, now i'm assured to buy the Hotstart Challenger 650.
So thanks, to assure me 🙂

Hello,
In Pilot2ATC configuration "Speech", I enabled the Copliot options "Respons to Radio" and "Changes Frequencies".
Problem: when changing frequency in Pilot2ATC, the frequencies are not changed in Maddog X.
I need to change them manually in the maddog X radio panel, to allow radio communication.
Any ideas how to solve this?

Frank

3 hours ago, suncoastflyer said:I should say it's pretty clear to see that ray-tracing of some form is implemented into the sim. Particularly in the image of the TBM looking directly at the prop. The reflection off the metallic spinner just gives it away I believe. Of course I could be wrong but I've never seen reflections like this until ray-tracing came round, visuals from battlefield V I'm referring to.
The way it clearly reflects each blade is just superb. It needs a special mention as well that it is reflecting the light that is reflecting off the exhaust. That's a double reflection. That's the kind of stuff only ray-tracing can pull off effectively.
Question is: is this an image from within the simulation (session) itself, or an image from one of the selection menus (eg. intro image, aircraft selection, …?
Till now, the "ray-traced" MSFS images seem from selection menus.
Any thoughts?

Thanks for reply.
Indeed, using MENU -> "activate leg" to resume NAV after "Clear traffic" works fine.

XP11, Hotstart-TBM900 (Garmin G1000), Pilot2ATC, World Traffic 3.
Presume enroute in GPS NAV mode on an airway from waypoint A to waypoint B, next waypoint C.
Between waypoint A and B, ATC instructs me a lateral deviation to avoid upcoming traffic.
I select HDG mode instead of NAV, and adjust the HDG knob to execute the lateral deviation.
Only after passing abeam waypoint B, ATC instructs me "Clear of traffic".
My question:
How to proceed to resume NAV: which is the most suitable IFR procedure?
- Do I need a Direct-TO towards waypoint C, and just before reaching waypoint C, select NAV to resume?
- Do I need to delete waypoint B, and previous waypoints?
- Do I need to steer in HDG mode on an intercept heading towards leg B-C, and just before interception select NAV?Thanks for clarifying.

Fly! Legacy - City editor: automatic object creation.
The Fly! Legacy integrated "City-editor" allows 3D object scenery creation based on real world data from "Openstreet.map".
Depending on the computer power, 8 till 15 objects per second are generated according real-world dimensions and located at the right spot in the Fly!Legacy scenery.
The proces contains 3 steps.
- Collecting data from the http://www.openstreetmap/org
- Converting the format towards a Fly!Legacy compatible format.
- Creating the 3D objects using the Fly!Legacy integrated "City-editor"

Hi Ken,Regarding item 3) the brakes.The brakes could remain on after pressing "Shift + B". Pressing "Shift and B" again releases them.Cheers,FrankHi Laurent, Didier, et. al. Where would you like us to begin posting bug reports for Legacy? Here or over at the SimVol forum? Right now, four things are standing out right off. 1. If I goof the keys & Buttons settings, and click on the default keys or buttons, the entire section clears, not resetting to default assignments.2. Pause does not appear to work for me - especially in the air.3. Flyhawk - brakes - near immediate stop once on runway.4. Podded scenery from Fly! II - displays fine - but elevations from the podfile do not appear to take precedence over default elevation file, and thus plane is crashing once I release slew mode, and must restart the sim to clear it. Laurent: Is there information on how to place the Legacy aircraft from your website into the sim ? I made assumption that the podded Seneca V and TB10 would function fine as podded, but moment I select aircraft from vehicle menu, the sim CTD's on me. Does one require the original dll files from the Fly!II versions to be placed in modules\pc folder? Aside from my Thrustmaster joystick not being recognised as other than a microsoft pc joystick, the sim is looking quite good on my Win7 64bit system.Many Cheers!Ken -
Hello,The development team could reproduce the problem, identified the errors, and has a patch for it. I've tested the patch and it solves the engine cut-off, also the Cessna reacts again much better on the Yoke and rudder controls.Patch will soon (don't know the exact time) be ready for download.Best Regards,Frank DI downloaded and installed the file however the throttle keeps cutting off and re-starting. Help lease.I am using Ch yoke and pedal.Thanks -
Hello,I use CH yoke and pedal, and it works well on FlyLegacy with windows 7One of the possible solutions might be: - I suppose the axes are assigned via the menu options -> setup axis menu.- In the menu options -> test controls: move the slider "neutral slightly to activate the axises.- The mixture is reversed: I need to pull back the mixture on the CH yoke to have it open in the simulator.Hope this helps,Frank DI downloaded and installed the file however the throttle keeps cutting off and re-starting. Help lease.I am using Ch yoke and pedal.Thanks -
I presume that Fly!2 version 2.50.240 is required (=latest patch of the Fly2 series).Best Regards,FrankHi Balloon,I checked to see if the FLY2 file(s) in the Legacy folders are there, and they are indeed in there. It may be helpful for someone to post the folder structure with all the required files. The question I have is this: is Legacy expecting the latest FLy2 update files? If so, then I need to install these....tc -
So many thanks Tom, for this post. The dedication and enthousiasm of Richard will forever stay in our minds.The future Fly version "Fly! Hi Fonchy,Since I switched from win 2000 to win xp, I had the same problem.Adobe photoshop cannot load TGA files of large size (> 1 GB).It can save the large files as TGA.Adobe photoshop accepts TIF files larger than 1 GB.Then You can save them as TGA.If You could convert the large TGA file into TIF, then adobe photoshop can load them.I have no idea if convertor from TGA to TIF exist.All the best with the nice Madrid scenery.Best Regards,Frank
