  7. Hello Rene,Thanks for sharing the report of the annual ROTW meeting. The superb 3D cockpit panel is already installed as windows desktop background.I remember 2005 being an interesting Fly year: ATR (+ instructor panel), DC3 with real icing simulation, squawkbox and POTW, numerous airports and sceneries 2D and 3D, and many more. And 2006 is looking even more promising, especially the ROTW participation at the Fly! Legacy development which will assure a nice future for Fly.Best Regards,Frank

  13. Thanks for informing Azurro,The detailed flightmodel and the sound of the 2 x 1200 hp engines are superb. The real cherry on the cake is the "virtual" icing and anti-icing appearing and disappearing gradually on the windshield. The METARs will be even more important from now on.Great thanks to Jean and the team ROTW, for this magnificient bird.Frank
  14. Hi Chris,Many thanks for keeping us updated regarding the Fly!Legacy Wiki.FrankEBKT
  15. Hello Rene,Magnificient baby.Back to the "Glasscockpit" of the good old days.No FMS, EGPWS this time .... Gonna love those ARCDME's and holding patterns :)I'll keep a hangar free, between all the ROTW goodies like the TBM, ATR, Seneca, P51, ...Wish a smooth beta test to Jean and the ROTW team.Salutations / Best regards,Frank
  16. Hi Chris,Many thanks for the explanation regarding "theading".Nice to hear that Fly!Legacy make use of libraries allowing multithreading.Best regards,Frank
  17. Roland,Many thanks for the info regarding multithreading.I have P4 3,3 HT (+ nvidia GT6900) and noticed in Fly!2 at least double fps compared to my previous P4 1,4 (nvidia 5800).I presume HT in combination with increased L1 & L2 CPU cache contributes to the increased fps.Mes salutations / Best regards,Frank
  18. >I'll be adding multithreading to the terrain code soon to>handle loading/unloading of terrain textures in the>background.>Hi Chris,Small question: will processsors with Hyperthreading (Eg. 25. "ATR42-500 available": what a magnificient news from ROTW.Took her already in the bue skies over the "Village ROTW".In one word: superb.Good to have the included manual at hand, because the AC/DC electric systems, GPWS, anti-icing systems, and last but not least the failure generator are keeping us up and busy in the skies.I'm already spooling up the engines again. (Enjoying that sound)And yes, AC/DC cables are disconnected ... this time :)Many thanks to the team ROTW for offering this beauty,Frank
