  1. Hi John, thanks for helping! Both on the same machine... With regard to the flightplan, this is however the very plan I made and loaded the first time I started RC4. And the problem with RC4 also occurs with the tutorial flightplans which come with RC4, so I can't be the flightplan I reckon..Rob "Holland&Holland" de Vries http://www.emotipad.com/emoticons/Flying.gif"To go up, pull the stick back. 2. Hi Rick,I followed you steps making sure that a newly downloaded msstdfmt.dll is in the windows/system32 directory.I got the message:"DllRegisterServer of msstdfmt.dll has succeeded"But after starting RC4 I'm still getting the second errormessage as shown in the above post (runtime error 53) after loading the .pln file and also with every other .pln file (including the tutorial .pln files of the RC4/Tutorial/ directory). The first .pln file which causes the error has the following content[flightplan]title=89WA to W16description=89WA, W16type=IFRroutetype=1cruising_altitude=3753departure_id=89WA, N48* 16.24', W122* 1.16', +000131.23departure_position=18destination_id=W16, N47* 52.29', W121* 59.72', +000049.21departure_name=Williams Airpatchdestination_name=Firstairwaypoint.0=89WA, A, N48* 16.24', W122* 1.16', +000131.23,waypoint.1=W16, A, N47* 52.29', W121* 59.72', +000049.21,Thanks in advanceRob "Holland&Holland" de Vries http://www.emotipad.com/emoticons/Flying.gif"To go up, pull the stick back. 10. About updating the Tupolev KLN90B: look what they write at the forum:You can enhance the database by downloading the latest AIRAC for FSNavigator from www.navdata.at . Also if you should not have FSNavigator, you can install the AIRAC data and will find it in the FS Modules/FSNavigator/bin folder. Now just copy the file isec.txt from there to the PTT_KLN90B folder (it's in your FS main folder). Now your database is considered actualFor usage of the FSNavigator database, edit the pt_kln90.cnf file (located in FSs root directory) and add the following line: EXTINTDB=1Launch your notepad/wordpad application, make sure to have "all files" option at the bottom line so you can see the file. browse to FSs root folder, hit open....and voila! Hope this helpsRob "Holland&Holland" de Vries http://www.emotipad.com/emoticons/Flying.gif"To go up, pull the stick back. To go down, pull the stick back harder"

  16. I tried using apron routes and it workes. No lines are visible! Donno if that's a sound solution but quick and dirty it works. I also gonna try the zero width taxiroute.I'll report back! Thanks!!! :)Rob "Holland&Holland" de Vries http://www.emotipad.com/emoticons/Flying.gif"To go up, pull the stick back. To go down, pull the stick back harder"
  17. Many thanks guys for the swift answer!!Sorry for the newby questions..but I did actually make 1 feet taxiwaysand this is what it looks like. Note the grass stripes standing out from the background photoscenery.Reggy: you said "If the photoscenery is in a scenery layer as a ground texture - FlightSim will not texture the taxiways, aprons or runways based on the Airport Facility data, which can be modified by AFCAD.If the photoscenery is in the autogen, landclass or airport polygon layers - FlightSim will texture the various elements."But again, how do I know if MegaScenery PWN is of which type :-badteeth. It seems they are a scenery layer.AFCAD tells me that MegaScenery PWN comes with a changed bgl(afcad) file and it shows the runway.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/130356.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/130357.jpgRob "Holland&Holland" de Vries http://www.emotipad.com/emoticons/Flying.gif"To go up, pull the stick back. 18. Working with AFCAD2 for FS2004. Adding taxiways to 89WA (little grassstrip) in Megascenery Pacific NorthWest photoscenery. If you make some taxiways for a grassy airfield (on photoscenery texture) and you don't want any ugly textures of AFCAD superimposed. Is this possible? So just the tracks for AI but no taxiwaytextures...?Thanks! Rob "Holland&Holland" de Vries http://www.emotipad.com/emoticons/Flying.gif"To go up, pull the stick back. 23. In februaro 2004 Bill spoke about a Firebomber version of the B25J soon after releasing the DC3, but what's the status? Did I miss it?Look here what he wroteHi David,You answered your own question - we're going full-bore on the Douglas with time for little else. The Water-Bomber, or Borate-Bomber, if you prefer (fire-bomber sounds a bit pyromaniacal) will be along after we have released the new R4D. Hold your water - or borate!Bill RambowMAAM-SIM - Rambow, Visser, Banting, Young, and WomackRob "Holland&Holland" de Vries http://www.emotipad.com/emoticons/Flying.gif"To go up, pull the stick back. 24. Hi,I have ASV with the latest beta installed and a registered FSUIPC (v350 30-08-2005).But I'll get a FS Disconnected message whatever I do. I reinstalled the full ASV installer without additional betaupgrade. I reinstalled FSUIPC completely but still getting this horrible message. What's going on, what am I doing wrong?Rob "Holland&Holland" de Vries http://www.emotipad.com/emoticons/Flying.gif"To go up, pull the stick back. To go down, pull the stick back harder"
