  1. I am having exactly the same issue. Fresh install of everything but vPilot is not recognizing the FLAI models although the FLAI addon is enabled. I didn't have any issue related to Dyn Light...just installed FLAi and launched the Sim and vPilot, but no sign of FLAI models being recognized. Ezio
  2. Same for me....sent an email.....waiting for an answer from support
  3. Thanks for your time. I have opened a support ticket. Please let me know which file I have to send you. Ciao Ezio
  4. This is weird.....uninstalling FS2Crew fixes the issue. All flights carried out without FS2Crew installed has no CTD......Initial flight after the FS2Crew reinstallation is CTD free, but then starting from the 2nd or 3rd flight the story begins again...I could repeat these steps forever and ever...they are 100% replicable on my system. I have also tried to remove/reinstall the 747 with no success. The system is pretty clean (Win10 Home, just for P3D and nothing else), all addons are native P3D or anyway no one imported with any tool whatsoever from FSX, and I made a fresh install of everything (OS included) a very short time ago. This is not a showstopper for using the Queen and FS2Crew, but it is annoying as it indicates that there is something in the system not working as it should.. Ciao Ezio
  5. Bryan, here we are again. After a few flights with no CTD on exit I started having the issue again. Removed FS2Crew and the problem disappeared, reinstalled, launched the Queen, opened FS2Crew Sec Pnl to configure, closed the Sim, no CTD. Restarted again, loaded the Queen, and this time again CTD. This time I have not selected any headset. Any idea ? Thanks Ezio Cingolani
  6. Same story here. Made two flights with V4.2, the PMDG747 (with latest patch) and FS2Crew and everything worked flawlessly. Ezio
  7. Hi Bryan, after another removal / reinstall of FS2Crew only, now it works both with headset selected and unselected. I will keep monitoring the situation and get back to you if it starts again. Ciao Ezio
  8. Yes and No, in the sense that I am using the HS option to redirect the FO voice to the monitor speakers, so in terms of hardware I am not using a headset but from a FS2Crew standpoint yes, I am using it. Ezio
  9. Hi Bryan, I am loving your product for the PMDG 747, but I am having an issue which I would like to share with you. I have been experiencing for some time P3D V4.1 CTD when closing the Sim every time I use the PMDG 747. This is on a fresh Win10 Home and P3D V4.1 install and started to happen after a few flights. Every other addon aircraft is OK, it is only the 747 which is causing this problem. I have followed every indication I have found on the forums, but I was not able to fix the problem. Then I started looking at the latest addons I had installed before the problem showed up and what I have found is that if I remove FS2Crew QOTS II the problem disappears. I have no idea what can be the rationale behind this, as it happens on a very clean system and during the flight it works flawlessly, yet the simple fact is that if I install FS2Crew and load the PMDG 747 then the Sim crashes on exit. I have also FS2Crew for the T7 and the NGX and they don't have this problem. This is the typical report I have: Description Faulting Application Path: C:\Prepar3D V4\Prepar3D.exe Problem signature Problem Event Name: BEX64 Application Name: Prepar3D.exe Application Version: 4.1.7.22841 Application Timestamp: 59d67e95 Fault Module Name: ucrtbase.dll Fault Module Version: 10.0.16299.214 Fault Module Timestamp: e71e5dfe Exception Offset: 000000000006b79e Exception Code: c0000409 Exception Data: 0000000000000007 OS Version: 10.0.16299.2.0.0.768.101 Locale ID: 1033 Additional Information 1: 8a08 Additional Information 2: 8a08f4d9b67b1d85799277666db9a645 Additional Information 3: a315 Additional Information 4: a31580dea7ba6cd4caf8a010e50c91c7 The Fault Module Name (ucrtbase.dll), according to the CTD guide on the forum, would seem to indicate a problem related to Microsoft Visual Studio C++ installation, but on my system I have all versions (both 32 and 64b) up to the latest update. I would like your opinion on the above Thanks and best regards Ciao Ezio
  10. Glad you sorted out your problem...! It drove me crazy before I could solve it and I went very close to reinstall the whole Sim....so I know the feeling... :-) Ezio
  11. I had this issue a few days ago and after struggling hard to find a solution, the right clue came from K. Menard on the ChasePlane forum. Quoting from him: "We have not found the root cause of this issue but with some add-on combinations, the wxstationlist.bin file causes SimConnect applications to stop working properly. Removing this file and letting it regenerate should fix the issue. This issue is not caused by ChasePlane as the file is not modified by ChasePlane. Shutdown the simulator Navigate to the following folder corresponding to your simulator version %APPDATA%\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4 %APPDATA%\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3 %APPDATA%\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2 %APPDATA%\Microsoft\FSX-SE %APPDATA%\Microsoft\FSX Remove the wxstationlist.bin file Launch the simulator" It fixed the issue for me.....it might be worth trying Good luck Ezio
  12. Everything working fine here as well...! Thanks a lot Keven....!! Shame on me for not having noticed that in FSFX website... Ciao Ezio
  13. To reinstall Simconnect, go to the P3D root folder and look for the Redist folder. Inside that you will find the following folders: ESP V1 FSX-RTM FSX-SP1 FSX-SP2-PACK Inside the first one you will find a Simconnect.msi file. For the remaining 3 folders, navigate into Retail / Lib subfolders and you will find for each of them a Simconnect.msi. Just run all 4 msi files and that's it. However I have already tried this without results. Let me know if it works for you Ezio
  14. Has anyone got the full installer of a pre 5.123 version of FSUIPC ? I just replaced the .dll as I didn’ t have the full installer but only the 5.122 .dll. Might be worth trying with a full install. ezio
  15. I also have come to the conclusion it is not a CP issue. I have reinstalled the 4 versions of Simconnect but it has not helped, and I have also tried to use a pre 5.123 version of FSUIPC but no success. AS16 is updated at the latest version abd the network configuration is OK. I assume the System is broken somewhere ma I can’ t spot where it is broken and I am running out of ideas.
  16. It seems we have the same problem.....it is not only Chaseplane affected, but all the addons which are listed in the drop down Addon menu in P3D. And not only those.... I also have AS16 installed in a networked configuration and although the "Simulator connected" notice appears, AS16 is not able to inject the weather. I have been investigating on it today and although I have not found a solution, it seems that the only way to clear the issue is to disable FSUIPC in the dll.xml file (which is obviously not a viable solution....). In this way I can access to all the CP views, the Addon Menu is working well and AS16 injects weather.... I have tried to reinstall FSUIPC, delete the .ini file, use a previous version but no success at all, It looks like a communication issue between Simconnect and FSUIPC which then freezes several other addons including CP. This is weird....I have never had such a problem in the past. If you find a solution, please let me know... Ezio
  17. Hi, I am having a strange issue with Chaseplane and PMDG 747 on P3D V4.1. I have the Chaseplane latest experimental build installed and I have mapped both internal and external views to some joystick buttons and I have always been able to switch correctly among them since I installed CP many months ago. What happens now is that I no longer can switch to the external views either using the buttons or even via the Chaseplane GUI in the presets section. The Internal views work well with no issues at all, the problem is only on the external views (and on the static cameras...they are not accessible as well). Any suggestion ? Thanks Ezio
  18. Oliver, thanks for your answer. You made me realize something which I had completely forgotten: another thing I installed very recently is Rex Sky Force and I am using it just for the Clouds textures and sync, as I am using AS16 for weather engine. I am not 100% sure if my issues started immediately after I installed SF but for sure this is interesting based on what you wrote in your answer. I will make some more investigation in this direction. Just one question: when you say "I have to keep SF disabled", what do you mean exactly ? You just don't launch it while P3D is running or what else ? Thanks Ezio
  19. Oliver, I would like to post on this forum an issue that I am having on P3D V4.1. Although I don' t think the issue is related to your Addon Organizer (I have posted it also on other forums), the reason I am posting here is because the problem started to appear immediately after I update the Addon Organizer to the latest version (1_26_b01 ) and seems to be related to scenery so I would like also to hear your thoughts and hopefully have some troubleshooting suggestions here. I am running P3D V4.1 on Win10 Home (without the latest Meltdown patches as I have disabled WIndows update) and the problem appears with any addon aircraft loaded at an addon airport. When I launch a flight at an addon airport, it loads everything correctly and then it starts the initialization of the airplane, and the green bar with the seconds counter appears on top of the screen. Exactly two seconds after it starts, the green bar disappears and the initialization stops. The Sim menu is still functional and if I quit the Sim, the Sim has a CTD with a "ucrtbase.dll module fault" (as reported by appcrashview). It is not specific to a particular addon aircraft However if I a load a previously saved flight everything initializes correctly and the sim runs flawlessly, but then it CTD upon exit (for the same ucrtbase.dll fault). I have googled "ucrtbase.dll ctd" and it appears that it is something related to Microsoft Visual C++, but I have followed the Avsim CTD guide for this case, and reinstalled all the Microsoft Visual C++ but nothing has changed. Again, the only change I made to the Sim before this issue started was the update of the Addon Organizer to version 1_26_b01. I would like your view on this Thanks Ezio
  20. Marc, thanks....this is the next step I am going to go through....even if it sounds strange that all of a sudden, without any new scenery being installed I have started having this problem. However, it must be something related to scenery because if I load any addon aircraft on any default airport I don't have the problem, or to be more precise, the aircraft initializes and I can fly with no issues (the sim crash only on exit) but loading the same aircraft on most of the addon airports, the intialization freezes after 2 or 3 seconds and nothing else happens, until I exit the Sim, which caused the Sim to CTD. This is the reason why I initially posted on this forum, as I wanted to understand what happens during the initialization process of the PMDG aircraft that can create conflict with other processes going on in P3D (for sure this is not a PMDG related issue, as the problem occurs also with other non PMDG addon aircraft). And also why the problem doesn't occur if I load a previously saved flight..?..what's the difference between this and a C&D load at a gate with respect to the issue I am having ?.....Is it because this happens far away from any addon airports so, if the problem is scenery related it cannot show up ? This is really weird, and I fear I will have to make a fresh install of everything which will not make me happy, because I will never know what is causing the problem and so it might reoccur again... Ezio
  21. Kyle, thanks, but the Avsim CTD guide was the first thing I looked and followed when the problem started and unfortunately I had no luck with it. Just let me ask you this: what would change from a PMDG software standpoint between loading a previously saved flight and loading a C&D cockpit ? Because the weird thing is that I can load a saved flight at FL330 but I cannot load a cold and dark airplane at a gate, as the initialization stops a couple of seconds after it starts. In this case however I have a CTD when quitting the Sim. Thanks Ezio
  22. Hi, the Sim is P3D V4.1 on Win10 Home (without the latest Meltdown patches as I have disabled WIndows update) and the aircraft is the PMDG 747 with all the latest micro updates applied. Everything has been working flawlessly until two days ago, but then all of a sudden I am experiencing this problem: when I launch a flight at an addon airport, it loads everything correctly and then it starts the initializtion of the airplane, and the green bar with the seconds counter appears on top of the screen. Exactly two seconds after it starts, the green bar disappears and the initialization stops. The Sim menu is still functional and if I quit the Sim, the Sim has a CTD with a "ucrtbase.dll module fault" (as reported by appcrashview). It is not a PMDG specific problem, as it happens also on other complex addon aircraft, but the reason I am reporting here is to understand what happens on the PMDG 747 at 2 or 3 seconds into the inizialization of the plane in order to have a clue on how to fix this issue. I have googled "ucrtbase.dll ctd" and it appears that it is something related to Microsoft Visual C++, but I have gone through the reinstallation of them and nothing has changed. Thanks in advance for any help that you can provide edit: if I a load a previously saved flight everything initialises correctly and the sim runs flawlessly, but then it CTD upon exit (for the same ucrtbase.dll fault) Ezio Cingolani
  23. There is a small freeware tool, called HRC, which allows you to change monitor refresh rate with just one click, provided your monitor supports that refresh rate. Me too, I only use 30 Hz for Flight Simming, but switching from 60 hz to 30 hz before starting P3D is really matter of 1 second...and the difference in terms of smoothness is huge....
  24. For sure at EGLL on Vatsim and in some other particular areas I must accept some stuttering, but as you also said, they are not so heavy, and during the day, with no dynamic lighting they are very minor......but most of the times, even on the ground and with other traffic, the sim is very smooth....some airports performs way better than others but there is nothing we can do about that: simply some developers are better than others... Ezio
  25. No tweak in the .cfg, no Nvidia Inspector, just Unlimited FPS, VSync and TB ON in P3D settings menu, and monitor refresh rate at 30Hz. That is my perfect combination for P3D V4.1 in terms of stutters prevention. Ezio
