I think the explanations were somewhat long winded for educational purposes - a reciprocating engine is not that hard to start although some background knowledge always helps.

Frankly, I see them going the way of Level-D.

Their ongoing secrecy and the flat out refusal to give any indication on where they are at, their future plans etc. means users will lose interest given other high-end options are available.

I really think you are over-thinking it here. Depending on the type where you can get under the cowling for a good look, such as a Piper Cherokee you have no detailed method of checking for oil line wear & tear or check the condition of the oil filter other than looking at the oil dipstick.

Oil T's & P's are the only real indicators of oil issues in the average GA aircraft unfortunately, unless you can clearly see oil pouring out from somewhere.

I agree. I've always supported PMDG but they need to lift their game in light of this - I'm almost speechless. Hopefully a 787 might be on the way.

I really don't understand Asobo's attitude towards such a simple issue as "pause".

I still can't work out the idea behind this silly "Active Pause" function.

I understand the initial reason for withholding the release of something that was apparently ready to go, but don't understand the ongoing secrecy and obfuscation about releasing it now.

I have a few hours instructing in one - nasty little machine as others have said.

I'll be passing on this one, but hope those who buy it enjoy it.

This happens after every update to P3D.

The developer will usually provide an update within a few days.
