  1. Not for awhile. But up until last month there was a SFO-DEN and a DEN-SFO but it's since been discontinued.Jay EklundCAT VI Captain KDENhttp://online.vatsimindicators.net/812321/764.png
  2. Not sure what use FS makes out of FSS stations but I can tell you we had real good oceanic coverage from Oakland ZAK_FSS all weekend long on VATSIM. Made the pacific a whole bunch more fun and interesting than usual. Cudos to the ZOA crew for staffing that more often.Jay EklundCAT VI Captain KDENhttp://online.vatsimindicators.net/812321/764.png

  4. VATSIM is the way to go. Download Servinfo (freeware) and it'll show you graphically where you'll find ATC.Jay EklundCAT VI First Officer KDENhttp://online.vatsimindicators.net/812321/764.png
  5. It's a new stand alone prog, previous version not required. New Balkins theater, better stability, ONLY F-16's, no more "fly any airplane". If you were into the orginal F4, you'll like this. Sorry I can't give more details but I still find it hard to peel my hands off my yoke and hook up the HOTAS more often without a cattle prod to my behind. Is it groundbreaking and new? No not really, but it is good old F4 without the headaches and flakiness the original or haxorized version were so known for. 6. I think I once heard it referred to as "Aluminum Overcast" which I thought pretty fitting. Doesn't quite roll off the tongue like Queen though.Jay EklundCAT VI Second Officer KDENhttp://online.vatsimindicators.net/812321/764.png
  7. They did it with one of the Concordes, one side was BA, the other SA.Jay EklundCAT VI Second Officer KDENhttp://online.vatsimindicators.net/812321/764.png
  8. You're not alone, I've learned to live without it. Would be handy to have again though with some of the add-on capabilities out there.Jay EklundCAT VI Second Officer KDENhttp://online.vatsimindicators.net/812321/764.png
  9. I believe applications are indeed still being accepted but there seems to be a delay in processing right now due to some RW commitments by some staff members. Jay EklundCAT VI Second Officer KDENhttp://online.vatsimindicators.net/812321/764.png
  10. Very much looking forward to this guys, do it right instead of quickly.Jay EklundCATV Senior Captain KDENhttp://online.vatsimindicators.net/812321/764.png

  13. Well I was the other lucky pile-it that day with Warren and his posting of the experience was pretty accurate. It was as much fun (and frustrating) as it sounds. While I wouldn't say I was disappointed in returning home to FS9, I was thinking more to myself "Ya know it wouldn't really take that much to get close to that minus the motion part of course. A few projection systems, building a pit, a dedicated room with no lights except from the sim, etc." Jay EklundCATV Senior Captain KDENhttp://online.vatsimindicators.net/812321/764.png
  14. Nope, but it does have that capabilty, it's just done differently if I understand your question correctly. Go to the legs page, click the LSK for the int you want to go to and then click the LSK1L (top left), then click the exec button and you're off dir to whatever waypoint you put at the top of the legs list.Jay EklundCATV Captain KDENhttp://online.vatsimindicators.net/812321/764.png
  15. Wow Terry, That was quite the undertaking. Great news. Thanks for your efforts.Jay EklundCAT V Captain KDENhttp://online.vatsimindicators.net/812321/764.png
  16. First i would thoroughly look through the forums as it's been discussed many times already. Barring that, you can start here.http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...=4002&mode=fullJay EklundCAT V Captain KDENhttp://online.vatsimindicators.net/812321/764.png
  17. Where it says "aircraft.cfg's under:" it shaoulda said (flaps.0), looks like the square brackets didn't come across in the post. Jay EklundCAT V First Officer KDENhttp://online.vatsimindicators.net/812321/764.png
  18. Do the following at your own risk, no warranty implied or given, your mileage may vary.Add the following entries to your aircraft.cfg's under [Flaps.0]: for the A320 there should be an entry as follows:lift_scalar=1.42(Can use same entry for the 319 but I don't, I found it was the 320 and 321 that needed the most tweaking.) for the A321 it should be:lift_scalar=0.926 unless you are using the iFDG/PSS merge when these settings are not necessary.Jay EklundCAT V First Officer KDENhttp://online.vatsimindicators.net/812321/764.png
  19. Luigi, Do an advanced search through the airbus forum for Bob Scott scalar, for there you will find the answer and the *unsupported* solution to your problem. I made the changes on my buses and couldn't be happier.Jay EklundCAT V First Officer KDENhttp://online.vatsimindicators.net/812321/764.png
  20. Ok Terry, A piece of information jumped out at me this time which could explain a lot about the issues I was having. I have the "All in one" from approximately last december I believe but I thought I read a line that said if you're using the AIO, pss_insert will not/cannot update that. Is that really the case? Thanks,Jay EklundCAT V Second Officer KDENhttp://online.vatsimindicators.net/812321/764.png
  21. Any of the 4 different airports by Gary Widup, KDEN, KSLC, KPHX and KSTL. KBOI in developement. http://www.avsim.com/hangar/utils/gwidup/Jay EklundCAT V Second Officer KDENhttp://online.vatsimindicators.net/812321/764.png
  22. Ditto!Jay EklundCAT V Second Officer KDENhttp://online.vatsimindicators.net/812321/764.png
  23. Not I, But appreciate the thought there Bill seeing as how it was *the* add-on to use not so very long ago.Jay EklundCAT V Second Officer KDENhttp://online.vatsimindicators.net/812321/764.png
  24. Sorry for the delay, been squawkbox3'n it around for the last few days. Anyhoo, it was indeed v1.0 that I had. Will grab 1.1 and give it another go. I think some of the confusion I was experiencing was from what directory to run it from, the source or the destination? Actually neither worked for me at the time. Luckily I have a pretty recent all in one that is for the most part current so this is by no means urgent and I'm spending most of my time in a new 67 right now anyway. Jay EklundCAT V Second Officer KDENhttp://online.vatsimindicators.net/812321/764.png
  25. Thanks Terry, Let me get home and take a look at what I have but it's probably been the better part of two months since I last tried. Will check version, attempt again and get back to you.ThanksJay EklundCAT V Second Officer KDENhttp://online.vatsimindicators.net/812321/764.png
