  1. Really? That sucks! Anyway, Bad_T told me to just drop the .dat file into the main "ReshadeInjectUWP" and enable the .exe in the options. Works great! However the flightsim.to version, doesn't work for me. I had to create my own from scratch. Downloaded this https://github.com/MilkyDeveloper/ReshadeForUWP Watched this video to install from scratch:
  2. Bad_T is going to try to see what he can do for me to get it working. No promises right now, but that guy is also a genius. 😀
  3. Reshade files can be dropped right into the steam folder. This would allow reshade to load the same way it did in XP11. As stated, not needed for steam users.
  4. I tried it and actually like it. I even watched some videos on what effects to add. I did not like the fact that I had to create and log into an account to use it. I just wanted to try reshade to see how the sim looks. I like what I see so far and there are a few profiles available. I can always go back to freestyle if I can't use reshade with the add-on linker.
  5. I'm starting this thread just in case anyone else wants to try this easy way to add a reshade preset. Here's the download: https://flightsim.to/file/20557/finallight-reshade-preset-realistic-colors-and-tone-fixes Has anyone tried this with add-on linker? I like the idea of using reshade, but need to use add-on linker to execute the .bat and all the other software that I load. Any ideas are appreciated. Jose

  7. I can't wait to test DX12. This will test the will of Titan X Pascal. 😀
  8. Does it really make a difference? You need to spend more time & invest some money on the new aircraft to see what has improved or needs to be improved. You can be a part of the growth or live vicariously through this community. I'm not part of the beta, but I monitor what's coming in SU10. Only YOU can judge if it works for you now and in the near future.
  9. Honda Jet. Easy to start, set-up, and a joy to fly.
  10. I remember the 1st time I tried DX12 in P3D, confidently it was in London's EGLL, with all the ORBX's bells and whistles, and it ran with much higher fps. It was exactly as you described in you OP. I'm more inclined to think that it's your DX12 setting then the AA. My only concern back then was running out of VRAM.
  11. If you want a complex single, forum members say that it's the best one you can buy. I would wait until they go on sale.
  12. The "live" weather feature can be amazing when it's on. Sometimes it doesn't depict clouds, but when it does, I've seen some stunning clouds.
  13. Yes it does and I love it! I've been using it since day one.
  14. Some just misconstrue passion & obsession. I know I'm passionate because I support a sim that is in constant change. I still complain from time to time, but enjoy the sim as much as possible.
  15. Those who don't buy add-on airports are missing out on a gem.
  16. @filou I'm usually on your side, but this time I have to be on the other side of the conversation. This small updates, although small, are creating a fantastic sim that you should be enjoying. Even if you need a mod or two, it's worth the effort and it's the best flight sim ever created. Get out of the box and appreciate what you have.
  17. Being a real world Pilot has more to do with following instructions than flying DPs & STARS. 😀 Becoming proficient at IFR flying is about understanding ATC procedures, FPs, & charts. The problem with MSFS is that is a PITA to create a flight plan that will stick. I spent time finding out what's the best way to create a flight that could be loaded into MSFS so that default ATC could take me from airport to airport without a hitch. Using a combination of Simbrief & Little NAV Map, I have been able to create IFR flights that load and play well with live weather, live traffic, and default ATC. I focus on flying the plane and the Co-Pilot handles the ATC. If you want real ATC, then consider VATSIM.
  18. Bill, There's an update coming soon and it's well worth the wait.
  19. Most simmers have been exhausted by buying airports for every sim upgrade that now they seek to get their thrills of freeware. I'm not one of those simmers. I look for 50% off deals and buy only what I feel is worth keeping. Having said that, I'll pay full price for a KTPA & KSPG today.
  20. Checking to see if it all carries over to MSFS. Update: 1st flight worked well. Currently we can't add a destination parking spot with LNM, but it's scheduled update for v3.
  21. That doesn't work for me. I have to hope that they fixed it in SU 10.
  22. Keep in mind that SU 10 will bring us radar weather, so maybe it will be delayed again.
