Could be true but when you pass the 300 mile radius from your port of origin, you wil see clouds clear up in a very distinct straight line and then only haze is left.

I decided to go for the hotfix today but now during my first flight I wonder what actually was 'fixed'. The weather? Again, after 300 miles I get the straight line cutting off the clouds and leaving only the haze..... No metar etc. I checked, I got version 1.21.18, which I learned is the current one for the hotfix..... What did they hotfix?

My rule of thumb; when the previews do not show close ups of the terminal buildings (hence the wear and tear is visible) I don't expect too much of it. Many videos and images ignore close ups. KPSP is no different. Only one close up of a mall that probably is in the vicinity.

The day RR announced development of the 737 for MSFS, I bought it together with a new pc. Till then I was an enthusiastic P3Dv4 pilot convinced MSFS was only for low and slow. I actually figured that all the problems he mentions now had been dealt with as we know PMDG will not lower their standards. But alas, as often as we are experiencing broken features, it must have frustrated PMDG too. Should LM publish P3Dv6 now, I think I am very tempted to get my hands on that and to install all my abandoned add-ons again, including my PMDG iron!

Because we live on the 'blue planet' and that is what our planet lookes like from greater altitude because of the humidity.

Nice video but the DC6 at such short distance behind the 747 should have given them a lot of wake turbulence.... Let alone if they would be able to keep up with each other without any flap settings on the 747. So, not very realistic, but surely a nice video.

I think they like some quiet r&r with their families as well during X Mas hence wait releasing the bird until January.

Compared to the excellent LGAV by FlyTampa with people moving inside the terminal and realistic traffic movement around the airport, I think this is a little overpriced. I will wait for a special offer.

I wished new sounds would be recorded as the present one do not enhance the immersion....

Hoping that the F27, which is now listed somewhere in between, will make it to a serious project. Obviously Justflight is not porting it.....

i am under the impression that Asobo already took a turn to DX12. My new machine suddenly will not perform anymore wih DX11. But my gtx3070 obviously likes Dx12 and runs better with it.

Anxiously awating the PMDG 737 and hopefully not too long after the Triple. I miss a long hauler as the MSFS / Github 787 doesn't do it for me. As for scenery, I hope some developer will build a decent TNCC as that was one of my favorite hubs in the Caribbean in P3D.

same problem with fresh install on new pc.....

I have played them all. Man, it was challenging, even with the minimal scenery. Remember once setting up a flight to go from Chicago to Seattle. Scenery along the way where just some colored squares, nothing in detail, nothing fancy. Used my atlas to determine a direction. Finally got to Seattle, but no glorious scenery. Look at what we have right now..... 🙂

Had the same experience, a long pause and some stutters and the FBW A320 (dev) frantically wanting to climb but was at cruising alt already. Shortly after I had recovered from that it happened again and the plane went up to 40K ft in no time (and was about to stall). That made me suspect it had to do with a spike in the weather. Not the one Asobo fixed as I have not encountered that jump in temperature anymore thus far. On decent all was ok. So I suspect the weatherfile. But indeed, quite an immersion killer.

I too used to struggle getting a flight started after SU5. It would generally crash just after the airport and the FBW were loaded. I tried everything, Turning the online connection, AI and live weather off and setting the graphics to low-end would sometimes work. But what worked one day, could easily lead to a CTD the next. Then, fed up with it, I playfully decided to set my graphics to high-end ( my pc is 5 years old so no way it qualifies for that and I have a Nvidia 96x card) and extend the rolling cache from 8 to 16. 8 was set automaitcally when I installed the game. Not sure of course which really helped but now I have had 4 working starts in a row. No more issues so far so maybe it helps any of you.

Thanks for all the input guys! Got the UserCfg adjusted to reading my original Community folder and all is well (apart from the troubles SU5 gave that leads to CTD's, those are still present, but off line I can fly). Happy Landings!

I can adjust the .opt extension into .txt. but when I want to return to .opt, it remains a txt file named usercfg.opt..... Guess my pc doesnt have any app using .opt hence will not adjust.
