  1. glad you sorted it out, but you should have 'import ofp' in the tablet to select the rte. set 'use ofp/simbrief...' in sim option in the load mgr. and make sure you don't have a custom tail number under 'customization>tail number' or else save and sync will not work.
  2. just did a lirf to lirq using vnav and at, nice! now let's get the vision g2 updated, too. these ffx a/c's are first rate.
  3. another whining about pmdg christmas classic. happy holidays.
  4. similar perf hit landing facing west, fps around threshold drops to 8 or so and after rolling out and terminals not in view, it recovers to 30 or so. happened twice so far.
  5. From the maddog team: we have just uploaded our latest Fly the Maddog X build (1.1b137) to simMarket. I'd like to remind, you won't need to uninstall the previous version: just download and run the new installer over the previous one and everything will be updated keeping all your settings and airframes! Hoping to give you a gift giving a bit extra value to your purchase, here is the full changelog: >>>NEW SYSTEMS - added option for FMS CANADIAN MARCONI / PMS - added option for EPR SEL in TRP >>> FIXED - fixed issue in fms procedures with two consecutive dme arcs - fixed issue with brakes remain engaged if autobrake disable by switching it off (not touching the pedals) - fixed issue in updating FMS #2 when tipying on the scratch pad - fixed free text not working in CPDLC - fixed issue with PDC - fixed issue of MDClient when running (but flying another addon), in certain cases would not permit the other addon CPDLC to work correctly - fixed issue which prevent, in certain cases, from receiving Hoppie telex messages (in any case auto white list must be off to receive message from stations not previously contacted) MODEL - fixed issue of misplaced plug in the GPU cable on aircraft side OTHER - when selecting data client to 'None' METARs are now still available - MDClient is not installed anymore as a startup app, but it starts automatically when MSFS starts - 'ready at gate' now use APU for power to avoid issues with GPU when using GSX - added option for takeoff CLAMP filter in LM SIMULATOR settings page DOCUMENTATION - Updated Quick Guide and User Manual
  6. what we see here on avsim, there's a pattern: the same tired kast of karacters harping on the same thing on anything pmdg related. not entirely sure what the problem is, but there's no holding back grown men with grievance.
  7. razbam metroliner aka san antonio sewer pipe b52
  8. the Guimbal eyepoint is wrong for vr, should be adjusted up like this in cameras.cfg: eyepoint = -6.2, 0, 2.815 also, entry in [CAMERADEFINITION.0] should set the view angles to all zeros for vr: InitialPbh = 0,0,0
  9. pre-su11 was smooth but after update experienced stuttering and load spiking on the cpu. gfx setting didn't change the behavior. cleared the scenery cache and problem went away.
  10. dev promptly responds to tickets and are aware of the texture, etc. feedback from users. i'm sure they'll update the msfs version with efb like they had on the p3d version with navigraph support and upgraded vc textures. maddog is a great plane to fly in the msfs world--so smooth (unlike p3d scenery that looked bad and had horrible frames and stutters). for the price of 4 carenados, the maddog is a bargain.
  11. in vr, dlss blurriness can be somewhat compensated with higher supersampling by setting the openxr tool for WMR (not openxr toolkit) and set the ‘custom render scale’ slider above 100%. ex: setting this to 130% means the image will render at 3604 x 3522 and by setting the dlss quality=balance, decent performance with ~clear text on the glass panels. depending on overall gfx settings and rtx hw, performance will vary, but for the 3090, seems to work ok.
  12. <in VR> this is true. perf hit is quite high at dlss=quality. taking it down to =ultraperf still gives decent txt.
  13. The more things change, the more they stay the same.
  14. gee, a martyr for historical wx... an obscure feature of activesky that drives people bonkers? just sad.
  15. yup, this is avsim where old men come together for pilot cosplay fellowship and stalk and complain about developers non-stop. on youtube i see professional 737 and a320 pilots share their enthusiasm and enjoyment of flying the 737 (and a320) in mfs, sharing with the cosplay community how to fly these cool machines like the real thing without the constant complaining on how the texture is fsx or lnav is a total failure; one click to avsim and here it is again, how the 737 is simply a warmed over p3d version and how much grudge they hold against the developer for some creepy personal reasons. it sure is a good time kill reading grown dudes without any sense of self awareness beclowning themselves, but man, this show's been running non-stop everyday now. i'd prefer going to the other subforum and checkout the situation on historical wx and learn why mfs is for gamers, in that case the mods are full in on the conversation and is seriously entertaining.
  16. prediction: once wx radar is available to wasm models with su10, the next point of outrage will be 'it doesn't look like activesky wxr on p3d!' although the activesky wxr was nice, it depicted tstorm cells as pink cotton balls arranged in an neat array, which certainly did not look like real wxr returns. what we now see in the default wx gauge is probably what we'll get for wasm gauge, and as long as the intensity of rain on windshield loosely matches the intensity shown in the gauge, that's the best one can ask for in a disk top sim.
  17. Klga is quite nice and at 40pct off, a bargain.
  18. you're confusing "fully finished" with "perfection." has there ever been a software product that was released in the perfect state, besides windowsME?
