  1. i'm trying to figure out what i have done wrong. i never had this problem before. i load up the fmc with my route and make sure my vpeeds are set. i set the mcp to v2 +10 on takeoff . once above 3,000 i engage vnav. it will connect up to the first altitude atc assigns once it's captured that altitude and i dial in the next it does not connect. Am I missing a step somewhere. should I leave the bottom altitude restriction blank on the vnav page. since i normally hand fly sometimes above 5,000 ft. i'm lost.....

  2. can anyone assist me with this matter. I keep loosing textures after I select md-11 to fly from the drop down list. after changing several views from external to VC mode. I have an invisible airplane from the external view and internal all I see are a view knobs. this happens on several other aircraft I have purchase such as Ifly 737NG and simcheck a300-6b4.any suggestions would be appreciated

  3. I read a little on this but maybe someone can explain it better to me. do I go to that particular aircraft in my simobjects folder and edit the aircraft.cfg file by changing the title or what?I will show one of the aircraft here:[fltsim.1]title=Feelthere A320 IAE Airbus JetBlue "Blue Skies Ahead"sim=FeelThere_A320IAEmodel=panel=sound=texture=BlSkAhkb_checklists=kb_reference=atc_id=N589JBatc_id_color=atc_parking_types=ui_manufacturer=feelThere/Wilco Airbus Series Vol 1ui_type=A320 IAEui_variation=JetBlue "Blue Skies Ahead"description=Airbus Series Vol.1\nDeveloped by www.feelThere.com \nPublished by Wilco Publishing www.wilcopub.com\n\nSupport at www.feelthere.com - www.wilcopub.comui_typerole=Commercial Airlinerui_createdby=feelThere/Wilcoatc_heavy=0atc_airline=JetBlueatc_flight_number=4647visual_damage=1[fltsim.2]title=Feelthere A320 IAE Airbus JetBlue "Blue Skies Ahead"sim=FeelThere_A320IAEmodel=panel=sound=texture=BlSkAhkb_checklists=kb_reference=atc_id=N589JBatc_id_color=atc_parking_types=ui_manufacturer=feelThere/Wilco Airbus Series Vol 1ui_type=A320 IAEui_variation=JetBlue "Blue Skies Ahead"description=Airbus Series Vol.1\nDeveloped by www.feelThere.com \nPublished by Wilco Publishing www.wilcopub.com\n\nSupport at www.feelthere.com - www.wilcopub.comui_typerole=Commercial Airlinerui_createdby=feelThere/Wilcoatc_heavy=0atc_airline=JetBlueatc_flight_number=4647visual_damage=Thanks Fred

  4. I recently dl'd the TCAS V2 from Avsim. The install instructions are very well written, str8-forward, and easy to follow. I did as the instructions indicated, yet the TCAS buttons do not show up on the 2-D panel. I installed TCAS in the default 737-800 folder in Sim Objects. Any ideas?????
the button showed on my 2-d panel but when u push it it does not open. U can go up to the view tab across the top and select it from the instrment veiw tab but when i do it is only a black box. and no buttons

by the way this should be for the 737.800 in fsx.

  6. Hi Tom,In answer to your first question, it should have generated a BSOD if it crashed Windows. It goes by too fast before it restarts, but there's a setting you can make that will hold at the BSOD screen and the inforamation and addresses it displays can be helpful if you're the author of the offending program. It will also do a memory dump at the same time. It used to be in Memory.dmp in the Windows folder, I don't know where it is in Win7.In the second post, you mention the "Control Centre". Are you using the Control Manager or just Windows? If you are, then I'd like to see what the BSOD says and which version of the CM you're using (doesn't matter whether you're using a map or not, only whether or not the CM is installed) and perhaps I can track it down for you. Finally, there's a bug apparently in FSX and the 64-bit versions of both Vista and Win7. If you try to calibrate from the desktop, it will bring up the CM Calibration Applet and not the Windows Applet, but if you try to calibrate from within FSX, it will bring up the standard Windows applet. If you've calibrated there then lots of problems can ensue. What you need to do is to go into FSX and start calibration via the Windows standard applet. Early on, you'll be given the option to "Reset Defaults". Do that, and then exit as gracefully as you can without actually calibrating. Once you've done that, close FSX and calibrate it from the Desktop. It should never be calibrated from within the Windows applet.Other than that, I don't know. How have you got the yoke connected. There are known issues with the USB ports on some keyboards and wireless USB hubs, other than that it's been working fine as far as I know.If you don't have the CM installed, then I'd have to guess it's something in the USB system. There are too many yokes out there and too many copies of Win7 being used that it wouldn't have gone unnoticed on the boards. Somebody else would have seen it. Best regards,- BobThe StickWorkshttp://www.stickworks.com
I have the same problem as stated earller in the paragraph but I am having another problem too.every time i start fsx my ch yoke and pedals are unresponsive. I have to unplug both and plog them back in to get them to work. any suggestions

  7. It is quite a complicated process. They did just issue a version 3, and I've upgraded to that. Some people say that Airnav's planes don't show up unless you have your FSX Traffic set to at least 75%. Are you using it with My Traffic X? If so, your best bet is to go on their forum thru the Communicator. That's the best place to get answers. If you're not using My Traffic, I can try to help you as much as I can anyway.
I am only using FS LIVE Traffic 3
