  1. A bit of work in progess or almost finished. airberlin's latest logojet celebrating the airline's 35 anniversary. The way to your heart. Germania's ugling duckling as I prefer to call it. D-AGEY former Sterling aircraft. D-AGEY has some nice and usual cockpit placards. Unfortunately one above the registration placard can't be done properly in the NGX. Thanks to my source for the input. Qantas' Cricket logojet promoting the 2013 Ashes cup. A side note: the original image of the cricket ball and sticks can be obtained on iStockphoto ... unfortunately it costs quite a few bugs, too bad... . Also in the works are American Airlines N838NN memboer of ONEWORLD and SunExpress Germany's D-ASXL. best regards,
  2. Colin, try downloading the base file (EI-ESR) from this website again and see if the issue is fixed. http://texturesinc.wordpress.com/ I think I have tracked down the error. Best regards,
  3. Thanks for the feedback guys. It's much appreciated. I had to update LN-NIB, LN-NOO, LN-NOP and LN-NOQ due to an error in the config file. It's fixed now. Enjoy!
  4. I have just uploaded SAS Scandinavian Airlines' LN-RRW. Second Star Alliance logojet for SAS, this time without winglets. SATCOM antenna is included, no worries! Download Enjoy it!
  5. William, just the base file if you want to get 'Wi-Fi' sticker in the flight deck. Get the NAX configuration file in order to update the respective configs. If you want LN-NGV you also need to download NAX76. Thanks!
  6. Sorry for digging out this old topic of mine again, but I thought it would be nice to know for those Norwegian Air Shuttle fans that the complete fleet has been updated with an accurate aircraft configuration file. Special thanks go out to Steve Bell who pointed out an error and I took the plunge a re-uploaded all files plus one including LN-GV, Norwegian's latest Boeing 737-800. Ignore the 'STEEL BRAKES INSTALLED' label, all NAX 737-800 are equipped with carbon brakes now. Interesting to see how far I have come with Norwegian's fleet for the NGX. The images on the first page to of this thread don't reflect the current state of the repaints anymore. -_- For more news about Norwegian for NGX go here: http://texturesinc.wordpress.com/2014/03/27/norwegian-air-shuttle-updated/ The complete fleet can be downloaded here: http://texturesinc.wordpress.com/norwegian-air-shuttle/ Enjoy it!
  7. Bogdan, thanks for your input. I'll keep that data on my drive but anyway I'd rather update my LH Cargo repaints with a more informed source rather than image and video footage. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate your efforts. Best regards,
  8. Not the latest news, but I have finished Lufthansa Cargo's D-ALFC (Ni Hao, China 你好, 中国). You can get from here or the common dropbox folder: http://texturesinc.wordpress.com/ I am still trying to get the accurate a/c config for Lufthansa Cargo's 777Fs. So for those who feel adressed, it would be nice if you can share your input. Best regards,
  9. John, being from Munich, I can't start working on an airplane supporting Borussia Dortmund. Seriously, I'd love to do Turkish Airlines' logojets and the base livery, especially with the release of Taxi2Gate's Istanbul scenery, but I am slowly fading out of doing repaints and have a feeling that already enough Turkish Airlines' repaints are available. But for an accurate aircraft config file I am all in. Oh...and I am afraid of those curved lines stretching around the fuselage... :excl: Colin, the black engines and tail indicate that atleast one textures is missing which is located in the base file. A few checks you can do to make sure that everythings is as it's meant to be. Go to ...\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes\PMDG 737-800NGX WL\Texture.RYR and see if 21 files (not less) are located there. Especially look for pmdg_737NGX_tail.dds . If the folder doesn't exist make sure to reinstall the base file, PMDG_737NGX_800WL_RYR.ptp and check that the installation is free of any errors. Go to ...\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes\PMDG 737-800NGX WL\Texture.RYR6 and see if a file called texture.cfg is in there. Open it with any text editor and see if it's set up like this: [fltsim] fallback.1=..\texture.RYR fallback.2=..\..\PMDG 737-800NGX\texture.vc fallback.3=..\..\PMDG 737-800NGX\texture.common fallback.4=..\..\..\..\Scenery\Global\texture fallback.5=..\..\..\..\texture If everything is fine, I could only advice to uninstall any of my RYANAIR repaints and to re-download them from this website: texturesinc.wordpress.com and install them again with the Livery Manager. A brief update on my Ryanair repaints, I have added EI-EVF saying 'Modlin Jest OK!'. A rather simply looking Ryanair logojet but there might be people who are interested in this one. Generally you can get an overview, downloads and news about my repaints on this blog I have set up: texturesinc.wordpress.com . Best regards,
  10. Great work Bogdan! Good to see that you got those cockpit textures done and the externals too. Just a tiny littler flaw I spotted is the 'EMERGENCY' sticker below the captain's side cockpit window. This one doesn't exist on the real 737 NG, it's only on the first officer side. This error comes with PMDG's paintkit ... unfortunately. Keep it up!
  11. Great work so far Peter. I am looking forward to this and it's good to see you painting again. The gradient of the ribbon looks pretty good in my eyes. I bet it took you some time to get these done properly. Take all the time off you need after you have finished these. As long as you come back again for sure. Best regards,
  12. Thank you William! John, I saw that EI-DCL went to the paintshop and had a little hope for a revised livery. Someone passed me an image of the new livery yesterday. So here is what I have come up with so far. I like the grey stripes and gradients and that they kept the common Ryanair tail. Let's see which other 737 operators come up with a similiar paint scheme. By the way, I have started a blog to list all my repaints and make the download a bit easier. This is its address: texturesinc.wordpress.com Best regards,
  13. Jason, you are welcome. I have started working too much on those paints again for the time being and it's something I need to close down a bit more for personal reasons. I hope you can understand that I won't start with a United and AIgerie fleet. But trust me, I'd love if things would look more bright from my standpoint. William, as mentioned above, I am standing at a crossroad at the moment and it doesn't look like I'll go the way for more repaints in the future. Other painters seem to be able to release paints for the 777 in a pace I can't even follow ... . Cristiano, thanks! I have actually added these decals to all my older and new Ryanair repaints for now. Just make sure to download the new files, uploaded today. Thanks for the comments!
  14. And I am about to add another Ryanair repaint, EI-DYT. I like the idea of those Beachballs.
  15. One last attempt to improve my Ryanair repaints ... from a cockpit point of view. Both decals are handdrawn, I have only a used a photo of those as reference. The next step is to add these decals step by step to my other Ryanair repaints.
  16. TUIfly (TUI/X3) has pretty much accurate configs, even aircraft registration specific (except D-ATUM). But only as far as options are offered by PMDG. I was told my airberlin config is pretty close but I actually don't have any official source for it, although I'd love to have one (hint).
  17. Thanks John. Seriously? I don't have much issues reducing the dirt, but who knows how the bird looks in a few days, weeks, months, years ... ? I'll have a look at the different layers. Indeed a shame. Good luck for STR!! The Dynamic Wave Design looks good in my eyes but it suits Thomson and Jetairfly a bit better in my eyes. The canary-yellow aircraft looked very nice and had a unique look. Well, good bye! Sebastian, if you'd care to read the whole topic or atleast the very first post you could easily where to download these paints, but as a little reminder: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/ppigbvua6ssbfn9/d2Qa835j26 Enjoy it!
  18. Today TUIfly Germany has received a brand new Boeing 737-800, the first German TUI 737 sporting the dynamic wave design. As the news state the whole TUI fleet is meant to be painted in this common design over the time. It looks pretty good, but it's sad to see the canary-yellow vanish from the blue skies. I have uploaded the new TUIfly repaint to my dropbox, but I am still missing the SELCAL on the registration plate of the virtual cockpit. I'll update this as soon as I get the necessary letters together. Another note, I have added a lot of Norwegian's latest 737-800s, still missing a few but I am on par again. Best regards,
  19. Sounds like a plan to me. I'll try to help you when you have finished your exams. Good luck for them!! :-) A brief note, I have added Ryanair's EI-ENS to the repaints. This one is promoting the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region. Thanks to Steve (G-CIVA) for the assistance. My 15th Ryanair repaint so far.
  20. Thanks guys. It's probably a tad too much of the HUD, but that device is so nice to handle and PMDG has done a stunning rendition of it. Which I have thought needs some showcasing.
  21. Thanks for the feedback! Bogdan, have you tried doing those stickers by yourself yet? I'd be willing to assist you or give it a try myself, as far as I can. But I am not sure if I am doing a UIA 737 repaint from scratch, unless you and/or more people can convince me to do it. The AAL repaint has shown me again how much adjusting - cut-and-pasting - converting - checking and the same process over again it needs to get it done properly. The curved lines along the different sections (top - fuselage - bottom) on UIA's livery don't look to promising for me. And this really discourages me from doing some repaints, simply because it takes tons of time moving one pixel per pixel. In addition to that, have you checked that the following folder exists? \Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes\PMDG 737-800NGX WL\Texture.RYR and contains this file: pmdg_737NGX_tail.ddds ? The error you are reporting sounds much like you are still missing the base file. In the worst case try uninstalling all my Ryanair repaints, download the latest files from my dropbox and install these again. I hope that helps.
  22. Hi folks, I haven't done this for quite some time but today I took the plunge and flew a fantastic flight from Anchorge Int'l (PANC) to Juneau Int'l (PAJN) with the fabulous PMDG 737 NGX. After a successful engine start of our today's aircraft N617AS we are taxiing out to runway 33 for an early 8:05 am departure as Alaska Airlines 62. Lined up with runway 33, heads-up display down and advancing the throttles. Gear up and we are leaving Anchorage Int'l airport below us. NOEND1 departure is leading us to the north, then east and finally on a southern course. What a great name for a SID. Still dark outside but the sun is slowly rising. I really love those HUD operations. A bit later and further - the sun at its full glory and cruising along the coastline of Southern Alaska. Not only the sun looks stunning, so does the open sea. N617AS from a different perspective. Descending into Juneau. Fantastuc view on Alaska's mountains covered by snow. One of a few clouds our 737 soars through on approach to Juneau. On finals for runway 08. Excuse the high vertical speed I haven't used the HUD for visuals for some time. The lead-in lightning system guides us the way in. Not really necessary in such good and clear weather conditions. Last shot, while taxiing to the gate. Well thanks for viewing and comments welcome. Best regards,
  23. Thanks you John and William. I have made a few more changes respectively some fine tuning. Here are the latest shots of N908NN:
  24. Thank you John for providing the link. Simen, that's exactly the link where you can download the Scandinavian Airines liveries. Another livery I am working on, which is also request of another forum member: So far I am using the configuration which PMDG provides with its repaint but if somebody has more info on that aircraft feel free to drop me a note. I really like the new tail artwork of American Airlines. The halftone pattern adds something nice to it. Comments welcome! You can download Mr. Albert Ballin - Hapag-Lloyd Kreuzflug here: http://img5.fotos-hochladen.net/uploads/2014271919hjtusofbr7.jpg It's the file called PMDG_737NGX_800WL_TUI7.ptp also make sure to download PMDG_737NGX_800WL_TUI.ptp, this one is need for few TUifly specific items. Best regards,
  25. Thanks guys! Well and I'd probably need three more to paint and fly all the aircraft I have got on my mind or got a request for. Thanks Bogdan. That aircraft just got freshly painted, so not too much of it is old-school to me. But some colours and logos remind me of older times. On a side note, HLX was a different story I'd rather say it refers to HLF.
