  1. Okay I understand. You seem to work on it, but there are still some issues to solve. Thank you. Hope dies last....
  2. At least a word about the future plans regarding P3Dv5. Thank you Sir. However, can we trust it? I have the intention to buy all P3Dv5 compatible aircraft from MilViz. Or, maybe not?😉
  3. This was a post in the MilViz forums on July, 15th by SnuffyTheMongoose. NO relevant news on this topic since then. I am sorry that I take your words seriously. My decision upon future purchases will depend on how you handle the P3Dv5 topic.
  4. There is nothing wrong to support MSFS. What about the promised P3Dv5 updates? You promised to make new installer for free and PBR as a payware update. Still waiting. All MilViz aircraft are grounded. Awaiting the updates.
  5. Just some remarks. The i5 2500K has a nominal speed of 3.3GHz not 3.4GHz. If you go for the i5, you should consider to buy the newer i5 2550K which has 3.4Ghz. From what people say here in the forums, I learned that HT doesn't give you any advantage in FSX. Some people even suggest to disable HT. So you should save your money. I bought myself an i5 2500K and a GTX480 and I am really happy with it.
  6. Problem solved. @ pete_auauThank you for pointing me to the right direction (again). After fiddelling around with the file attributes the problem was solved. I was sure that I had removed the read-only flag, but after checking it again I found it set. Strange. Now the livery manager works with all variants without the need to run it as administrator. I also found that selecting multiple entries with shift or ctrl key makes no difference, in my case.
  7. Hi Blitzer, I restored the original aircraft.cfg from the aircraft.cfg_old file, deleted all texture.xx dirs and the .ini files mentioned in the introduction. In my case it has nothing to do with the method of selection. I tried both, CTRL and SHIFT. The problem exists even if I try to add liveries one by one. (Read my post again, please.) and, as already mentioned it fails only for the -800WL variant.Thank you for your help. Rainer Oberst
  8. I'm also having problems adding more than one livery for the -800WL variant. When I select more than one livery, they will be added without an error message, but when finished, the list of installed liveries is empty (except for the PMDG livery). The texture subdirectories of the installed liveries are present in the PMDG 737-800NGX WL folder, but when I open the aircraft.cfg file there is only one new entry in it [fltsim.2] which contains the last livery installed. [fltsim.1] is missing. This only happens with the -800WL, with other variants it works fine. I tried Blitzers instructions, but it makes no difference. It also doesn't work properly when trying to add the new liveries one by one. The first one installs ok and appears in the list, when I add a second one, the first one disappears from the list and thats it. Otherwise a fantastic product, I'm really happy with it. Rainer Oberst
  9. Ok, I just checked it out and I noticed that when making a left turn the front wheels turn left but the main gear turns right!!! Is that the correct way? Maybe I'm too stupid but I expected both wheels to turns in the same direction, left in this caseI use W7/64Bit with FSUIPC 4.53 (not registered) and FSX/Accel, autorudder off.Rainer OberstEDDL
  10. Yes, I can confirm it. The wing itself is not visible, only the lights (picture shows -8F).Otherwise it is a great addon. Thank you PMDG!!!Rainer OberstEDDL
  11. The tutorial is also available here http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=98097 including the required files (flight plan, weather, panel state...) that are mentioned in the tutorial. So no need to register at Scribd if you already have a Avsim account.Rainer OberstEDDL
  12. Hi Michael, what exactly is the problem with the liveries? The installer does not run properly or the liveries don't appear?I just installed a couple of liveries (GE_AM, GE_LH, PW_DL3, GEF_SUF, PWF-5XF) without any problems using W7 x64 Ultimate. I don't think that there is a problem with the installers. I just started them with UAC set to "Always notify". When I start an installer, I receive the UAC warning dialog "Dow you want to allow....", after confirming it the normal installer dialog appears. Be sure that the installer points to the proper location of your FS9 installation. In my case it is "D:\Games\FS2004". After finishing the installer, the aircraft liveries show up in FS2004.If you have further details or questions, or when you want me to test something let me know.Good luck.Rainer OberstEDDL
  13. Personally I really don't care if the MD-11 for FS9 is delivered now or in a few weeks. I already bought the combo and are still busy with studying the manuals. However, I think that PMDG has made a small mistake in comunications.Robert himself made the following statement in another thread on Dec., 19th."The PMDG MD-11 for FS9 is about to "go gold" which means you don't have much longer to wait."Unfortunately since than there was no more word from the developers. I mean, PMDG should not wonder that, after such a statement, the expectation level is high. Of course there is nothing said about a chrismas release.I would highly appreciate a word from the developers, that does not need to be a release date. However a status update would be nice and calm down the crowd.Rainer Oberst
  14. However, to install the PMDG 747 you will always need an active internet connection. I don't think that you will be able to install the packages when for some reason the PMDG server is down.PMDG please correct me if I'm wrong.Don't know about the CD version.Rainer
  15. The proper link to Lefteris new company is www.flightsimlabs.com. The Concorde will be the first aircraft that FSL will release. That is because the owner of SSTSim, Andrew Wilson, has joined FSL. As far as I understood, Lefteris will continue to work with PMDG unless all planned projects for FSX are completed, at least.Rainer
  16. Hi Richard,a simple whois shows the following information for the PSS domain:"[...]Registration status:Renewal required.*** This registration has been SUSPENDED. ***[...]"Sorry for destroying your hopes here.Rainer
  17. Hi All,I would like to add that this is not only limited to the PIC 737. It also happened to me after installing the WILCO/FEELTHERE Citation X.At least I found my DLL.XML file corrupted after installing this product.RegardsRainer
  18. Best wishes to you Norman. Take your time to recover. I hope you will be ok soon.Kind RegardsRainer(located close to EDDL)
  19. >The funniest part is that IF someone does have a pirated copy>and they KNOW that installing the fuel planner is going to>screw with it why would those people even install it?Yep, that is why I think the editors will be part of a major update which requires the development of a new installer and new and/or updated features and fixes. That takes time. But why does PSS not just announce that to the customers??? Most people would be more patiently waiting when knowing that PSS is preparing a big X-mas package ;-)(pure speculation of course). But all in all they forget something very important:The biggest argument for buying a product is GOOD SUPPORT and not frustrating and ignoring customers which already have paid for an incomplete product.Happy flyingRainer(located close to EDDL)
  20. Clear statement from a PSS757 owner:Don't buy unless PSS releases promissed fuel/load editor!!!Or wait for the boxed version, that hopefully will contain the utilities, when it will ever be released. ;-)Otherwise I can highly recommend the product.Rainer(located close to EDDL)
  21. Hi All,as a loyal customer who bought almost all PSS products it really hurts to see how PSS behaves in this case. So I feel I can not longer be quiet ;-)Just to summarize what happend during the last months, as far as I remember. After the release in August there was a statement from PSS that the load editor was ready but removed from the package due to a small issue that has been found just before release. They promised to deliver it as soon as this has been fixed. After a few weeks Norman makes a bad internet connection to Malta responsible for the delay. Anybody from Malta here in this forum? Norman, can you please confirm that Malta is still offline since September? Than another reason for the delay has been mentioned: software piracy!Ok, as a guy who lives from developing software I understand that this is an issue for PSS. But this is an issue for all companies that sell software, even outside the FS community. There are different approaches to overcome this problem, but at least sooner or later all kind of copy protections can and will be hacked. It is just a matter of time. So the only way to avoid this is not to publish anything at all.I understand that PSS needs more time to find a solution for this problem. I think that is not the point. What really hurts is how PSS treats their loyal customers. Instead of giving a clear statemant what is the master plan, they started to delete forum threads!! I'm not asking for release dates and nobody did that. We just would like to know what happens behind the scene. Let's say PSS is preparing another service pack that fixes some open minor issues with the 757 and the fuel/load editor will be part of that update, why don't you just say that? Or will it be part of the FSX upgrade that might be under development, why you just say that? If you say it will take a couple of months for that reason or annother, it is ok. I Have no problem with that.Instead it seems that PSS is trying to make the fuel/load editor forgotten, by deleting the posts that mention it.I am really, really disappointed and frustrated. And I think there is a clear statement needed by Graham to close that topic once and for all.So it is up to you PSS, take action. If you give a s*** on your customers opinion, feel free to continue to delete postings. That is a statement as well. Sorry, I don't want to sound rude, but enough is enough.Happy flyingRainer(located close to EDDL)
  22. Remark:Sorry, I mentFind section {fltsim.4}Rainer
  23. Hi Gerry, the Condor texture is included in the downloads. You will find it in folder aircraftPSS-B753Rtexture.cfg.However the aircraft configs are still buggy. The Condor livery is included as 'JMC' that's why you don't see it in the list. There are to 'JMC' entries. Change the following line in the file aircraft.cfg inside the mentioned folder.Find section [fltsim.4]Change line ui_variation=JMCtoui_variation=CondorDon't forget to backup the original file before you change it. Just in case ;-)You will find the Condor livery in "Boeing-PSS757-300 Rolls Royce Engines".Rainer
  24. Seems to be an issue even with the final release version. I can't exceed 0.807 mach at FL330. Can anybody confirm?Rainer
