  1. I'd love STS. I enjoyed the orbx rendition from past sims. I'd also love an Orbx RDD and O85 just like the good ole days. I always flew my Realair legacy into O85.
  2. You might have a sauras if you sit too long flying it hahaha
  3. Yeah I noticed the same but I think the skylane is kinda like that? I guess irl you can quickly move your head down a little to look under the wing.
  4. I made another paint today....reminded me how much I don't like doing this one... Apparently I sat in this one about 8 years ago in Duluth when I used to work there Untitled-1 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr Untitled-6 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr https://flightsim.to/file/72718/n28jg-for-cirrus-s22t-g6 @JYW send me a PM and ill make a UK reg for you... I forgot you had asked. I could do either the blue from 980RJ or this 28JG
  5. What is your monitor resolution? At 1080p you won't notice a difference until you use frame generation. But if you have a junkier old monitor it might flicker. You really want to have a 1440p or 2160p monitor with gysnc support to use FG. Also make sure when you use FG that you're NOT using the MSFS developer fps counter... that wont show the AI frames... you need like MSI afterburner or nvidia overlay.
  6. Lancair Legacy (LEG2) 'Fastest piston single' Let's hope Black Square dazzles us with one some day! leg2 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr
  7. Some would say that..... some enjoy it for the price!
  8. Unfortunately I don't use that. Is that SimBrief? I enter all of my flight plans manually.
  9. The HUD is an option that very few C700's have... I just saw a pic of a new delivery that actually had a HUD... but they are rare. I think I read though that an operable HUD may come to the sim version though. Textron is very protective of their documentation... I'm sure there's some stuff somewhere.
  10. The Longitude is definitely more advanced than the CJ4. Though I also enjoy the CJ4.
  11. What?! The Longitude is one of the most advanced bizjets in any sim. It's got advanced systems and especially avionics. The only bizjet I can think of that has higher fidelity systems and avionics is the Challenger in XP11/12.
  12. I thought you're talking about the Aerobask Eclipse jet 🙂 Maybe there will be an xp12 version someday...
  13. It's fine for 15 bucks. I did a cool paint for it haha. There's also some really nice ones like the Millenium Phenom N100FZ paint from whiskey throttle It's fairly basic... sounds are okay. I'd say its similar to a carenado.
  14. Liveries with red..... the best haha!
  15. Speed. The 900 is a bit quicker. 210 ktas compared to the 174 of tht Kodiak 100.
  16. I've read that some PC12 pilots say its not okay. The problem is though, that many of our "flight controls" don't have the amount of travel the real PC12 yoke/pedals have. Then you have curves for the peripherals... I never touch those.. devs should always start designing with default curves in mind. What sort of controls do you have? I don't have the high end yoke or pedals... just a classic Microsoft ffb2 stick with saitek combat pedals. They're a little noisy but they tend to work well. On the beech I fly irl, the rigging isn't quite perfect, so there can be little yaw moments as you work the controls down final in a stiff crosswind. I find that realistic but what I experience in the PC12 is nothing like that.... it's more like what Bdub described. I'm talking a small crosswind here... like 10 knot direct in the sim. If you have an even higher crosswind the PC12 is like a bucking bronco.
  17. Yeah. Flight model can be tricky in MSFS... I think it's always been sort of magic that devs can do a nice job, and MSFS is still fairly new compared to FSX etc. I would like to acknowledge that SWS does a good job communicating the issue but there's a pilot on their discord who basically told me I was a moron on day 1 when I reported the issue. He thinks he's hot stuff cause he flies a PC12. Oddly enough the Beech I fly also has a aileron/rudder interconnect 🙂 But. hey, what do I know?
  18. In a nutshell, the real plane has an aileron/rudder interconnect. And the way it flies in the sim is not great. I need tons of rudder in level flight. And during landing, even with proper rudder trim, it's basically impossible to land in a crosswind without yawing/bouncing all over the place. I'm certain SWS will make it right, I think they're also waiting on SU15 like other companies. Aside from the rudder issue, the plane is really nice - great sounds, nice avionics and systems etc.
  19. With their newer models yes it's a lot better .. although I'm painting in 3d now (using Adobe substance painter). Though some of their planes have mirrored textures like this skylane hehe. Some of these newer addons are impossible to paint with the old 2d Photoshop/GIMP techniques. For instance the new Cirrus G6 has around 90 total exterior dds textures if you're making metallic paints. And you HAVE to paint with 3d like blender or substance. It's been a learning curve but Tim and I sort of fought through blender and moved to substance - we sort of "egg each other on" and paint the same planes hehe.
  20. I love working the 787 in the air traffic environment... its so fast 🙂 Faster to get out of my sector haha
  21. If you just go to the 182 category you can see me and Tim's latest. All of those are compatible with the charts and have the new turbo logic https://flightsim.to/liveries/cessna-182/
  22. I agree, the shot will look very different on different monitors. For instance the original shot, looks fabulous, except the colors are far too cool (too blue) on my monitor. I actually touched it up to what I deem more realistic but there's no point in showing it because my monitor may look different than the next users.
