  1. I should have waited but I didn't. I went ahead and bought the iFly 737. It was $55 waisted for me. I didn't like it, I uninsulated it and will probably never install it again. What didn't I like? I didn't like the looks of it. It was short and stubby and had a bad color. I also did not like the look of the VC as I fly with 4 monitors the VC is a deal breaker. The small narrow front window was not to my liking and I didn't like the look of the overhead in the main VC view. The switches were oversized, streached and blurry. Everyone has an opinion and mine is it cann't touch the LVLD-767. :( jerrycwo4
  2. Been reading about the iFly 737NG and was wondering if it has replaced the LVLD 767 as the top airliner for FS2004? I have been flying the LVLD 767 for years and dont see how any other aircraft could be more realistic. Your opinion please. Thanks jerrycwo4
  3. Sometimes when flying with FDC Active Cotpit and RC4 the info in the "FSUIPC Displays" disappears. Is there a key stroke to bring it back? Thanks jerrycwo4
  4. The other day I updated FSUIPC from version 3.750 to version 3.98A. Afterwards my red brake messase at the bottom left of my screen was 1/2 gone. I could only see the top 1/2 of the message. How do I move the message up so that I can see all of it again? Thanks jerrycwo4
  5. Thanks you so much for the info on the up-date. I had never heard of an "interm" update. I had been sucessfully flying with FSUIPS version 3.75 and I now use a "if it ant broke downt fix it" method, that's the version I had been using, OK. I did download the new version, 3.98 with an "interm update. I'll give those a try and see if it fixes my latest error. I do use the registered versions. Thanks again. jerrycwo4
  6. The last few flights I have had a new "error" appearing at the end or near the end of a flight. I'm flying the LVLD B-767 with RD4 and Flight Deck Companion Active Cockpit. When this error appears the info in the RD4 (or FSUIPC Display) window disapears. I can minimise and find this error on my desktop : "FSUIPC- Wait, cannt get D0008 to change from 3550442 always 3550442."I think I remember that on differant flights the numbers in the message change. What does this error message mean? What do the numbers mean?Is there a way to fix this problem? How?Thanks jerrycwo4
  7. I'm assuming by what you said that you have successfully transfered this aircraft to FSX. I will defiantly try it. I did find a so-so FREE B-1900 here on Avsim that was pretty good for a freebie but it could not match the quality of the PMDG Express B 1900. jerrycwo4
  8. This is my favorite aircraft for Fs2004. Is there a version of this aircraft for FSX? If so where can I get it? Thanks jerrycwo4
  9. Here's another way to "lock in" a side view. Here's the way I do it. To normally view, say the right hand view when your in the cockpit view you simply press the #6 (on keypad) with the NUMBER LOCK on. When you let up on the #6 key the right hand view returns to the straight ahead cockpit view...... but if while you are holding DOWN the #6 key, and keep holding it DOWN you then reach over and key(turn off) the number lock key, the right hand view will be locked into place. I cannt remember exactly how to reverse or undo this but I think you just turn the Number lock key back on. jerrycwo4
  10. Sometimes near the end of a flight I receive a OOM error and the flight stops. I fly heavies with FS2004, RC4 and FDC Live cotpit. I also (throught FSUIPC) save a flight every 5 minutes. I can restart FS2004 with the "saved flight" and also restart FDC but I can not figgure out how to "restart" RC4 in mid flight. Is it possibe and if so how do you do it? Thanks jerrycwo4

  12. Thanks Chuck... I was reading the PAPER instruction book. I'll try the PDF one. Just the same, do you know how to set the DEPARTURE time? Thanks jerrycwo4
  13. You didn't say what GPS was hanging up. I had a "moving map GPS" on a computer that was connected to the internet by a wireless router and it would "hang" up about every minute or so. I connected the same computer to the internet (hardwired) with a cat 5 cable and the hang-ups went away. jerrycwo4
  14. I know this isn't the correct forum, but I cannt find the Flight Deck Compannion Live Cockpit form????? The book says its under: Commercial support forum hosted by Avsim, but I cann't find it. Anyone know where it is??Someone here might know my answer. In Fs2004 using FDC Live Cockpit:"I know that I have missed it, but I've looked and looked and I can not find it. I have been working off and on for three weeks trying to get this new FDC Live Cotpit set up. There are about 40 different announcements that I want to use. At first I was going to setup every thing manually but then I saw on the "startup" window of FDC were setting where that you could enter the DEPARTURE, BOARDING and 1st ANNOUNCEMENT times....... but HOW and WHERE ?"I cannt figgure it out by myself and I can not find the instructions on how to set it up.I'm trying to start cold at the gate in the LVLD-767-300. I'd like to be able to set the boarding and departure times, key the call, "attendant, seat the cabin", then have the "boarding sounds" start and then proceed with my check lists.Would someone please tell me either / or lead me to the instructions on how to do this. Thanks for your help.

  16. Is this the correct forum to get support for Aerosoft's FDC Live Cotpit? Thanks jerrycwo4
  17. I'm starting a 2nd "thread" on this because this reply might get lost at the bottom of the 1st thread I wrote a couple of days ago. I'll take the blame. On re-reading my first post I did NOT mention that my new OS system WAS Windows 7(64 bit) and not Windows XP (not on my new computer anyway). If I tell you that it is a duel boot system ( which it is) that will just cloud the issue. My new computer was custom made and it was made to run FS2004 and FSX on Windows 7 (64 bit) and not Windows XP. I have been, without much luck, trying to understand all of this "memory" stuff for years but it just doesn't seem to sink in.I think most of the answers and advise that you guys spent time giving me a few days ago was for a system running Windows XP. Now it's Windows 7 (64bit). So now with Windows 7 (64 bit), am I still open to be able to receive OOM errors ?( I did, twice) Is there any fix for this problem with Windows 7 (64) or do I just have to live with it? As I said before I loved what UT 2004 did for my scenery BUT my 1st ever OOM error came after installing UT 2004 after flying without it for about 8 years!!! Thanks for your help. jerrycwo4
  18. I'm really disappointed that on my new computer with 12 Gigabits of RAM that I still am getting OOM error mgs on a 1 1/2 hour flight? I did get these OOM error mgs on an older computer with 4 GB RAM, BUT why would I still get them with 3 TIMES more memory, 12 GB ????? Thanks jerrycwo4
  19. I have a new computer running Windows 7 and I am running FS2004. I installed FDC Live Cotpit 3.8.3 (updated to v 3.14) and Radar Contact4 (ver4.3). I can run each of the programs by themselfs and they run very soomth. If I try to run BOTH programs togather I have problems with lockups, black windows, windows slow to "come up" and other problems. I have these two programs running well on another computer running Windows XP. Can anyone advise me as to what the problem is running them togather on my new computer CPU 4.0 GHz and 12 GB of ram. Thanks jerrycwo4
  20. I thought that was where it was, BUT I change the value from 400 to 2..... and it didn't seem to slow it down like it did on another computer. Any ideas why? jerrycwo4
  21. I hope someone can reply to this. I had the "upscaled" (purchased) KSEA and KPDX installed and then I installed UT USA and had all kinds of troubles with double coastlines and streets running into the water. I really liked what UT did for FS2004 but not for all of the "scenery" problems it caused. I have a new computer and I'm holding off installing UT USA because of the double coastlines and streets in water problem. I know there are a few "upgrades/fixes" at the UT website but I do not know if they would fix these given problems. jerrycwo4
  22. "to pass on a few pointers "That's really a BROAD request. What, specificly are you looking for? jerrycwo4
  23. My panning speed from the yoke hatswitch is too fast and I forgot where it is and how to change it. Would someone please remind me. Thanks jerrycwo4
  24. After a week of "TWEEKING" I finally got LVLD-767 to fly fairly well. I have a new 4 monitor, very complex Flight Sim computer which is the fastest that money can buy ( within reason). It does have some tempory lock-ups with are quick to fix (minimize and return to FS2004) and I guess that I'll have to live with that but the clairity and sharpness of my 4 monitors are breathtaking ! After 12 years of flight simming I finnally reach the true "It's as good as it gets". I have not set up my FSX as yet. Still working on FS2004I'm sorry that I cann't tell the exact thing that I did to get rid of the black screens but I think the main thing I did was to use "system restore" to go back two days before trying to install and old version of Flight Deck Companion that didn't work propery. I don't get the BLACK SCREENS any more. Thanks to all who tried to help. jerrycwo4
