Hi everyone, Can someone please help me on how to make the sony dualshock 3 work with windows 10,for msfs 2020. I found one of these in the house from my son's childhood collection. I have a the logitech 3 joystick-I just want the option of extra buttons. In the hardware set up it shows up but none of the buttons give a response. When I load up the the planes from the list I do not see the new GPS -I still see the generic GPS that comes as standard. Can you please advise how to activate it in the C172. Many thanks in advance. The reviews on the fulcrum are very promising but I am not sure how it compares with the honeycomb alpha. Any members who had the alpha and have switched over to the fulcrum. Ray, many thanks for the link. I don't have a big budget,a retiree...lol. The card was a reluctant birthday present from kids who want their dad to grow up! They all look great. The 32'' range looks appealing ,especially the SAMSUNG U32R592 and BenQ EW3270U . Stock seems to big issue ,amazon saying 1-2 months. hi everyone Luckily the LG 35WN65C-B 35" had gone out stock by the time my order got processed. Reading the advice from everybody I have definitely decided on a 4K monitor. I am happy with anything above 32''. Is there any particularly good one. Many thank. Qas

Hi Everyone Once again many thanks for all your comments. I decided against the TV, I tried playing msfs on the family 4k TV. Although the image quality was outstanding,the text in other programs was not very clear. The font size needs to be 300% for perfection.This makes everything too big. Anything less was blurry. I have ordered the LG 35WN65C-B 35" IPS UWQHD Free Sync Monitor. I should get it within next few days,I hope. I will share my thoughts on it with you guys next few weeks. All the best . Qas

Hi Everyone Many thanks for all your comments and advise. Tektolnes- The dell was excellent, it had excellent clarity and so much space...just brilliant. No issues with sims. I am tempted to get a 32 inch 4K TV-desk space is big issue for me, I have to hang them on wall. Any thoughts on how does msfs2020 run on a 4k tv- Many people say TV's are not very good for simming. If I decide to get a monitor than it will be the Viewsonic 32" 4K. many thanks gain. Qas

Hi Everyone, I have been lucky to get the above card recently . Can fellow simmers please advise the best monitor for this type of card. I had the dell U3818DW from work ,it needs to go back due to covid crisis. Google search recommends LG 34GN850-B. This is a 34'' monitor at 1440p. I will be grateful for you comments on this or any other recommendations. Are 4K monitors any good for msfs2020. I mostly play msfs2020. Many thanks . Qas

Hi everyone I managed to get this few days ago. Anybody having problems with the throttle 1 attachment for jets. The reverse and the red button on selector 1 do not seem to work. I have checked on windows and I get No response in windows hardware detector. I have tried swapping the positions...attachment 1 on other positions and another attachment, 2, on position 1. It seems the reverser and the red button are dead. I have contacted both the supplier and Honeycomb. Also can somebody please advise why is attachment 1 reverse spring loaded...on moving to reverse it has to jump a postion to reach full reverse. Looking forward to all help/suggestions. Qas

Hi I think the problem is somewhere else...Now it crashes with any controller connected. I have done a fresh windows and sim re install as well. The sim load up perfectly with just the mouse and key board connected. Other usb devices do not effect it.( mic, a usb battery charger, hard drive caddy) When ever a controller is connected the sim crashes at 50-60% loading, I have 3,a alpha yoke, standard joy stick , and the crosswind . I have trued every combination, one controller at a time. different usb ports. etc. I think its developed an allergy towards controllers. The only new thing that happened few days ago was ,I had ta problem with my OneDrive . it became full and I deleted the document folder saved inside it. This deleted all the document folder in on my pc and laptop. Because of this my p3dv4 ,and few other programs either stopped working or had problems. I did manage to recover the files from OneDrive bin and they are all working ok. Even if this had any impact, most likely not, I did the fresh windows and msfs2020 reinstall. At the moment I think I will just become a co pilot. Remove all controller. set up the flight and let AI fly.

Thank you for all the suggestions. My problem is with the controllers connected the sim does not load at all. I have tried different ports...I have USB hubs...I have removed these and plugged controllers directly. I have tried plugging only 1 controller at a time. I will try the system drivers update. The only thing I did before this started happening was i delete my one drive. I do not use onedrive...due to a silly issue ,I had to activate it...the crazy thing with onedrive is it copied all my files in the document folder. Without thinking i deleted this file in one drive...this deleted the main document folder on the pc too. I started having problems with many other things on the pc after this. Hence the fresh windows and sim reinstall. Does mfsf 2020 store any crucial files in my document folder? Qas

Hi everyone Just hoping somebody can help please. From yesterday the sim has stsrtrd crashing when the blue bar reaches about 50-60%. Everything stops and i go to the main screen...no messages. After trying everything...removing all controller one by one , deleting all addons it crashed at same point. Than I decided to do a fresh window 10 reinstall and fresh sim load with no addons...still the same. Just now I removed all the controllers and the sim has loaded perfectly-but I have no controllers. Has anybody experienced this. Otherwise it seems my days with msfs2020 have suddenly come to an end. Looking forward to all the help. Qas

Hi everyone I just got a set of these from ebay. On loading up ,msfs 2020 crashes at the point when it reaches the "World improvement" images , about 3/4 along the blue bar. The rudder seems to work -in window 10 controllers ,all axis respond perfectly. I have tried different usb ports. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks. qas

Hi Everyone I managed to get a Rrx 3090 directly from a retailer...at RRP. After running it for few days I must say it isn't what I had hoped for. At maximum setting in msfs 2020 I am only getting about 30 frames in high density areas on a 36'' 1080 monitor in cessna. Msi test run shows 100% gpu usage and about 25% cpu . I think I will selling it soon and going back to my good old 1080Ti and wait for the the 3080 ti. Qas
