Hi everyone I recently installed x plane 11. Although its a completely new beast-I am still having problems with key mapping. This was one reason I never used the previous versions. Can you please tell me how to assign key board commands for taxiway steering.I see the key board commands but its for only 1 key-i thought you need 2 keys-for left and right? I have a saitek quadrant and I have assigned one lever to tiller,but its very clumpy.either it over steers or under-nothing like p3d rudder steering. Or ideally is there a way of assigning rudder steering. I look forward to your help. Many thanks. Qas

many thanks guys- I am new to saitek hardware-I too had the yoke and the throttle freezing. i decide to plug them directly into the mother board usb port and luckily all is ok. qas adam

Hi everyone I think I have got win 10 to recognise my saitek set. Now I am having space issues. I was wondering, has anybody tried connecting the quadrant to a usb hub directly using the ps/2 adapter. I tried and it failed-the quadrant wasn't recognised. many thanks Qas Adam

Hi Can you please advise what are these two levers for ,next to speed brake lever. they do not move when trim is adjusted. I have saitek quadrant-if functional and needed can I set to quadrant lever? Many thanks for your help. Qas sorry cud not attach photo.

Many thanks for taking time to help. i have the yoke-quadrant set. I managed to find this tutorial. its excellent.very simple and precise. The only thing that isn't mentioned is that you need to play about with lever position until you know at what position each change takes place. Initially I thought this did not work -but when I moved the assigned lever slowly I got to know what position is needed for desired flap-I have maked these position with a marker pen. Hi everyone Sorry to bother you guys again. As you have probably guessed-I am new to the siatek yoke,i bought it few days and I am having hell of time to set it up . I am asking for help in how to set up the flap change in smooth sequential way. At the moment I have selected the right lever on the quadrant to flaps in P3dv3 setting. I I wasn't getting the proper change from 0-30 for PMDG 777. I have followed advise from here and u tube and changed sensitivity etc but no luck. I have tried using fsuipc too. I cannot find anything here that allows sequential change-just flaps like in p3dv3. Can somebody please point me to a tutorial that shows how to set up the lever to get sequential flap change from 0-30. As mentioned above,I sorry to keep asking here-please bear with me. Qas

Hi everyone can you please advise: 1 Will the Saitek extra Quadrant work independently of the saitek yoke and quadrant. 2 Does anyone have the extra saitek quadrant working in windows 10. My reason for asking is I have the CH fighterstick- I am very happy with it. I was looking to upgrade with the saitek extra quadrant. I bought both the yoke set and extra quadrant. The yoke and its quadrant work ok-after a lot of fiddling. The quadrant is not recognised by windows 10. I am thinking it could be faulty? I look forward to your advise. Thank you Qas

Thank you. My extra quadrant only works if plugged into the yoke? but the X and Y axis still not working. If the extra quadrant is plugged directly into the PC,should it work if the yoke is not connected to PC. Mine doesn't Sorry for all these issues?

Hi Thank you for the advise. I have done this. Windows 10 refuses to recognize the yoke and the extra quadrant with no saitek drivers. Can you please advise -can the extra quadrant be used on its own-or does it have to be connected via the yoke usb. I have tried directly and it doesn't get picked up by win 10?

Hi everyone Few days ago I bought the saitek yoke set and an extra quadrant. I plugged the yoke in a usb power hub and connected the 2 quadrants to the yoke. I have installed the latest drivers from saitek web. On the 1st startup everything worked ok. The next day , The yoke's X Y axis have stopped working-all the buttons work. The extra quadrant is not recognised by windows and hence p3dv3.5. I have switched usb ports-even plugged in directly to pc port. The green light come on ,on the quadrant that comes with yoke. On the extra quadrant,it comes on for few seconds and goes out. I am running p3dv3.5 on windows 10,64bit. I was hoping to set up the 2 quadrants for jets. I am not sure where I am going wrong-I would be grateful for any solution please. Many thanks. Qas

Hi everyone Last week I had to move my p3dv3 to a bigger hard drive-used acronis software. After few tweaks most things are ok ,except when I tried to install an orbx airport. The orbx installer shows the p3dv3 on the previous hard. It does not give the option to browse. Can someone please suggest which file do I need to edit so the p3dv3 shows on the new hard drive. everything is the same on the new hard drive except the drive letter. I can try manually changing the drive letter-but I am worried it may causes problems for other soft wares. looking forward to all suggestions. many thanks. Qas

Many thanks to all for the replies. You are all right.I had made a mistake. After installing SP1, I had replaced the panel config from pre SP1 model-the old panel config had settings for DBS airport gauge. Hence the missing radar panel. Fresh SP1 install has sorted the radar panel. Now,lets see if I can remember how to set up the airport gauge to work in the T7. many thanks again. Qas

Thank you for the reply. I do get the radio panel. But,Its missing the radar bits at the bottom,it just shows the original layout,pre SP1. The weather radar works ok. Does SP1 automatically add the weather radar buttons etc to the radio panel or do we set them up via the CDU. I have looked but cannot find anything. Maybe fresh install of T7 will sort it. Qas
