The Minister of Silly Walks gives good advice. Stay clear of JF's Traffic Global EA as up till now its been all talk and no action.

We are trying to talk about our experience with Traffic Global. If as you state, you have not has the TG Early Access experience...well then.

We all have. Nothing but smoke and mirrors from Just Flight or the developer who tends to disappear for months at a time promising this and that by such and such.... It's pretty much a bad joke. How people are still buying into this really makes me question JFs ethics. So, fellow simmers, don't get suckered onto this so called early access. Until something solid regarding development is done, do not buy this. You have been alerted.

1) Don't have the QW 787 but FlightOne has been around forever and while the whole wrapper thing is clunky and annoying they are a reputable software add-on source. They also have a newish way to download and update software. See the site. 2) I do have both Latin VFR's KMIA and TJSJ and they are both good. 3) For a weather engine you can't beat Active Sky from HiFi Simulations. Had it for years and it is under constant development. Responsible developer. Question for you though. What prompts the paranoia? All of the above are experienced developer/publishers in the FS world. Welcome to this addictive hobby/sim. C

Regarding Traffic Global just be aware it has been and still is in early "early Access" one year after being released for public consumption. Lots of frustration there.

If only that were true. Facts are, updates are slow in coming and many things have still not been fixed that have been reported since the beginning. Liveries, messed up wings spans in cfg files, logos reversed or missing in the paints, AI sitting at the gates and never moving, sloppy errors as noted by many of us on the forum, oh, and the developer actually disappeared for 3 months with no feedback or communication for him or JF. The process is very disorganized since we never know what is allegedly being worked on so many duplicate reports confuse things even more. Really, Martyn, maybe if any of you ever visited the forum you might understand the frustration and exasperation that your customers have with such a chaotic and happenstance development schedule.

The TrafficGlobal for P3D/FSX from Just Flight which has been sold since May of 2018 as "early release" is still a complete mess. They now have the audacity to release the same nonsense for XPlane? BUYER BEWARE. Don't get suckered in. The forum to early release is closed unless you buy first. Wonder why?

GSX works at all FSDT by default and is required. That is to say, no extra charge for it at FSDT airports.😉 GSX2 is an addon and separate item.

If you go to the TG early access forum you will note the frustration of the participants as the developer has gone MIA. They really should stop selling TG until the situation is resolved. You can ask for a refund as well since development and communication is nil.

Long, long time user of MyTraffic so was looking for updated AI program do to Burkhard's unfortunate heath issues resulting in no development. Bought into the so called "Early Access" with TrafficGlobal in late July. Now, to me, early access means a post beta or semi-post beta level of readiness with engagement with the developer. Mind you, this was initially offered in June. It is now the beginning of November. So obviously this is a disappointingly slow process with the forum seemingly engaged by two guys (not from Just Flight) doing their best to answer questions given the minimal responses from the developer. That being said, I see great potential in the program. I think the models are terrific as is their sound. Scheduling aside, the vast amount of problems appears to be with users of Win7 so the development might be hampered with backwards compatibility to that OS. What does exist of GT works very well on my system. It just seems there is a lack of focus in bringing the program to fruition.

Screwed up my network as well, so you are not alone. I could not see anything wrong in my settings and the troubleshooter was useless. Could not connect to the internet at all. Finally I deleted the NIC (adapter), rebooted and it rebuilt with connectivity. Go figure.
