  1. Hi, Thanks for your work. I am downloading it now. It does look good.
  2. Hi, Interesting idea. I can remember seeing dust storms and dust devils right here in the USA. It would add realism to the new MSFS. However, the development team must be hard pressed just to come up with a useful, realistic flight sim this year and encompassing many of the ideas on the forum.
  3. The beautiful old biplane has been updated to XP11. This is freeware released by XPFR.
  4. Hi Tommy, Thanks for the info. Download 323.18 Mbps Upload 23.84 Mbps Southern New Jersey
  5. Hi ArchStanton, Thanks for taking the time to post the Wired article about MSFS2020. It was interesting, informative and well written.
  6. Hi, Looking at the skill and versatility of the development team, a drivable vehicle would be a piece of cake. In X-Plane there's a Canadian airport - CZST Stewart - where I drove around the village for the fun of it. And it was neat and added another dimension to the simulator.
  7. I'd like to see an occasional human being. The visuals of the new MSFS are stunning, but the absence of humans on the ground is startling. It reminds me of the movie "On The Beach" where streets are empty except for blowing trash after a nuclear war. Anyway, I see a lot of "wants" on these pages and good luck to the developers in accommodating some of them. I am pleased that Microsoft is getting back into flight simulation with gusto.
  8. K.I.S.S. I like the X-Plane approach to files. On the new MSFS, I'd like to see a comprehensive, yet friendly User Interface. The new MSFS sure has drummed up a lot of excitement in the flight simulator community. Make it great.
  9. I favor a modern, state of the art flight simulator. As for aircraft, the new sim should come with a variety of quality aircraft that satisfy the range of interest of most sim pilots to start. Anyway, these are interesting times. Good Luck to Microsoft and hoping they stick by their guns and get the job done right.
  10. Hi Nevian, I haven't flown it in a while. It was a nice flying bird and smooth. According to the .org it was updated 24 Apr 2019 and is on sale. One thing I like about the A350 is its general layout - a nice, well proportioned aircraft.
  11. fta2017 Thanks for the info. It looks really good. Orbyx - keep up the good work.
  12. olderndirt and others, Thanks for the mention of the sale. I bought the Southern Britain program as a result. I did a short hop out of Southampton EGHI in a Robin. The scenery was very well done and frame rates were better than expected - 45 fps. In tight turns I had some stutters. But, a good buy overall. Thanks again.
  13. Hi xxd09, I got the C172 mod download from PropStrike. I am not using the Simcoder program and it works fine. They do nice work on scenery as well. I think PS meant that if you already have the C172 Simcoder program it will work with their modified bush plane.
  14. Hi, I tried yesterday with rc3. A sim message said it wasn't supported - a beta thing. I flew it anyway and it crashed after several minutes.
  15. I can't find the Nimitz. Has it been removed? I have searched high and low - no joy. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
  16. I do not have P3D anymore. My focus is on XP11. I hope it will advance in features over time. This is an X-Plane forum so, I can't see muddling it up with P3D.
  17. Hi Parafin, Thanks for the tip on the helicopter handbook. I have had limited success so far. Your tips in general and the handbook should help a lot. Thanks.
  18. Hi VeryBumpy, Thanks for the videos that brought a smile to my face and reminded me of the good old days.
  19. Harransor/Aerobask, Many thanks for the generous gift and beautiful aircraft.
  20. Hi Nils, Thanks for the heads up. I was just flying the nhadrian modified C152 yesterday and was thinking what a nice piece of work. I got the latest update today and it is even better. Is he working on any other aircraft updates?
  21. Follow up. I tried Full Screen with the box checked for "Show location of pointer...." and it worked fine - no disappearing pointer.
  22. Hi N1125Y, You might try - Settings - Mouse - Additional Mouse Settings - Mouse Properties - Pointer Options - Show location of pointer when I press the CTRL key (and check). I haven't tried this myself. I just went back to the Window Mode. Good luck.
  23. I agree with jt8d9a. nhadrian must have put a lot of time into this upgrade. It works very well in XP11. It's nice to pull the C152 out of the hangar for some fresh air. Thanks also to Carenado for cooperating in his work. I hope that many of my other languishing XP10 aircraft find talented people for XP11 compatibility.
