  1. Hi just a quick bug report, the DME page 2 of the VRi hardware, when you switch to DME 2 it actually adjusts the CRS of DME 1.
  2. Hi I bought the CDU and Overhead licence for the PMDG 737 NGXu and I am very impressed how well it works and its certainly a lot cheaper that the £1400 overhead panel from VRinsight I had a few years back (sold it). I really don't have any problems with anything, but I have noticed one thing so far and that is that the Air Temp gauge on the overhead is stuck at 80c and doesn't move much regardless which position I have the selector switch in. The gauge in the NGXu itself is showing around the 22c mark.
  3. No worries, I wont get time to test it now till the morning anyway 👍
  4. Just a minor point but the readme file still mentions 1.1 so when you import Linda thinks its 1.1 still. I know it probably makes no difference but though I'd just mention it.
  5. Lol, nice work. Who's online all the time now?
  6. Nice, looking forward to the update. I've noticed also that the ground options section, like connecting the GPU and Air doesn't work either.
  7. The Recall button doesn't work, it seems to get stuck in the pressed state, i.e. how you test the lights behind the button. While pressed they should all light and then go out after release, as long as they aren't still in a caution state. For me though If I press it through Linda it stays stuck in the test state even though the actual animation shows it being released.
  8. It's more likely its something I did wrong, but it's working now, so thanks again for all the hard work you folk do with Linda, the hobby just wouldn't be as good without you.
  9. OK now its working, I deleted the old NGX profile and the new NGXu profile, then imported a fresh download of the module. I also didn't not copy across my settings, previously you mentioned that this would be ok, but perhaps its not.
  10. I'm currently using the Airbus FCU, but I have both the MCP1 and 2. My MCP2 is C.rap the encoders are buggy. I had a new board put in my MCP1 and that is much better, but I still have my FCU bolted into my cockpit at the moment. I'll try what you suggested above first and then dig out the MCP1 later.
  11. No it’s not just you Phil there are a lot of problems I’m having with it as well . Even simple stuff like Autothrottle toggle doesn’t work on my FCU panel. Another example is the strobe steady switch, it won’t go to the off position, and then Linda becomes unresponsive for a while then suddenly triggers all at once all the commands that failed to fire.
  12. Thanks very much, will download it shortly.
  13. Dave would it be possible to add two config entries in P2ATC for Active Sky's current_wx_snapshot.txt file. I used P3D and X-Plane and have to constantly edit the file location when switching sims. Thanks Andy.
  14. Oops, I've just realised I forgot to add [SDK] EnableDataBroadcast=1 to the 737NGXu_Options.ini. I'll test again now.
  15. No worries at all, the plane has only been out for a day, I'm sure there will be an update for the NGXu before too long also, which may change things again.
  16. Heading and speed is working for me, the knobs I mean, but I think some changes in the NGXu SDK will need to be accounted for to keep the displays fully in sync. They do update when in intervention mode though, they just aren't displaying --- when the FMS has command. I've only tested with the VRi FCU so far though, it's a pain swapping out for an MCP1 or 2 at the moment as the FCU is bolted into my pit. There a quite a few things that don't work, but you can work around some of them now with key assignments in the NGXu and FSUIPC for the most part. They haven't included any SDK documents with the aircraft yet (not that I have found anyway) so it makes it a bit difficult to see what's changed. The product does seem to be a bit rushed to market. I think they wanted to get it out quick before the FS2020 tech test goes live and everyone stops spending on legacy sims. I skipped the NGX in P3D as I didn't think the price warranted the content that was being supplied back then, but for $99 now for quite a lot of improvements and money off in 2020, it felt like the right time for me to get back into Boeings in P3D4. For me it was worth it, I probably wouldn't feel the same if I bought the previous P3D version though. Oops sorry for the OT.
  17. Click one more time after it displays disconnected and it will connect, I get the same thing sometimes.
  18. It is technically possible, but you have to have your voice made professionally with a company like Cereproc. You cannot do it yourself and share it with other people. It's also likely expensive as they dont quote the price for this service on their website.
  19. If you don't want to see the moving map then it's fine without, I use my voice to communicate with P2ATC when needed.
  20. I think a second monitor would make more sense to be honest, you can get them very cheap these days, it's hardly worth paying that little bit less for a tablet, unless you were planning on getting a tablet anyway for other reasons, even then I'd still say get a cheap 1920 x 1080 screen instead. Tablets are generally too small for things like this, unless you get a large tablet in which case a second monitor would be cheaper. I don't even like using my iPad for charts, I much prefer using the iPad as an FMC. I then have two other monitors (other than the main Ultrawide for the sim itself) for things like P2ATC and moving maps, charts, a web browser, etc By the way there is a trail so you can test Pilot2ATC before you buy.
  21. Surely the aircraft that are closest to you are the danger anyway.
  22. You should have your TCAS mode set to above when climbing, and below when descending, to reduce clutter.
  23. I very much doubt you are ever going to see more than 19 TCAS blips on your ND at any one time, if you do then it's time to declutter like a real pilot would do with above or below etc. And to call it a hack is not the correct term really, it's the way every traffic addon for X-Plane works apart from LiveTraffic, but that dev wrote his own custom TCAS system and api, now that was a hack. There are also no real negatives to using the 19 X-Plane AI aircraft, especially with Traffic Global as it takes control over those 19 AI aircraft the instant the sim loads and stops X-Plane loading its horribly inefficient models from taking up resources. One Caveat is to only select one aircraft type and one paint for all 19 slots, as the model and textures for that aircraft are loaded into memory. If you chose 19 different aircraft or the same aircraft and 19 different paints it will take up more memory.
  24. You can't edit waypoints that are part of a published procedure. If they are showing as wrong in P2ATC make sure your navdata is current and if it is then inform whoever you get your nav data from of the error.
  25. If you don't have time to try it out in depth you will find a very good video demoing P2ATC at the page below. I don't remember whether the chap uses 3rd party voices or not but its still worth a watch for new or potential users.
