  1. I don't have P3D installed, and It's been quite awhile since I've been using it... But as far as I remember, isn't this something to do with Dynamic 3D Autogen Vegetation?
  2. Wouldn't that remove ground traffic as well? Or does it only affect airborne traffic?
  3. Thanks for all the answers, people! 🙂 Greatly appreciated. I thought as much, as they probably forgot to turn them off... Or maybe - since easyJet's turnaround-time is around 5-minutes - he just thought "Oh hell - I'll just leave them on; I need to turn them on in a couple of minutes anyway..." 😉 He'll probably get teased by the other pilots... 😄 The reason I asked is just that I haven't seen it before. I don't know about Copenhagen, but are there any airports, where this is sanctioned (taxi, strobes, landing lights etc) or MUST be followed? Or is this always more (should-follow) advice for practicing good airman-ship (so to speak) 😉 Thanks again! I knew I could count on AVSIM.
  4. Hi all, Wasn't really sure where to put this (so mods, please move it, if it's in the wrong forum-section). I'm hoping that someone with pilot or airport knowledge could answer my question here. 🙂 A couple of days ago, I returned home to Copenhagen after visiting Paris. I flew on easyJet (we flew on an A320-200) from CDG-CPH and it was around 20.15, when we arrived and parked on the gate/stand. It was dark (like night-dark) when we arrived and disembarked and I (given the airplane freak I am) noticed, that he didn't turnt he strobe-lights off. When we landed the pilot turned off the strobes (as he should) after vacating the runway (we landed RWY 22L). He then turned them on again, when crossing a runway (RWY 12-30) while we were taxiing to the stand (which I guess is normal procedure). But then he left them on, after vacating the crossing runway I was wondering why. They were left on, also when we parked and when he shut down the engines and went to GPU-power. This puzzled me, as I have never seen that before. They're quite bright and lit up the entire stand (and the adjacent ones as well). He could of course have forgotten about them but they're kinda hard to miss at night-time. Also isn't there a checklist, which specifically turns them off or is that a pilot discretion thing? Also - if it's not a discretion thing - is there some kind of penalty or sanctions for leaving them on? Is that maybe depended on the specific airport or? Thanks for all your answers 🙂
  5. Great shot! I really miss the Norwegian Boeing 787's ...
  6. Interesting. I thought it was in Fenix2GSX, but I wasn't at home at was suddenly unsure, when I looked at their own website, which contained a screenshot of their app - which apparently isn't updated as well...
  7. There's an option to randomize the passenger numbers. I actually thought it was in the Fenix2GSX menu, but cannot find it. Maybe it's in the Fenix EFB somewhere? I remember seeing it...
  8. There's already such a 'forum'. You can send them to your ignore-list. Maybe I'm missing something here, but what are you talking about?! What old plane has Fenix made, that has been neglected due to new publishings???
  9. Just tried the Headwind A339. Excellent plane and mod! One thing, though (and I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong here - most like I do). I wanted to ask: How do you set altimeter to STD? I can set the altimeter but when trying to set it to STD at transition, it won't work. I've tried right-clicking, left-clicking and middle-mouse button. Is there a shortcut key or is my MSFS messed up? 🙂
  10. Maybe I'm being slow here, but what's the difference between this addon and the 'default' scenery in MSFS? Would have loved to see some before/after shots or similar.
  11. Interesting observations. Quite plausible, that they're waiting out for completed work. Any idea of when the construction on the A-pier is done?
  12. Have they come to the realisation, that they can't keep up the artificially inflated prices, so they're looking elsewhere now?
  13. Just being Devil's Advocate here; how about loading all aircraft on the ground, say within 1-2 nm from the user aircraft (kinda like a bubble). Would that be feasible or would it create problems of its own?
  14. @kiek You commitment and enginuity continuous to astound me! Thanks for your dedication!
  15. Sure you haven't got 4x the same order? (or something else in your 'cart') ?
  16. "You don't ask questions like that in here; are you tryin' to start a rumble?"
  17. Have you tried asking on HiFi Sim's own forums ? http://forums.hifisimtech.com/ Could be faster to get help there. 🙂
  18. Impressive model! Looks very nice. Unfortunately, I don't really use P3D anymore... Guess I'll have to wait a couple of decades for the MSFS version 😛 (If there's a market for one, as we already have a Concorde in MSFS, albeit not as detailed...)
  19. LOL. I'm very sorry, @skysurfer - but it seems very obvious, that you have an issue at your end. Either with your computer (most likely) or with some kind of networked setup (Firewall etc). I've been using PSXT + RealTraffic for many years now - both in P3D and in MSFS and it's been working flawlessly - and still is. In all troubleshooting, you should always assume, that there's something wrong with your system or you're doing something wrong (at least that's my approach). Maybe you should follow the advice of @kiek and try a FULL re-install of both PSXT and RealTraffic. Uninstall both programs and delete any residual folders/settings which are left over. Then restart your computer. Install PSXT (download the newest for MSFS just to be sure) and then install RealTraffic (again - download the newest, just in case). Take it one step at a time. Also make sure, that any firewall/antivirus programs are fully aware of the both PSXT and RealTraffic and make sure, that they aren't blocking or quarantining any files or folders. If the problems persists after the above steps, then maybe you could have system corruption (in the Windows file system) or hardware failure/malfunction. These are of course in the extreme scenarios. Also, it's quite irrelevant, what addon or aircraft you're flying in the sim. As @kiek said above, neither PSXT or RealTraffic have any influence or relevance of what plane you as the player is flying. As I said in the beginning, I've been using PSXT and RealTraffic with both PMDG, Fenix, FBW Airbus, stock aircraft etc - without any issues or any difference in operations, when it comes to the performance of PSXT and RealTraffic. Good luck. Hope you track down the issue.
  20. Never had an issue as well. And I use it for several different addons. SSO works flawlessly on my system.
  21. I don't know what to say here. To claim (and set your personal opinion as fact!) that Logitech products is downright 'junk' is a statement I find ludicrous and downright insulting for the many, many people, who's relying on them daily... I mean seriously?? Come on. My lastest Logitech Extreme 3D Pro lasted for 15 years! I've had pheripherals (mice, keyboards, joysticks) from Logitech, which have lasted quite a long time. My personal experience is, that Logitech is very good quality for a reasonable price. Of course, you cannot beat high-quality premium metal products - but the price-range is also on another level. Not everyone is looking to shelve out thousands of dollars on a controller. Just because you have the money and are willing to spend it on that, doesn't mean everyone will or can. And there's absolutely no need to berate those who have different priorities or is as economically fortunate as you are. Just my opinion, of course. 🙂
  22. They did post a benchmark in DX12. Look closer (near the bottom - 2nd from below). Also, I've been using it in DX12 with no issues.
