  1. £39.99 for an A319 and A321 including upcoming Sharklets! Wow!! Thanks a lot, Fenix! I'm impressed and pleasantly surprised. Makes you wonder about FSLabs pricing strategy... everything is sold in purchasable chunks - and quite large (expensive) chunks that is. A319-X: $59.99 A320-X: $149.99 A321-X: $59.99 A320SL+A321SL: $89.99 Combined: $359.96 Really pleasantly surprised to see, that Fenix aren't going down that road. Thanks, Fenix and @Aamir
  2. Doubt it. It sounds like - since they're calling it an expansion - that you need the A320. That's just my take, anyway.
  3. Must really be difficult being software/game developer these days... Often, users blame the developers/games for being unstable or badly developed, when it's actually their system, which is to blame. System corruption due to virus/malware, corrupt system files, un-updated OS or drivers etc, which is to blame for their issues. But of course, it's never the customers system or actions. It's much easier and convinient, to blame someone else. It must be someone else's fault.
  4. Honestly I don't understand this conversation... 😕 (Oh boy, I'm probably going to get shot for this, but so be it...) Why can someone be happy and re-joice, that finally an ATC addon is forthcoming and in development, that actually addresses some of the issues, that has 'plagued' many ATC addons for a looong time? I really look forward to this addon, but I don't know why someone feels it's necesary, to immediately jump in, and ridiculing it by pointing out that "My (favorite) ATC application (named XXXX) doesn't do that!!", "That's completely unacceptable and a huge let down..." etc. I mean come on. No ATC addon is perfect and BeyondATC isn't even released yet! Personally I can find many reasons why PF3 (for instance) is imperfect (in my opinion): User interface, clunky, cumbersome to setup, robotic-voices are just a few (that I personally have). On the other hand, I love the variaty, the different accents and the developer and support is beyond excellent! It seems like, that BeyondATC's focus is elsewhere (for the moment) and I applaude that! But if you cannot handle that or think that's wrong or constantly needs to berate the addon, for "lacking" features, being imperfect or simply mishandling some procedures or not "doing everything as in real-life", then maybe this addon simply isn't for you?
  5. *SIGH* This "conversation" has started to circle... Personally I really look forward to Beyond-ATC! It's still (very much) a work in progress, and the developers have very much acknowledged that. It has huge potential, and the possibility of having natural sounding ATC communications (which is not Vatsim) is - for me personally - a long awaited addition.
  6. Interesting. Thanks! I just had a look on the Marketplace, and there's some free stuff. Most of it, is Microsoft/Asobo, but there's other stuff as well... But I get the point.
  7. Maybe I'm being slow here, but I don't understand the whole not-possible-to-add-products-to-marketplace-for-free?! Aren't there free sceneries and/or aircraft on Marketplace? The FBW is there (but that maybe an exception). I also have the Aerosoft Paderborn scenery (which as I recall was free?).
  8. Where have you read this statement, with regards to P3D v6 ?? Haven't seen any expression in here, that everyone would be perfectly fine with paying full price again?! There's been some discussion about this, when it comes to MSFS support (which for now is impossible). I don't really understand this, to be honest. "Rebranding" an existing product, by now calling it "Professional/Pro" - adding no additional features - and then justifying a new license with asking full price, when the upgrade isn't that complex, as - from what I've gathered - the API hasen't change that much; or at all. HifiSim I can - to a degree - understand, as they had to adapt their weather engine, to the new atmospheric engine. I'm terribly sorry and with all the respect to the developer, but I simply just don't see the justification for this.
  9. Exactly my thoughts. If there were an upgrade price of $10-20, then maybe. But full price ?? No thanks. Kinda like Hifisim with ActiveSkym, where their plugin for the weather-radar doesn't even work. *SIGH* I think I'll skip this. Will consider it if/when Hifisim gets the weather-radar plugin to work...
  10. It's not officially supported or endorsed by PMDG. They say (themselves), that there's "not satisfactory results, when testing it", but I haven't found any significant problems with it. It's flyable, the sounds and the Operations Center etc works. But there's most likely some issues with it. I haven't tested it throughly. Sadly the ActiveSky plugin for the weather-radar doesn't work - even with ActiveSky for v6, so it's a no-go for me. Maybe someone, who've been testing it more, have some more insight?
  11. Interesting? Does FSTL inject traffic based on the real-time, not sim-time? (Could explain, why I sometime have so few AI planes around me... 😕 )
  12. This is just an extremely weird conversation, with denying facts for supporting one's own conclusions and observations or favorite solution. FSLT is a cleaner interface, easier and (much) faster to setup, but includes a fraction of the models of AIG (if you install ALL of them!). That being said, FSTL is most likely sufficient for most people. AIG is cumbersome, clunky, confusing and time-consuming to setup. If you need to install all models/flightplans, it can probably take a couple of days (depending on your internet connection and computer). But AIG just includes SO many more models (including military and government aircrafts etc), that it's just unmatched in the sheer number of models and flightplan coverage. Personally I use AIG in conjunction with PSXT/RealTraffic and it gives a variaty and model matching which is just unpresented. The other day, I sat and planespotted with AIG and PSXT at EKCH one afternoon, and was dumbfounded, at the level of accuracy, that it was able to match not only the model but the exact livery, which was present in the real world.
  13. So, you're saying that this behavior is a cultural thing?! Wow. Maybe I should avoid my neighboring country for now, then. 😕 There's a difference between giving constructive critisism and just ranting. Constructive critisism is how we make anything better, which I guess all developers aim for. Ranting is just useless and unnecessary, IMO. Personally I don't understand the conduct here... Complaining that the developer haven't 'responded' to his tickets (other than and emails/PM's - we'll look into it - is (again in my personal opinion) an arrogant way of setting you own opinion and observations on a higher priority, than the rest of the users. Then demanding that set developer re-watch his Twitch/YouTube-streams for documentation of his claims, is just a weird argument and an ugly way of promoting and monotizing his channels. I know, that probably wasn't his intentions, but I can't help to view it that way. Honestly, that was kinda of the 'drop-off' for me. Personally I have unsubscribed from his channels now.
  14. True. But remember, that it won't be $40 at final release; probably nearly double that, actually... 😕 Personally I don't see any reason to purchase it (yet). At least not, when the weather radar for the PMDG (and FSLabs provided that works in P3Dv6) etc, doesn't even work. Then I'll might as well return to MSFS. Since I solely fly tubeliners, I returned to P3D, because I really missed the weather, that ActiveSky providedm but most of all the weather radar functionality in the PMDG and FSLabs addons. When they get the weather radar plugin to work for the PMDG/FSLabs (and the other addons, which rely on this functionality), I may purchase it... but not at it's current state. Just my opinion 🙂
  15. I know, I know. 🙂 I just wasn't aware of the 'issue', before looking into it a bit more... Thanks for the help. Great program, great support as always!
  16. Yearh, I don't know. I had to re-install it, and I was used to Prepar3D as the installation folder. Has never had any issues with it before now. Oh well. It was quite easy to rename the folder and update the registry to reflect the change. The P3D_VERSION didn't work, hence I solved it by renaming it. 🙂
  17. @kiek I'm having this issue as well. Both in PSXTTraffic and PSXT_P3D. It just says Wrong P3D version "Lockheed Martin Prepar3D v5 [5.4.9.28482]" connects ... ? I have checked the version and registry settings and it seems correct. I'm at a loss here.... 😕 Never mind. I have fixed it. Apparently, PSXT, doesn't like if the version (v4, v5, v6 etc) isn't included in your installation directory.
  18. True, yes. But given FSLab's timeline and way - and most of all speed - of developing addons, I highly doubt we'll see P3Dv6 support... Maybe P3D v8 or something. 😛 Oh well... Maybe I can 'shoe-horn' the FSLabs products into P3Dv6. Otherwise I'll just stay with P3Dv5 for now...
  19. Interesting. Was anyone able to get FSLabs Airbus-series, to work in P3Dv6 ? I know that they won't update their product, but I was wondering if anyone has managed or tried to get it to work, despite this. 🙂
  20. Really? I wasn't aware of that. I stand corrected. 🙂
  21. No. I don't think any addon can do that.
  22. Well, I kinda agree with you, that P3D is (kinda) a 'dead' sim from an addon developmental standpoint. But since I solely fly tubeliners, I decided to re-install P3D 5.4, as I (must admit) really missed a lot of the things, which are missing from MSFS currently. ActiveSky, weather radar, SODE integration (for instance, double/tripple gates working), ChasePlane (proper camera functionality), Radar Contact etc... Granted, the graphics engine is miles behind MSFS, and ground textures is lower res (which can be seen in the VC of the FSLabs), and when you've played MSFS and seen what it could look like, it's quite a difference, IMO. But for me, (currently) the way I fly mainly, the good (functionality) outweighs bad (graphics).
