  3. Hi there guys & galsI have a question about the FMC fix page in MD11. I have seen, at a buddy of mine, that in his FS2004, PMDG747, there can be inserted a fix in his FMC where he can choose BRG/DIS for that fix, so that on the PFD, it shows a green circle in a radius of whatever he entered. The question is then: Can I do the same in the MD11's fix page? It could be nice because often in the US, radar contact tells me to cross at 12000, 40nm from "...waypoint".It's kind of hard to explain so I made him take a screenshot.Thx in advance
  4. Hi! PMDG teamThx for this great update.I finally succeded landing in LFPG, thanks to this update, hope this will be the same for all major airports. It also seems like it's handling a little better when handflying :-)There's still troubles with autobrakes and spoiler deployment when landing in my FS9. Guess i better check my fsuipc settings and investigate.
  5. Hi allI've been having the same problem for years now. I have done everything that has written on this forum and other. The only browser that seems to work here is IE6, which i have been using for many years now. I just saw that the new IE8 was out and tried to install it, but no luck on AVSIM's ftp server. I dont know about this, it's just a hunch. Can it be that the chipset is the problem here, and has nothing to do with software. It is always when it tries to contact the ftp server, IE goes blank, Firefox wants a password for the ftp server, ie. logon screen, although i am logged in.Well back to your question. Try to intall IE6, and see what happens.RegardsSoren
  6. Nope, I tried both FSbuild build with routefinder, and VrouteUPDATE: Tried to make a repair with the original installer (not the update) and it worked fine again. I am right now flying EKCH-EGSS and it seems it works a little better with waether updates and millibar changes. It also reads "build 355" on the interface.I also find my ASA error log:
  7. The only error log I could find was the JIT error log, just copy/pasted it into notepad.I tried to uninstall and ran the update again, but no change. I also tried different settings in international settings, but also no change.Thx for investigating :)
  8. HiI'm now getting error messages after trying to import flightplans. It happens when I click "ok" to install weather textures. My os is a XP32 Danish edition but with English internatonal settings. The funny thing is that this didn't happen before installing this update, which should correct this error!!! :( Just some nice to know info for the developers.Soren
  9. Hi!Just wanted to express my gratitude to PMDG MD-11 developers, this is probably the best addon for FS9, I've will ever come across.Don't matter if there's no wingviews or similar, got to have the eyes in the cockpit at all times :( .Now ready for a steep learning curve, but isn't that what it's all about...
  10. HiWell I reinstalled AS6.5, choose another default startup location and syncronized my windows clock. Now I'm downloading from both servers again. I have no idea which one did the trick.By the way I'm using NOD32 antivirusHope this helps...
  11. I'm having the same problem, it also hangs whenever trying to fetch a weather station or loading weather with a flight plan.It worked yesterday evening.Hope it's just a server problem.
