Right click on the rotary knobs to turn them onLeft click on them to turn them off

Has anyone experienced this issue and can point me in the right direction to resolve the problem.When accessing the OHP via the PMDG bar at the top of the screen and attemp to turn the panel lights on via the appropriate knobs the lights do not come on. All else works perfectly.Accessing the same panel via the S Key brings up the panel that does respond to the panel light switches being activated.When these panel lights are activated the ones off PMDG Bar still remain inactive.ThanksPeter Murfitt

Hi allWhen setting the flap settings the carriers on both wings extend into position and act appropriately when raising/lowering flaps but the slats do not move into any position from the original UP position. This applies to both the 400X & 400F and to all liveries also to all flap degree settingsDoes anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening?Peter

Initially had trouble with VNAV that would not engage and posted a question some while ago for assistance. Never really solved the problem so I uninstalled and reinstalled the program which has fixed the issue.To the PMDG TEAM I believe this product is superb and find it difficult to get out of the pilot seat. To me this is great to be able to emerse myself to this extent and a real step up from all the default aircraft which for several months I have just been flying the 747. I spent several weeks just reading the Operations Manual and continue to learn everytime I return to reread areas.I find it just a fantastic aircraft and it goes some way of understading just how the real pilots of this airliner feel about it.I'm a retired person and am pleased to have found such a great hobby as this and will continue to be very satisfied with this product.PeterNZ

Thanks for the feedback.Yes FD is on AP is on MCP set and V2+10.Have tried different Flight plans, databased stored company route and have followed the FMC to load to the letter.I feel that there is something I am missing and not completing the required information but I can not figure out what that may be.Peter

Hi GerryThanks for your reply.Yes autopilot is on and an example would be that the initial MCP altitude set for FL10,000 with steps to FL31,000.I have also tried with MCP set to FL31,000.Tried setting at lower altitudes with still the same results, no arm or activation of VNAV. Autopilot is on. Flight plan executed. no problems at any other point that I am aware of.Peter

Hi everyoneI am new to forum and am asking for help with a problem.I have installed the 'Queen' but have not been able to activate the VNAV.VNAV will not arm or activate following loading of FMC nor will it arm or activate during flight.LNAV is not a problem.When I try and arm VNAV it lists a message 'unable Cruz alt' and this occurs at any altitude set for cruise alt.What am I doing wrong?Peter MurfittNew Zealand
