  1. Hi Ray and Ronzie,ok I did the tutorial flight and all went well,I am getting all the options now,and I shall d/load the updates you suggest.I am a 74 yo f/simmer and at this age the old grey matter grinds slowly.I enjoy my hobby though :( Thanks again...best wishes Alan

  2. Hi many thanks for your help.I do not have makerways.exe installed.i do have the latest fsuipc for fs9 in xp.I am not seeing any options for choice of waypoint at all,as I said in my post it seems there are quite a few options missing I will certainly try the things you suggest.many thanks ................Alan

  3. Hi,could anyone tell me why I do not have ADV display in my modules menu, also there appears to be several options missing from the on screen options box eg..there is no option to skip a waypoint and continue to the next,in fact I only have keys 0891&7 operative.According to the pdf manual there should be quite a few options available from the onscreen display box.In addition,I notice that the facility to update on the main config screen is missing. The version number is 4.3.3845.Regards Alan

  4. Hi all , Firstly let me say How pleased I am that this post has produced some happiness for someone namely Mitch . It must have been very frustrating for you Mitch to have suffered crashes for such a long time . I have only just started to use fsx Vista, and already I am miffed off by it . Tell me though Are you using Vista Or Windows seven ? Does this cure work for vista ? Or is it for windows seven only . My regards ................Alan

  5. Hi,I am also Having problems with runtime error 75,it will not let me start RC4.I have tried all of the suggested remedies in this thread to no avail.I have only recently installed RC4 into Vista/FSX and have not been able to get RC to run yet.It is very frustrating, nothing seems to cure the problem.I am a73 y.o and not exactly well up in the depths of software fault finding.I tried running as administrator only to be asked to re-register.I also pointed rc to my .flt location, also to no avail.I have the current registered version of fsuicp.I really hope you can help as I feel I am spending far too much time trying to repair software and not using my hobby as it should be used eg. Flight Simulation.Regards Alan

  6. Any updates please?
Hi,sorry I didn't answer sooner, been away. The problem was that I had missed a waypoint and RC was sending me back to it.Just aquired RC and although I have read a lot of the manual,it don't readily stick too well when in your 70's LOL.Many thanks for all your help.Alan

  7. Hi ,I am quite new to RC but am gradually getting the hang of the basics.Over the last few days I have done 3 flights and at about a third the way through I am told that I am off course and that I should head xxx deg. This new heading DOES in fact take me MILES off course.I can't understand why this happens. As I say, this has happened three times now,any ideas anyone?tia Alan

  8. Hi,I have just aquired radar /c and have worked out how to use "text display" which is great,(I am very deaf)except that I can't get it to return to the menu to continue the flight,it keeps repeating the same line of text over and over.Any ideas anyoneTIA Alan

  9. Hi Billthanks for your reply.I am using recently acquired Saitek Yoke/quadrant/rudder pedals.I think I may have cured the problem though, went for a flight today and the same fault occurred, however I paused the sim and had a good look around, and found the fuel supply to the port engine to be exhausted,I did not realize this could happen as the same amount of fuel was boarded for each engine.I switched in the aux tank and hey presto away we went.I am very new to the DC3 so I still have a fair amount of learning to do :( .Many thanks to you both for promptly answering my cry for help :()I am very pleased with the aircraft and in the near future will be getting the B25.Best regards Alan

  10. Hi Fred, thanks for reply, the manifold pressure indicator leaps around like mad and the engine loses all power and eventually stops altogether. The temperature of engines prior to this problem were all normal.Manifold pressure was set at 30" and prop pitch at 250.I was at cruise of 8000ft.Hope this helps :() Alan

  11. Hi all,I recently purchased the dc3 package on cd rom.I am very pleased with it so far but for one problem.I am getting a regular port engine fail.I have no failures indicated in fs9 and have to the best of my knowledge done all the flight prep etc correctly.Any ideas anyone?TIA Alan
