Either the mod is not active for some reason, or you are limiting the framerate to such a low value that it's the same with or without the mod.

If you open the ATC window and pan the view, does the floating window flicker?

I don't limite the frames at all. I have 60Hz monitor so the frames are limited by vsync.

I will try the flicker thing.

  2. Is it possible not to see any noticeable difference in FPS? Reading here how this mod works miracles, 60 FPS, smooth etc.. makes me very confused. I can't see any noticeable difference at all. At the airport where I have, for example 50 FPS without a mod, I have pretty much the same FPS with the mod. If I raise the settings the FPS drops the same in both instances. I did put the files in the right location (Xbox, content folder, where the proper exe is located). The only difference is that I switch from DX11 to DX12.

I would expect at least some improvement in FPS, based on all I read here.

    i9-10900K @ 5GHz, RTX 2080Ti, 4k monitor.

  3. I'm on 2080Ti. Intel 10900k @ 5GHz. DX 12, TAA. 1920x1080. I'm also using TrackIR.

For me there's a bit less smoothness when using this mod, I can't pinpoint it but I'm also using TrackIR. like there's just a tiny lag when panning around with TrackIR opposed to DX11 without the mod. What surprised me the most, after reading this topic, is the lack of drastic FPS increase. I get a few more but if I start raising the settings the FPS start to decline the same as with no mod. The mod appears to be working based on the log file.

    I'm a bit disappointed.

Here is what you need to do, until they send the files.

First, you must register at Rex Axis: REX AXIS
Use the same email address that you used at Orbx Direct.
Then, in the right hand column in the image you have the
    information that you need.

The serial number is stored in the Documents\REX 6\REX AccuSeason\profile.xml file.
It can be opened and read using Notepad.
Your Order Number is your Orbx Direct transaction number.
You can find that here: Product Information - Orbx (orbxdirect.com)

If I do that, will I be able to register the product again through ORBX, when it is released - as a free update?

  5. In the old Accuseason app the automation doesn't work anymore, every time it opens just prompts me to download the new version. Since I bought through ORBX I don't understand why it wants me now to install outside ORBX Central? No instructions or explanation whatsoever what this means regarding having this product delivered through ORBX Central. Also, I'm really not in the mood to write support tickets when things go wrong.

IIRC, my (eVGA) 2080Ti card has a minimum 40% fan speed.  You can probably alleviate the start/stop behavior by setting up a custom fan curve that keeps the fans at 40% and then ramps up from there as the temp increases.

I'm not sure about that. I have the custom curve set up (from 20% to 100%) and it's definitely much quieter at 20% than at 40%. It also indicates values down to 20% in the live monitoring chart.

The issue is that the card frequently becomes silent for about a second or so every few minutes - it's like stopping and starting back up again every few minutes which is very strange behavior that wasn't happening before.

  7. I have a strange issue with Nvidia RTX 2080Ti lately. During the flight the fans are pretty loud but every few minutes or so they become completely silent for about a second and then start again. I assume they stop and almost immediately start again. I'm using MSI Afterburner to control the fans - I'm using this setup for about two years now with the same settings that NickN suggested. Nvidia drivers 536.23. This started to happen lately. Anybody else experiencing this? What could cause it?
