  1. well, i just saw that but it looks like his tool does not have the inflight part. however, if he will develop that, i may stop developing my addon or only use it as personal addon for myself, as i dont see any reason to continue if there is already a software for this :) or maybe i release my software as a freeware open source thing (even though, i dont like the open source part of it).. dont know yet

this whole project was planned to be for myself only. therefor, it doesnt matter if there is someone else doing it (as far as he does it accurate which he doesnt do yet, also the sounds are not the same as from the honeywell raas)

I think your's is far better, as it has the real voices and more features.

I dont give my money to the other addon, keep em coming...

  2. then i must have mistaken it because thats what i got told all the time.. have been in the first hall with the one A320 and the one B73 sim and didnt walk over the bridge to the next one.. btw is there still construction work going on so you are walking partly outside? :D
No there's a tunnelbridge between the buildings, no more walking outside ;-)

  3. well the problem with it is, that its not made out of original parts like most of the sims, therefor you cannot just change parts as you can do with other sims (because those 777 sim parts are not certified for real a/c use but on the other sims, you can just exchange parts with real aircrafts). at least thats what i got told. also, its broken lot of times, like the BER737 sim (dont know if its still like that but i saw the maintenance protocol a couple of times)
Honestly I dont know for sure, but I would say its made of original parts, but I would not swear that, at least it looks and feels original. The 737 #3 is made of replicas wich can easily recognized. They are all bruised as it is a hard live for them ;-)

  4. Not always. You know the 777 plastic sim in Berlin? Afaik it was something like 17million ..
I know him very well FT62, I'm often instucting on him. I once had two guys from Lufthansa Flight Training in the sim,who are purchasing sim's for the company, and they told me something around 25 Mil.Euro. It was on the 777 in fact. Sven

  5. "The pace was picking up now, and we'd just gotten an opportunity to make up on lost time. I turn to the F/O and tell him to "Do the checklist now". Fairly clear in my opinion what I was expecting him to do, but he turns to me and asks "Would you like me to do the taxi checklist again then captain?". I breath out slowly, and while staring calmly ahead, but looking clearly annoyed, I say "The takeoff checklist; if you would". "Oh, erm, yeh, Takeoff checklist, of course". Well after that I think I can successfully say the term "Sterile Cockpit" was re-defined and brought to a whole new level...." Which pilot reading a checklist twice, I had a bad day either if I ever came up with that idea...:-)

  6. The flap lever sounds were recorded in the real aircraft with professional microphones... don't know what else to tell you. I do not remember them having a loud "clack".
I dont doubt that, but in our real NG cockpit I can tell you its very audible when you put them into a detend position. But it could be that its due to the turned down volume ;-)Sven

  7. A.O.We're not going to be removing parts of the panel to match your home cockpit setup, sorry - the real NG has those things there, that's what we're modelling.
Nope, its a customer option we only have the clock button. The older NG's dont have anything, they are like the picture of the home cockpit. We have them in our fleet as well.Sven

  8. Trying to put something real into a Microsoft Flightsimulator can be very tricky (if not almost impossible), it seems it will a take while until its ready. So everybody should return to normal life and look again in a couple of month, maybe then there is another 737 on the market;-)Regards Sven

  9. anyone know what a BYPASS prompt above a waypoint on the LEGS page means in terms of what's actually happening to the flight path? I've seen no other LNAV model that has this.
It means you're turnangle over this waypoint ist to sharp or you are to fast to follow the flightpath and it will not be overflown. Reducing you're speed will help extinguish that message ;-)Regards Sven
