FS2004 does not run with CD#4 from a DVD drive in WIN 10. The solution cannot be discussed on AVSIM's forums.

Reinsert the DVD's; starting with the Acceleration and then disk 1 of FSX. (you`ll have options to either remove or repair)

Hearsay is not valid evidence to form a diagnosis of substance abuse. There is presently no evidence that the victim was disinhibited by ethanol abuse. And at this stage there is no evidence regarding the state of mind of the deceased. Recordings posted on social media outside a chain of custody are not evidence. They can be tampered with and weaponized; for civil liability insurance purposes in this instance. The evidence in this matter is in the sole custody of the investigators who are involved in finding, analysing and interpreting it. Let's hope that this investigation will help all who are involved in aviation to avoid such tragedies in the future. ben

At this early stage, the focus of this tragedy should be on the families and loved ones of the victims of this crash, on first responders who will have the difficult and delicate task in the coming hours of recovering the remains of the victims and on air crash investigators of this event. Let's hope that they will be able to understand and prevent it's causes from reoccurring again. bc

It does appear that they lost the center core rocket. It's nevertheless one of those successful failure types of Apollo 13 events where all the goals weren't achieved but everything turned out for the better in the end. Going always was the easy part of just about everything. Coming back is the tricky part. Mars. I won't be alive to see it; but I've witnessed so many great aeronautical events during my lifetime... more than I could ever have dreamed of - and I'm fine with knowing that I'll die with the knowledge that it's where we're going. These two Falcon 9s landing together today; that was a very pretty thing to behold. Very very pretty little things landing together indeed. To all involved and in particular to Mr. Elon Musk; sincere congratulations!

There`s an interesting vvc repaint for the C47 v.3 beta over at Simviation, by Hani Michal; who is a prolific repainter. It kinda gives it a Russian fighter look... nice pale blue skin for the vvc. (I can`t seem to be able to post links here at Avsim; ... so go give it a try at Simviation)

Ickie at SOH said today that the C-47 v.3 beta has been downloaded 1350 times since the 21st in the evening when it was made available. Milton`s G-73AT v1.0 was downloaded 350 times also since the 21st in the evening. SOH deserves some credit for having supported the C-47 v3 beta for years; and for making it available now. ... and let`s keep in mind that the C-47 is still being developed... it is going to get more sophisticated than it is right now; and with it being in so many hands, it`s gonna get the ying-ang tweaked outta it over the next months... OK... SOH`s servers obviously got slammed with these two fantastic freewares. The C-47 v.3 is, in my opinion, the very best of freeware prop, of al time. It`s VC is gorgeous. It sounds fantastic. There are gonna be a lot of repaints for it, foreseeably. It`s a little work of art. It`s still being improved. It was super tested, even before this beta. And all involved in this project deserve due credit for doing what most payware hasn`t achieved. I also enjoy the Mallard; a whole lot. WOW. What a day for simming. ...the C-47 v.3... there`s greatness designed into that electric thing. Thanks to all involved in these two great freeware aircraft. bc

C-47 v.3`s VC is a beautifull thing; the survey says it`s going to be an all-time classic. For FSX & P3D The turbo Mallard is another one of Milton`s Shupe`s great freewares. Get`em at SimOuthouse! bc
