  1. Highest respect for the FBW team! It's already a big accomplishment how far they have come with this huge project. Very much looking forward to this release.
  2. Bahamas do indeed look very nice now. They did good work here.
  3. I'm not sure if you're open for this but my advice is get yourself a tool that handles your controls and peripherals and not only that, but it does this on a profile basis. Meaning not needing to go into menus when flying something different. I guess you heard of AAO, FSUIPC and Spad Next?
  4. Yes, this can all be done with FSUIPC, and much more. I can long press, double press, rotate and so on. BUT, there are no solutions out of the box for that. You need to dive into lua programming. I think this is the way to go for people who don't need FSUIPC for other things.
  5. The update we are about to receive next should address most, if not all of these issues, though.
  6. I think you are mixing up World Updates (we just had WU16) and Sim Updates (we will get SU15 next). Yes, it's confusing.
  7. I just went there checking it out. It did load on the gates. It looks pretty good, IMHO. But there are tall trees just in front of the 08 threshold, making it impossible to land at the correct touch down zone. Meh. The good looking jetways don't reach the exit doors, no matter how close I park to them. Half baked...
  8. I don't think it sounds harsh at all and I share your view. From a business standpoint, it surely is the right decision. As a simmer seeking the highest possible fidelity, it really disappoints me. I was hoping the 777 would bring the improved LNAV and Navdata and I'm negatively surprised this doesn't seem to be the case.
  9. And I thought the advantage of living in Hawaii is, well, living in Hawaii.
  10. Incredible. This major airport takes only roughly 1gb of hard drive space and has splendid performance. Yet, it looks and feels almost perfect, even including convincing terminal interiors. Flightbeam never fails to impress. Others should take note. Ini's smaller KSAT took a whopping 7gb (iirc) when it came out. And it really showed in rather disappointing performance, to this day.
  11. One thing I like about it is its size. It's big! I hope it doesn't tank performance. It doesn't look groundbreaking, but the core features look solid. Now on to LNAV V2, please. 🤓
  12. No, I don't do this. I can't remember a single case where speed brakes weren't enough to let the Fenix respect all alt restrictions on descent. What I sometimes do though, is changing 'at or above' restrictions to just 'at' restrictions. This can help avoid being hot and high in the late approach, giving you the opportunity to slow down and meeting the glide path from below. Holdings I just did for fun and testing purposes.
