There is definitely something going on in the flare. Either the plane float, either the landing is too hard. The window for a good landing seems really really small. It seems as if you are not in the perfect energy state during the flare, you can’t get a normal landing. I tried to shoot a few approaches in a row using FSI panel and I can’t get a clear pattern to manage the flare correctly. Even with the same technic the results differ widely. You need to be as precise as autoland to get a good landing ie begining the flare at the right time, right speed, right pitch up rate and right pitch attitude. If one of those parameters is wrong, then it results in a bad landing, which seems a bit to much unforgiving in my opinion. But as others say, we still love the plane 😄 Pierre

Why no one is doing KLGA which is such a marvelous airport ? Busy, scenic and challeging approaches. That is a dream of airport for airliner in my opinion. No, Feelthere version is too bad to be considered ( I own it though faute de mieux) Pierre

Thanks for your advices ! The course setting for ILS is informative only. If you do not set it, the ILS will work normally. You just lost the situational awareness on your HSI. It seems weird to me that such a plane would require meeting such precise conditions for GS intercept. I think it is a bug. I heard about a problem with custom ILS on 3rd party sceneries. Pierre

Hi, I did my 1st flight yesterday, LFBO ILS32R. All went well until GS capture. For some reason, the airplane did not intercept the glide. G/S mode was armed and LOC captured. Do not know what happened. The only thing I noticed is that I forgot to retract all the spoilers but I assume it should not have any effect on GS capture ? Any idea ? Or bug ? Pierre

Hey, I fly those as my job ! Great idea but the real one cockpits are very very old nothing like a G1000 or even the nice 172XP analogue. We have 6 of them in our fleet and they are all different. Most are upgraded with Aspen or G5 and GTN or GNS, JPI electonic engine display. There are K and J version. Pierre

Hi, I have an Asrock MB and my BIOS do not allow me to have both GPU and iGPU running at the same time. Asrock told me to update BIOS but is it worth it given it seems risky ? Pierre

Hi, I have the same bug. Happened to me at KLGA and KBOS recently. One thing I think worsen the problem is using any recorder to replay your landing. 1st landing no stack airplanes, replay landing stack airplaned on the runway and FPS tanked. Pierre

Last time I tried, I had great difficulties with complex addons and could not continue the flight after the replay due e to aircraft becoming messed up. Pierre

Same findings for me, they really need to update the FM to correct this. It is such a pain to make a perfect flight just to screw it up during the flare 😅 Pierre

Hi, I would like to ask fellow simmers if they are seeing any Manathan buildings during ILS approach 22 at KLGA. I can’t see any apart one which must be a POI therefore appearing well before the others. I can see the buildings when on the ground though because I guess I entered the radius in short final maybe. I am running TLOD 100 with no photogrammetry. I would be glad if you let me know your experience at KLGA regarding this. Pierre in the radius

Hi, I have yet to test the program, but have one question for those who have : - Using AIG, the traffic was often using the wrong runway when comparing to FR24. Minded it was offline traffic, with FSTL been live, can I expect the traffic to use the correct runway like I can see in FR24 ? Pierre

I would like to know what settings give the best result for weather transitions because there are quite a few setting and it is not very clear in the manual. Well, in my opinion I think Asobo should find a balance between what we had and what we have now or maybe a slider or something to smooth out wind variations they use for the turbulences. I fly almost everyday in 172, 182 , 210 Cessna aircrafts low level in France and very often in windy and gusty conditions. Yes, there is always some kind of turbulences, even in calm weather. But the pont here is that as sim pilots we do not get the feeling. In real life, you are moving the yoke even before the wing has time to drop because you feel it coming with the seat of your pants. Doing that the aircraft barely move such has we can see in the sim. You can not do that in sim with no feeling. You got the plane wobbling around because you have to see its movement first in order to correct it. That’s why it may sound unrealistic or difficult. And I guess it is ! Because we are hearing for years that handling an aircraft is far easier in real life than in a sim. My opinion is that you can have the sim turbulence model to exactly match the reality even if you it is doable. You have to find the right balance so you can have the right feeling of handling an airplane. The best sim I used to date that models turbulences very well is Condor Soaring Simulator. The feeling is really great. Pierre

Hi, Regarding the process of excluding airports with custom jetways, does the program understand by itself if the airport is equipped with custom or Asobo jetways? Because there are some freeware airports that come with custom ones and also payware that may come with default jetways … How does GSX handle that ? Thanks, Pierre

Well, I can not help you for your problem but only agree with what you say about Leonardo. I am so much dissapointed by them! I bought the plane for 90 euros having in mind all the great memories I had with it in FS2004. Here it came with nearly no communication at all, and now it is the same no com about any future development we should expect when buying such an expensive addon. Hope my 90 euros are well spent by them though 🙄 Pierre
