  1. Excellent scenery as all Fly Tampa products are, if you fly complex aircraft such as PMDG, you can download less demanding textures from the Fly Tampa website which I have done. Mike
  2. Yes Christopher, the scenery was working, however the greyed out Libraries entry was still evident in the world scenery list making it impossible to move or delete. I'll wait for the dust to settle on this issue, perhaps till P3D v 5 arrives. performance is smooth and trouble free with v3.4. Thanks for your comments
  3. Just a wee word of warning, I was advised by Simmarket from whom I purchased Corfu, of the update available, and I uninstalled Corfu from my P3D v3.4, and commenced the new installation, only to be faced with 3 entries in the world scenery list ie Corfu,/Corfu LC,/Libraries, which were all greyed out, in other words these entries could neither be moved up or down or deleted , next activated the add to scenery command box in the FlyTampa folder, which still left the Libraries entry in the world scenery list greyed out. Gave up a this point and manually uninstalled all Corfu entries within the FlyTampa folder including Libraries, and installed Corfu with my original installer. The phrase "If it ain't broke don't fix it" comes to mind. Mike
  4. Great addon, I've had no issues since following the checklists correctly.... now with version 3.33
  5. Thanks for comments guys, yep.. study manual and checklists.
  6. New to Xplane11, and enjoying the experience, however during 2 separate first flights in the 737x Zibo, from YPAD to YMML 10 Minutes from T/D, the cockpit slowly blacks out completely, the exterior view is still daylight (midday),. I am not using any alternative weather engine, or weather programme. Has anyone experienced this? Thanks Mike
  7. Are you using Orbx vector? If so run the vector airport confguration tool, which corrects elevation issues.
  8. Hi, Cant give you a direct comparison, but I have nearly all UK2000 sceneries on 2 rigs P3D & FSX, and I highly recommend them for both performance and quality of rendition. I think one has to take onboard that the london area around Heathrow is quite demanding on your CPU & GPU, I get on average 18-24 FPS on my FSX rig. i-76700K 4GHz 16.GB memory Nvidia 1060GTX ps Andrew Thornton's scenery config editor is a must for FSX users
  9. Thank you for your comments, have just installed the uiautomationcore.dll into my FSX root folder. Will monitor and report on results.
  10. My windows 7 fsx rig occasionally comes up with this error, particularly on a lengthy flight, and invariably when I either right click or use the alt bar, anyone experienced or solved this issue. Many Thanks Mike Intel i7-6700 4GHZ, Nvidia GTX 1060. 1TB SSD
  11. Michael I too have updated Nvidia drivers to the latest 390.65 on my 3.4 version, all seems well, but would you explain the benefits of deleting the shaders? Regards Mike
  12. I too have purchased quite a number aircraft and sceneries from FSS, l always take the precaution of keeping a download backup....just in case. However I did'nt keep a backup of Justsim's LFMN Nice, and all I get when trying to download is "Unable to locate this folder". After repeated emails to both FSS & Justsim enquiring whether they still enjoy a business partnership............... not a dicky bird. Regards Mike
  13. I've flown the js41 since it's launch for FSX, love it, and the authenticity of the FMC,in keeping with the period. same goes for the beloved MD11. I own the GTN750/650 which is great in a modern day GA aircraft, but would I buy the the JS with GPS integration?. I think not...........just my opinion. Michael King
  14. Thank you Ryan...........I owe you a pint. Mike
  15. My panel and radios configuration only offers default GPS and the reality gauges which of course are greyed out because they not installed, and there is no option for the 750/650 gauges.
  16. I own the Flight1 750/650 GTN GPS, is there away to integrate the module into the realair Legacy? I am using P3D v 3.4. windows 10. Thanks
  17. Every time I load the aircraft I am asked to activate it, which I do, and activation is acknowledged, Windows 7 FSX, have reinstalled 3/4 times , then PMDG Operation Centre updates carried out, but frustrating issue persists. Michael King
  18. Many thanks for your constructive comments Vortex, will certainly look into the overclocking ,though I've never tackled it before. Mike
  19. I have the following system:- Intel i7 2600K SandyBridge 3.4Ghz, Motherboard Gigabyte Z68X-UD4-B3, Seagate iTB Hard Disk, Memory Corsair8GB Vengeance 1600Mhz,. A few months ago I replaced the dying Graphics card with a Ge Force GTX1060 3Gb,and at the same time enhanced the memory further with 2X 4GB 1600Mhz DDR3 The weakness of the system is the processor/ motherboard, as I'm inclined to think the new graphics is rather bottlenecking the performance. I would prefer to stick with windows 7, as that is what FSX was developed for, rather than go to windows10. I would appreciate any knowledgeable advise on processor/motherboards that could make this achievable. Thanks Mike
  20. Thanks for your comments guys. yes, a trim issue, will read documents 97, obviously the big bird is more sensitive to trim prior to autopilot deployment, than the 777. Many thanks
  21. Bought the bird yesterday for my windows10, p3dv3.4 rig. She hand flies beautifully, but , I am having an issue with the command autopilot which continually disengages every4/5 seconds after deployment at around 800/1,000ft. if I hand fly her for a while , then re-engage the command the issue is resolved, not an issue with the 737ngx or the 777 which I've had since they came on the scene,. I tried a solution offered by a recent contributor who also uses CH yoke and pedals, of changing the USB ports, but without success. Can anyone have any suggestions? Michael King
  22. Hi everyone, The activation issue has now been corrected by PMDG and installation is back to normal.
