Last week I updated to v4.2 and upon loading I noticed that the NUM PAD no longer worked for panning around the flightdeck and to look around the outside view. Later that day I downloaded the newest version of FSUIPC. Two days later I attempted to fly V4.2 and had the poorest performance I have ever had I then went back to v4.1 until I read a post that the new version of FSUIPC was causing major problems, I deleted FSUIPC and went back to V4.2 and found a workable copy of FSUPIC. I still am having problems with the NUM PAD panning. How do I solve this. Randy

Upgraded to P3d V.2 over the weekend, went back to 4.1 last night because 4.2 cased lags freezing and stutters,virtually unflyable. Now the default AI traffic is back along with my 3rd Party AI program. How do I get rid of the default AI. Thanks Randall Smith

The main issue for me was the the constant freezing up and stutters when trying to enter information in to the panel. I could almost deal with the NUM PAD issue.

Went Back To V4.1 after 7 hours of trying to troubleshoot. V4.2 was lagging way behind any mouse clicks by about 10-20 seconds. Trying to takeoff and it would stop and go all the way down the runway basically making it a slide show. I lost the ability to use my NUM PAD to look around the flightdeck and to scroll around the aircraft outside. Going back to 4.1 solved this. Do you have any clues as to what is going on? I think this needs to go back to the BETA team. Randy Smith

So can I do a repair install. Also why are some of us having issues with the loss of views with the number key.

For some reason when I went to install the Client for V4.2 I lost my scenery and content installs as well and my P3d would not launch, I don't know why it happened. I have done many of these client upgrades so it isn't because I don't know what I am doing. So I downloaded the entire install file and reinstalled the Scenery and Content and P3dv4.2 opened up. Today I was looking at my P3d files in Programs and Features and noticed I do not have an Academic Client unistall file. Can I do a REPAIR install to get this back with out missing up my whole program. Thanks Randy S

Yes. I am impressed with how fast X-Plane developers can turn around product that are impressive. Why does it take many months to years for FSX and LM P3d developers? Randy

Since I am a loyal PMDG flyer I dont know if this is an issue with LM P3dV4 r with PMDG products. On takeoff roll everything seems smooth looking forward through the CA and FO front. windscreen but when I look out the side windows I notice stutters of varying level until I am off the runway. I am only thinking it is a PMDG related issue because of the additional performance demands. Anyone have a thought or solution? Thanks Randy Smth.

I just got an Acer 27" Widescreen LCD Monitor Display Full HD 1920 x 1080 1 ms|144hz XB271H bmiprz monitor and have an EVGA 1080 FTW GPU. The monitor manual say I can increase my resolution from 1920x1080 to 2560 x 1440@144 Hz (DP only) but does not say how. How do you do that. The monitor and GPU are both G-sync. Thanks Randy Smith

I flew a flight tonight and disabled wind and got it on the ground with AP still connected. I will try another similar flight tomorrow. The only error was I forgot to set the autobrake and went off the end of 4 at KLGA.

And if it has been calibrated? I don't have this issue with the 747 pr 777.

I am flying a flight without wind right now to see if that is the culprit. I forget if there is a way to disable winds in AS16.

I didnt have this issue with the NGX in P3dV3 but have it in V4. On final just about the time I hear 50ft the AP disconnects and I have to manually land it. I did not have this issue with PMDG NGX in V3. Am I doing something wrong, is there a setting in the FMC I should change. How can I do a CatIIIC if my AP disco's Thank Randy Smith

Since Nvidia Inspector is basically dead with v4 what is the best config for Nvidia Control Panel for Global a Program setting. I am dealing with micro and semi microstutters on takeoff and final app no matter what scenery or aircraft I use.. Thanks Randy Smith

With what aircraft...Default? With what view spot mode outside the cockpit. If you can get that sitting in the VC of any PMDG aircraft at FlyTampa EHAM I may be game.

Hello. I just installed a new 1080 FTW in to my PC. I am getting overall the best performance I have ever experienced. I have one issue I want to see if anyone here has a solution. I notice a small stutter that is only slightly bothersome coming for the CA side window when taxing/T/O and landing. Is there a way to stop that. Looking forward No Stuttering. This happens on my PMDG TFDI products. Looking to add Matt Davies PTA and AS16 with ASCA next. Thanks for the help Randy Smith
