  1. From what I understand, Toliss is already working with Flight Factor on a collaborative effort in bringing the A350 up to standards.
  2. No problem with that choice. We need a deep system level A330 and they are the guys who can do it.
  3. Who can forget. Every time something new appears for that other sim, they all run to the hardware store for nails thinking they are going to need them coffin they never find 😆
  4. Well, we can agree to disagree on this one. There nothing strange about customer having choices and not concerning themselves with the business aspect of one choosing what aircraft they want to buy and expect them to limit their desire to one companies balance sheet. If they don't to deliver what the customer wants then they will go elsewhere, plain and simple. On another thread one person brought up the idea of wanting a A340. People question him on why and felt that aircraft is in its twilight years of service who didn't believe it will sale well, while on the other side A340 seems to be doing well and is popular among so of the streamers on Youtube. You don't have to look far but in this very thread about the idea of a 707 or 727 older aircraft whom some feel they are just too old. Yet inibuild manage to build their A300 which was in their twilight years of service and bring them to both markets and they don't have unlimited resources. People ask them to bring it over and they somehow they did it without treating their customer as shareholders or accountants with all the studies and financial analysis reason.
  5. I am referring to the comments made relating to the 737 that you can find on FSElite with all the updates leading up the release of the efb in the comment section (if they still there) and have recited numbers for me to prove anything. If you want to know how they felt, you are more than welcome to look for yourself and infer what you want from it. To say it was any different is not steep in reality. Beside 100000 views are just it, curious viewers and I could have been one them, does mean you can count that as sales?
  6. No it is not a strange take from a customer POV. It is exercising a choice in which one does not wish to live with the decision coming from a developer who didn't support the aircraft the users wanted. What is strange is you willing to live with their decision as if they are paying your salary as if you work for them and not being customer of their product. I was once a customer and made the choice to leave and not stay and compromise what I wanted in the sim when saw something better, to stay with them. People understand that some developers has to make money and pay salaries if that is the business they are in. But that their business, who responsible for that, the customer? If a customers is not satisfy of a particular product, should they just live with that product or go to another and the get product they want. After all, it is their money they earned they are spending, not the developers. So to see it from the developers POV to me is no benefit to wait for rest of your life for something that should have been in you hands yesterday if their job is to produce products to sell. You can't make money if you don't produce anything. "Even if MSFS is proving to be a cash cow, I can't imagine you'll ever get into a financial position where you can lead your business in a way that entirely favors what users want rather than do what the business does and make profit to keep it alive." And why not, isn't that what motives many developers including PMDG to go to MSFS and stop all their development efforts on other platforms as well as their own project in the first place? PMDG had a command on their own market and could have taken it anywhere they wanted to go. MS knew it and was too glad to have them on their side and willing to hold their hand at getting their aircraft running, because they knew the users would follow and if you think that was not the case, who are you kidding? If making money means that to them, why are they not expanding their business instead of shrinking it to one. This is not their first rodeo, they been with P3D and FSX for years. it's financial suicide to focus on individual features for aircraft on a platform that's seeing a mass exodus of users, rather than set that aside and shift focus to work on bringing the actual products that make money to the new platform. It may not have been a financial suicide for them after they got there first 737 aircraft after the years its has taken to get that out the door but their reputation took a huge hit on the EFB and all you have to do is look at some of cynical comments in between the praise from the faithful around here or others. The news of the 777 is the biggest news of week but even some find it not to be a long lasting impression about this aircraft that has being around since 2013.
  7. But question is: @JBDB-MD80 Last I check FBW A32nx are Airbus they are not boeings. Anglo77 was not speaking of Freeware Aircraft in general. He gave you one and now you want to change it to something else because he was right. There is no other aircraft in the sim world who has a stronger challenge to PMDG aircraft other than the Zibo mod and FF upcoming releases. Within MSFS, PMDG as a virtual monopoly on the market when it comes to study level aircraft. Outside of that world, it's a different story. So they are, but does not stop them from be the best at what they do and offer the things that PMDG won't or slow at delivering and that's what most users want like a fully functional EFB or mabe a payware variant of the 757 or 767. It alway a business decision that gets in the way of what giving the users what they want which is why I left FSX. For most user this is hobby and a not business so I go where the developers will support what I want in this hobby, not listen to those using their business as an excuse.
  8. Just learn that there are two updates for the A300 and BelugaST XP12 It also mention that a fix for XP11 and AIRAC bug fix. https://www.thresholdx.net/news/inu211 Here is list of fixes A300: v2.1.1 Art Fixed – Nose Landing Gear lights not working Fixed - Strobes too bright Fixed - FO side rotaries and digital displays offset Fixed - Beluga ST has all ANN lights on all the time even with switch set to BRT and DIM Fixed - Beluga flight deck is green at night Systems Fixed - Freeze computing TO Perf Fixed - WX Radar not working Fixed - STBY Altimeter Scale wrong when altitude high Updated – AIRAC cycle Fixed - SASL frame rates issue Fixed - Trim is moving but not affecting flight model Fixed - Fuel flow not showing and no fuel is burnt by the engines Fixed - ATHR in the CRZ N1 would hunt Fixed - Removed experimental flight model message Fixed - FLAPS and trim not working due to changes in core sim variables Fixed - A300 and Beluga weather request do not work anymore Flight Model Fixed - Adjusted Beluga ST gear placement Fixed - Changed CG slider on EFB to match in sim XP12 CG variable Fixed - Adjusted GE/PW engines to work correctly with engine model changes in XP12. 9. You are one of the few streamers who not only understands the quirks but knows how to fly the magknight aircraft properly even though its an XP11. It still a pleasure to watch over other video's of Magknight 787's I seen so far.
  10. Maybe I will wait until 12.1 is out to use it since the results may fair better with the new 3D water that is coming.
  11. This is the one we all been waiting for. This is going to open the flood gates. 😃
  12. I wish I can be a fly on the wall to see if its true.
  13. @GoranM Lots of good behind the scene stuff in the slides that I have not seen since some of the presentation that LR conducted in the past conference. Thank you for sharing this information that I think will be helpful on what we can look forward to, every exciting things!!! What I find interesting as well is the FSElite presentation that looks encouraging if some marketing ideal's for presenting the latest and greatest addon aircraft and scenery are practice. Very good guild lines that I think are helpful as well. Hopefully we will see better articles and updates on X plane addon at that site.
  14. It is a good thing for new users until they are able to navigate around the community. Its a good start to get them going and for the developers to get some early exposure.
  15. This is excellent news indeed!!! The collaboration of two companies coming together with their experience and expertise their specific areas to do the A350 as a win win for not only Toliss, FF but community as well.
