GSX is more of a visual thing. The only operational value it has is the pushback really. You either love it or hate it. I personally have it and enjoy it.

Just now, Axis3600 said:Mine is 11 months old, I don't think he can take it back... what did you tell them? just a refund? Or a fault on the board ?
Just that it doesn't perform as well as I thought it would (which is true). I bought it 6 months ago.

I would also like to do it but I have no satisfaction or refund I also bought it from Amazon...I just started a chat with them and they set up a return label for me. As simple as that.

Amazon are refunding me the full amount I paid for my 3090Ti and I am purchasing the 4090. I simply cannot wait to experience frame generation. From the videos I have watched and the posts I have read, FG is a game changer!

I uninstalled over 17GB of files the other day from MSFS such as the landing challenges and aircraft and liveries I will never use.

I got my RTX 3090Ti in October 2022 and wish I hadn't. I am going to purchase a 4080 in a few weeks, as reading this thread has concreted my realization to the error I made in purchasing the 3090Ti. Will Amazon (purchased from Zotac) allow a return and refund after 6 months?

The DC6 is a good long haul airliner, the A310, AN225, 737 BBJ to name a few.

Since turning off Photogrammetry I haven't had any performance issues.

Will they scream as much as the B52 does today? I guess not.

I have noticed that with both default and payware sceneries of Fairbanks Alaska that when looking east towards Fairbanks town/city that there is a sudden short drop in fps by about 20 to 30 fps causing a major stutter fest which lasts for only a few seconds. I don't have any Fairbanks city mods installed, I only have Orbx Alaska Mesh. Has anyone else noticed this?

I found this https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/dlss-2-5-1-in-flight-sim/571306/17

How do you get DLSS swapper to detect MSFS installation? I have it installed via the MS store.

I would be interested to see if you saw an increase in manipulators on dev mode fps counter with this performance loss during flights.
Yes I have noticed that traffic especially air traffic causes slow downs after a certain amount of time. Instead of FStraffic I think I will just use FSLTL as static traffic to populate airports.

I was totally disappointed and have never had the need to troubleshoot the community folder before, but this time it did the trick. One of my old liveries or airports had to be the culprit.
Did you have to reintroduce each mod to see which was the cause or did Addon Linker automatically find it?

I have noticed that my fps will drop by about 10 to 15fps after a certain amount of time spent flying. The only way to fix this is to turn off online services and turn it on again. I know that today is Cross The Pond, and that a lot of people will be online using MSFS, but this is an issue that needs to be researched more into so that the route cause of the performance loss can be eradicated.

I tried the latest driver today and an hour into a flight the sim just froze. Reverted back to 516.94 (old but gold, aka no issues).

I gave in and purchased it anyway. Not had any issues yet but as history says - time will tell. It was only 13 Euro and considering the work MKS have done on it, I think its good value for money.

I deleted my sceneryindexes folder as well as Simobjects folder in the MSFS directory. So far so good, stutters have improved and general performance has also improved.
I followed this https://www.flightsimulator.blog/2023/03/15/performance-boost-tricks/

The CTD issue has been persistent since MSFS released. You can fly in and out of Dublin one day, then the next day you'll have constant CTD's. Its an area that needs to be fixed by Asobo internally. As much as I would love a V2 of Dublin, I will hold off on this purchase until Asobo fix this area.

Try to delete rolling cache, when turning on rolling cache make sure to download the data outside of the default path. I have mine set at 40GB and to download to my D drive while my sim is installed on C drive. Delete Nvidia cache files also:
I'm not sure if this will help you in anyway, but its worth a try.

I made the jump from intel to AMD and will always be team red from now on. The 5800X3D has improved performance all round from MSFS to RDR 2. It compliments my 3090Ti perfectly.
-
I think it depends on what areas you fly over and in to. I still think Asobo need to look into a potential memory leak when flying over densely populated areas. As when I fly over Alaska, I don't see any performance drops what so ever. I always delete rolling cache after updates.
