747 2.0 was the second project if I recall.

For the autopilot part, are you by chance applying pressure to the control surfaces when trying to engage AP?Lost the FLPln after 2 h enroute flight. Timeacceleration jump from 4x to 128x without any reason, but i set 4x upper limit (untouched). Sometimes unable to switch Autopilot after takeoff....

LOL...they're just toying with us.... :-D
Yep, even added the 77W to the products page in the store
-
Not me, everyone else seems to be doing that for me
Can someone who is spamming F5 call me when its released, I want to finish repairing a 1:200 777-200LR model
-
The visual appearance of the store has now changed, they may have just wanted to update the software that's all.
-
PMDG eCommerce has just gone offline for a short time for routine maintenance.
Hmmm....... I wonder?
Im almost positive that has something to do with the release, maybe bringing on secondary servers to try and minimize the disruption when we all violently throw our money at the store.

When you installed the plane, did you put the serial number from your order in properly?right ok the texture work but I have another error now, as you can see in these to images they are both my 777 and 737 they both are the same,http://prntscr.com/42j0ue and http://prntscr.com/42j1hk and http://prntscr.com/42j1o7
That looks like a PMDG gauge is not loading.

Hope no service packs needed for Robert...
He already got his service pack with his operation. Little did he know but while he in his operation he was updated with a revised code system to better predict release dates as well as troll database update to be able to send trolls on the new SIDs away from the forum.

Robert, I hope you get well soon, health is far more important than flight sim!

Honestly its pretty ridiculous.....I know people will probably down vote me but its been so long and nothing and nothing. The only thing I ask is that they keep us updated. Even if there isn't much news, at least say something. You have thousands of people staring at a forum and we only get 1 update per month....really?
I think they don't update us as much as they could because if they say there wasn't much progress this week, there would be an even bigger riot from another group who wants to yell about not making progress. So, unless its huge they wont say anything because its a no win situation plus they waste time typing up a nice post just to get yelled at by the other side.

Love this program, using it on all my flights now.
Only thing I wish it could do is read the legs I select on board the plane vs the default planner if that is possible in the future.
From my flight last night

Create an account here http://support.precisionmanuals.com/Main/Default.aspx and start a ticket on the activation problem.
Hope that helps!

Great update, thanks for taking the time to post it

Of course there will be a -200ER, why would they talk about it though until their first announced expansion has not been released yet?
Please sign your name per forum rules, you can see how to add your name to your signature in the above post.
I think the 200ER will come out sometime down the road but I expect to see progress on the 747 before we see a 200ER.

I'm sure the 747 will get an update at one point, only so much can be done at once though.

Ryan,
Your peripheral vision would extend a lot further than that shown in the photo. That's the difference between sitting in a real cockpit, and looking at one on a monitor.
Correct, however often times (atleast for me) the peripheral vision does not play too much of a role when focusing on instruments or what's in front of me.
-
Since many people have not had the opportunity to sit in a real cockpit, I can understand why some people feel a wide angle is "normal." However, in real life it's quite small and you either have to look up or look down. I took this yesterday to show what the 737NG looks like sitting in the pilots seat, looking at the HUGS.
-
Almost thought this was real, but I don't think so given the date.

Hello,
Everytime I fly in real life and get a seat forward of the engines, I experience that the engine noise gets quieter with increasing altitude.
In takeoff and initial climb phases it is pretty loud, but in higher altitude climb it becomes more and more silent and in cruise when the RPM decreases it is nearly unnoticable.
I noticed this effect also in many cockpit videos, theres only wind noise audible in CRZ flight.
Maybe it would be possible to model this effect also on the upcoming PMDG products?
The 737NGX and 777 have a really great sound package that makes you think flying the real one if you close the eyes, modeling this noise decrease effect would make the sound experience absolutely perfect in my opinion.
At the moment I turn the engine noise so low that it is overtoned by the wind and other cockpit noises, but that turns down the realism level on the ground and initial climb phases because it is too silent for this phases of the flight.
I believe this isnt done because it is a limitation of the simulator.

Hi,
So will the 777-300ER be a free addon? For us that purchased the 777.
No, it will be like the 737 600/700, a slight cost.

A very interesting ipad simulator turned essentially toward heavies and navigation.
Here a few reflections and wishes, if ever realizable.
- Map view with a minimalist map instead of the blackened backgound so that it is possible to easyly pinpoint a destination or just know where the plane is. This map would be best with towns, rivers, lakes, isles and mountain contours.
- Possibility to save a flight plan for further usage.
- For now, only a departure or arrival on an airport is possible. It would be fine if the plane could be placed every where on the map with height, speed and bearing.
- More realistic and adapted terrain + 3D. I downloaded caribbean isles and here can be found huge motorways wich sometimes crosses micro islands!
- More attractiv prices for add ons with bundles to reduced prices
Keep on going and happy new year
Best regards
Patrick

No. They're using the texture from the FS9 version to save time.
Really?
oh noes, will it atleast have weather radar and multi cockpitz?
-
The 747 V2 is a whole new model from the ground up so of course it will have all the latest textures like the 737NGX and 777! Hope that helps.
-
Really? But why does it work at some other users?
Well, doesn't mind actually.
And when will the update come? Ca.?
The next update should be SP2, and right now we have no idea because PMDG is working on the 777 right now.
PMDG Discounts?

They don't do promo codes because there is no need, their products are worth every penny.
