  1. Hi, I was following tutorial 1 for the PMDG 737-800 NGX allong nicely, and have parked the aircraft at a gate at EHAM. I just started going through the list for the secure procedure, and switched the APU off. Although there was no warning of this in the tutorial PDF, an alarm started sounding. No red or yellow lights appeared (next to the red fire button on the annunciator panel) and I couldn't switch the alarm off that way. Suddenly FSX gave a "Fatal error" prompt and exited the sim without anything that I could do. Is the alarm related to switching off the APU? I didn't have any indications or annunciations on the panel, nor was the alarm like a fire alarm. It was a different kind of sound. And could these steps have led to FSX giving me a fatal error? Anyone else have had this kind of behavior in the past? Thx for your replies.
  2. I had the exact same problem, other than an other error code. But my problem was indeed the fact that I purchased the 747-8i/F on my own account, while the 747-400X was ordered on my father's account.PMDG transfered the old orders to my own account and my installation succeeded.Perhaps you should file a ticket at customer support and explain your situation, so they can move your orders to the correct account.Or otherwise they should implement their installers so that it doesn't matter on which account the original aircraft was bought, as long as it's installed and valid.
  3. Ok thx :-)But I've been dumb. Apparently I do already own version 1.3 of the 737TNG so there's no need to update, and that's why the installer sais it's an incorrect version for the update.I'm sorry I didn't notice sooner.Thx.
  4. Well :( Perhaps I didn't explain properly or a bit confusing.I indeed found the updates, but when I try to execute the update 737TNG V1.2 -> V1.3, I get an announcement that my version isn't correct to perform this update.I supose I have an old version of the 737TNG 600/700 , bought it many years ago, about when it first came out, and I don't have a patch to update my version to version 1.2.First I have to be able to update my 737TNG to version 1.2 prior to being able to execute the 737TNG V1.2 -> V1.3 patch. Can anyone direct me to a file to perform a service update to version 1.2 ?
  5. Hi there,Recently (which means, today) I started re-installing FS2004 on my computer because FSX is getting quite slow, and I want to perform a flight I recently had to go on a holiday. We were going to Gran Canaria in a JetairFly 737, and I want to re-enact this flight in Flight Simulator, preferably with a PMDG 737 (like 600, although we flew a 400) and in FS2004 because it never drops below 20 FPS even with PMDG on my machine.I was lucky to had the downloaded files burned on a CD because I lost all my FS2004 files and scenery years ago when getting this new PC and thinking I would never get back to FS2004 again after getting used to FSX.I would like to perform the necessary updates, more exactly the Service update for the 737TNG from version 1.2 to 1.3, but it appears I bought the PMDG when it was version 1.1. I can't find an update to version 1.2 anywhere on the website. Can anyone direct me to the location where I can download the update from version 1.1 to 1.2, so I can also finish the update to version 1.3?Does the PMDG team sometimes read the forum or do I have to contact them directly for this?Thank you very much in advance for any possible information.Kind regards,Steve Schols(Belgium)PS: The account at the PMDG store is listed as frank.schols@telenet.be I cannot find the purchase of the 737TNG (600/700 and 800/900) under the order list, but I can see both past 747 QotS and 747X purchases.
