  1. Beautiful and very engaging set of pictures, pmplayer...! Glad you're diligently taking care of the required maintenance first, before the long-haul flight....🙂...
  2. Andreas: I'm getting now a message "Image not Available...."...not sure if an issue on my side... Hope you get your Joystick issue resolved, so you can go flying again in all your SIM platforms...🙂...
  3. I was very recently flying above Lake Geneva, but at near ground level...🙂....compared to yours... Nice plane and beautiful shots...!
  4. Nice little trip and images, Darryl, from your side of the country.... with this nice little plane...the silver finish on it looks great...
  5. Appreciated the comment, Andreas. Yes, you're correct, it's the stock B58, in a Military (Firefighter) uniform.... I believe... I'd not flown it in a very long while, so thought I would give it a try here...
  6. Thank you for the comment, Andreas. I'm largely focused on areas with some kind of (incremental) Updates....which have been all decent to explore, I think...
  7. Thanks, Andreas...yes, not too small and not too large...🙂...since we were just talking about here how an A380 BizJet (interior) might look like....
  8. OK, here is another "Bliss" themed post of mine...🙂...I recall the last one was "40 miles of Bliss" in a SAS DC-3 over Sweden's hills and pastures, and here it is "20 miles of Bliss" (but no less "blissful") over the beautiful waters of English Channel, flying between two of the major Channel Islands, in a modern TBM-930 turboprop, in the colors of Aurigny Air. Now, locally around Chicago, as the temperatures are warming up for Spring, and the trees are beginning to blossom with delightful flowers and leaves, the birds (and the squirrels) can be easily spotted frolicking around, having emerged out of their long winter hibernation. Yesterday, I noticed an unusual (red-and-yellow colored) bird sitting steady on the tree, and today, while perusing my a/c liveries, I came across the "Puffin" bird...🙂...If you were to ask me what livery (and logo), I vividly recall from the earliest days of my involvement in this hobby, it would be that of the bright yellow Aurigny Air airplanes, with the (hard-to-forget) Puffin bird image on the tail of their a/c. I am sure all of us have flown, in past SIMs, the BN-2 Islanders and the BN-2 Trislanders, of Aurigny Air (I recall having mastered, I thought, that KLN-90B GPS on the avionics suite of these a/c SIMs along with that tiny moving map...🙂...) ... Aurigny, the flag-carrier airline of Guernsey (more correctly "Bailiwick of Guernsey"), was among the first operators of the BN2 types, and, in fact, had first introduced the BN-2 a/c over the exact same (short) route (from Alderney (EGJA) to Guernsey (EGJB)), that I'm flying here today. However, for this post, I'm flying in the (better) comfort of a modern TBM-930...🙂...and no KLN 90 GPS here either, but advanced Garmin Avionics instead... (the livery is fictional because, though Aurigny has since moved on to modern a/c types such as the ATR and Embraer, it doesn't have any TBM in its fleet). Nonetheless, I'm thankful to the repainter for this livery of my affection and nostalgia. I was reading today about this Puffin bird a bit more, "The species have a stocky build, and large beaks that get brightly colored during the breeding season. Their short wings are perfectly adapted for swimming with an intricate flying technique underwater (incredible divers that they are...they can reach depths up to 300 feet in less than 30 secs, while looking for food, their (specially designed) wings pushing forcefully against the water enabling them to swim as fast as 10 miles per hour). Moreover, in the air, they beat their wings rapidly (up to 400 times per minute) flying low over the ocean's surface, in swift flight.... (So, the Puffin birds are amazing specimens of amphibian aviation indeed...🙂...) ..." Anyway, please find a set of images, as I return near the Normandy Coast that I'd once visited in one of my previous posts, but this time, further into the English Channel, for a flight between Alderney and Guernsey. Right after lift-off and gears-up, I've activated [Dir-To] towards the IAF of ILS/DME Rwy 27 of EGJB (EGJB has a (scenic) seaside 4,800 ft Rwy suitable for most of your aircraft except the big jets...see my approach and landing shots). I've also included a few other images of Guernsey in and around the airport and the island...only 24 sq. miles in area, but it surely packs a punch as a really wonderful place of gorgeous beaches, breathtaking cliffs, and most of all, one can see both sunrise and sunset off the English Channel, on this island (see my images). I also did spot small roads and foot-trails leading to many overlooks to enjoy the magnificent views... (So, it's time to rent one of those picturesque cottages, take out my stowed-away (and folded) Electric Bike from my TBM-930, and head out to one of those seaside corners...looking for those Puffin birds diving deep into the waters nearby...🙂... getting carried away a bit by the (virtual) beauty of the place...🙂...Oh well...). In my last image, I've left you with a close-up shot of my TBM-930 tail showing the (logo) artwork of this amazing little bird... Thanks for viewing. Hope you enjoy...!
  9. Andy: Yes, you must have the CS-130 stuff along with documentation, from FSX/P3D… BTW, there was an interesting “JATO” (Jet Assisted Takeoff) visual simulation in the FSX/P3D package…Do they mention it here, but again no Docs you have found for this MSFS version yet… Anyway, very nice series of pics…!
  10. ….🙂…My only exposure to just a bit of luxury on the plane was in the first class of an Air France 777, thanks to mileage points of the spouse…🙂…I was by myself, and surely the cabin crew must have known a-priori (a) Here is a free-loader (b) The mileage points reward is a gift from someone else …🙂… Though I cherish the pampering to this day, once was enough for me. Regarding the magazines you see in my (i.e. LVFR’s) images above are Wallpaper, Nouvel Air, Digital Camera, and Travel Europe (not shown on the table in front of the stewardess)…front cover of it showing $199 vacation packages…🙂…And Finance Daily with news about, “What’s in store for Britain’s future?”…🙂… Yes, we need to replace these un-interesting magazines in our own private jet…🙂…
  11. Thank you, Will. Thanks, pmplayer. Indeed it’s a cute little plane with modern avionics. I got some extra repaints fort it. Flies very well in MSFS. Appreciated the comment, John. Cheers…! Thank you, Andy. Endless locales in MSFS to try and fly…but w/o some kind of City (or World) Update, it’s a hit or miss…Agree, once close to some of these nooks and crannies, Drone might be the best way to explore…
  12. Beautiful livery...looks good on the A300, pmplayer...! Like the double toned Blues and the Cheatlines...A nice logo too...Thanks for sharing...
  13. Wow...a C-130 from CS in MSFS...🙂...Nice....It was one of their forte during their (glory) days of FSX/P3D....🙂...Was flying (and posting) about it often... [Andy: You can download Free CS manuals from on-line; I believe...I mean the one they used for their "Legendary" series C-130 in previous SIMs...Give it a search with "Captain SIM C-130 Manuals" or such keywords...Have fun...]
  14. Nice and dense cityscape...Todd...Great looking set... I was around Bologna recently...🙂...looking for the "Po" River...but I need to explore this city details some more...
  15. Thanks, pmplayer...Yes, a nice A318 it is ...🙂... Appreciated the note, Todd. Glad you liked. ...🙂...Thanks for the thoughts, Andy. Yes, the A380 Private would be something...never flew on a regular A380, but I've heard from a rich uncle (not sure why it's the always uncles but not parents that are rich...🙂...), who often used to travel first class in the A380 talking about On-board Shower Suites and all...the Private Business Jet version (palace) would be mind-boggling...seen pictures of it... An A380 is coming up in MSFS. I'm sure someone would do justice to such BizJet A380 interiors... Appreciated the comment, Will. Cheers...!
  16. Great looking set and ambience, Andy. I had flown AS Lukla in FSX a lot, but this here in MSFS looks so much better...low-level resolution wise... [Been to VNKT once, but never could make it to VNLK. It was before they renamed "Lukla" Airport to "Tenzing-Hillary" Airport...]
  17. PNG is (always been) such a fascinating (and challenging) region to fly in our SIM, Bernd. These add-on airstrips must make it all the more enjoyable.... Beautiful series of pics...!!
  18. Andreas: I was looking at your post again...and I see that I've confused you (and your post) with the other Andy (andy1252) ... 🙂 ...Sorry about that...Anyway very nice pictures set of this island you've shown here...
  19. ...🙂...Yes, hard (color) is the word.... Glad you liked it, pmplayer. Thanks, Bernd...! Yes, true...🙂...Not glittering Red but will do... Thanks, Sherm. Sorry...missed your query .... It's MSFS2020 on Xbox...I've noted it in the Tags (at top) since I wish folks to know I'm not on PC. As you know there are some limitations on Xbox, but I'm happy for now. It has been so-far working well with an add-on Controller (plus a Keyboard), on top of the Xbox Controller that I only use for screen captures...So, you use P3D... that has been always a nice SIM for all kinds of airliners...I was on FS9/FSX/SE for about 20 years before this...Cheers...!
  20. Always great to see the DC-3 here...Lovely set of images, Todd. Liked the nose paint on this British Midland livery...
  21. Seems like a really beautiful place by-the-sea...must be to your liking...especially with upbringing in Southend-on-Sea...🙂...OK, that was not "Sea" but a "River"... Loved that little Lighthouse...I think it is one...
  22. Wonderful set of images, pmplayer....! Thought you were ready to hit the "TOGA" button for takeoff...🙂...
  23. Each of your pictures is packed with details, Andy...quite an impressive tour of these places...! [BTW, I was curious to note the red "Westfield" sign on the Tower Eye...the reason is there was a local mall called "Westfield" with the same (red) logo, but the sign disappeared during the Covid...but has since re-appeared when I visited the mall recently... Must be the same Westfield Shopping Center chain ...]
  24. The add-on brings to life the whole township and peripheral areas around the airport in such amazing details... The Heli is a nice way to look around this scenery...
