  1. Same here. Got rid of MyTraffic6 (which is still great nonetheless but the models are meh..) and set up AIG AI Manager to download and install all the models, repaints and schedules etc. Quick, easy and the best it's for FREE!
  2. Disregard. Thank you @ark! I will stick with KV2. Great app by the way 🙂
  3. Reviving this thread since I'm still on the lookout for an app that does what PDFkneeboard did prior to v4. I know there are alternatives but none of them are as practical and they can't be added as an addon in P3D..
  4. Late to the party but I am also very interested in your idea richardz, it's looking good! Any news or updates?
  5. Great, thanks! Heather, here I come...
  6. Unfortunately VoxATC v7.42 does not take care of the problem.
  7. Jay, I didn't know there's a new version out. If I have some spare time left today I will sure give it a try in hope not to have to mess around with the airport files, otherwise I will just live with it as long as there's only 1 airport that's affected. Those freeware apps you listed however are pretty interesting and I know I've used addon manager before but did not find any duplicates with it. Many thanks!
  8. You are right, better ask for support directly from the dev. Although their support does not seem to be somewhat responsive I will try to contact them. Thanks!
  9. Vox does have an indexing option to update all the changes made to schedules/scenery. I always run the indexer even after making the smallest changes. The airport in question is the only one I have installed, checked that multiple times, no duplicates. Still, with Vox enabled the AI does not act like it should. I also found aircraft taxiing through grass which clearly indicates that it's relying on the default AFCAD. It seems to me I read somewhere in the VOXATC forums that things like this might happen if the addon airport does not completely replace the default one? Anyway there must be something with this scenery the default ATC tolerates which VOX does not.
  10. Seems like VoxATC has been the issue the whole time. When I disable it and use the default P3D ATC the landings are fine. Now I don't know why Vox assumes the default AFCAD of the airport and how it can have such an effect on the AI..
  11. Don't have vector. I may try to install the airport through the addon.xml method and see what it does. Can't do anything wrong I guess..
  12. No luck until now. It's been 1 hour so far and they are still landing short of RWY06 (RWY24 seems fine, touchdowns are on spot). What I also noticed is that the AI is always off centerline during takeoff/landing.
  13. Read about this but thought it was only an FS9 issue. I will load up the sim and wait for a while to see if things settle up.
  14. That is the exact same scenario I was observing. What version of ELLX do you have? Mine is 1.3 and applied the fixes for P3Dv4 from SimMarket but it did not change anything. Also where did you position the scenery in the library? Thanks!
  15. Ah forgot to mention, sorry. It is ELLX from Justsim. Haven't found anything yet about this particular issue on google but they claim their addon to be 'Fully AI traffic compatible with accurat AFCAD file' .
  16. I may have been a little too fast with this statement. In fact every airline does that, just reactivated MT6 and even then the AI lands in front of the runway on the grass. Seems to really be an issue with the airport itself. I remember reinstalling the scenery but that did not resolve the problem.
  17. Just tested with a model from FSX AI Bureau instead of FLAi, same behaviour despite different FDE. Switched the flightplan from AIG with one from UTT, no difference. Don't know what else to test. I just don't want to go back to MyTraffic6, those models are horrible and heavy on performance at the same time..
  18. Hi Simbol, do you mean the scenery library? All addon airports are pretty much at the top. I don't have vector, only FTX global. Until now I've only seen a single airline do this but with every aircraft. I need to compile a few more FPs to see if it is an FDE issue.
  19. So I stumbled across the freeware AI model project called "FLAi". I chose the xml addon method to add the AI models to the sim and used AIFP3 to link the new models to some AIG flightplans. In the sim (P3D v4.3) traffic shows up but still seems to use the default airport AFCAD instead of the one from my payware addon. Noticed this once I saw the AI touch down 100 ft before the runway threshold as the addon airports elevation is a bit higher than the default one. In AIFP3 the option to use addon airport data is checked and I let the app collect all my addon airports I have installed. When selecting "find scenery files for selected airport" in AIFP3 it clearly shows the addon airports AFCAD with the stock one beneath. There are also no duplicate .bgl entries. What could be the problem here?
  20. Could you tell me which freeware AI models you use and from where you get the flightplans? I recently uninstalled MyTraffic6 because I found it too harsh on performance and now installed some models from FLAi (flightplans are from unitedtrafficteam.com). With AIFP3 I associated the FLAi models to the downloaded FPs and compiled the BGLs, AI shows up but somehow acts strange. They do not seem to follow payware airport taxiways and they always land short in front of the runway or sometimes approach at like 0 ft AGL. Checked for duplicate AFCADs but there are none. Only tested at a single airport (using VOXATC) for now but this really bugs me.
  21. Yes they work properly in other aircraft, just verified this again in the Dash 8. The NGX is also set up correctly according to the introduction manual. EDIT: Found the problem! It was Ezdok v2 nonetheless, or more precisely, the setting as described in this video: Disabling the addon strangely does not help but gladly this did the trick, rudder and elevator working again.
  22. It was around the same value, 5.22 if I remember correctly. I always set the trim within +- 0.05 of what the FMC suggests.
