Hi, I saw where a chap had asked if he already had  thr GTN 750 if he could get the 650 at a discount. He was told no. I am thinking of getting the 750 for Xplane 11. I had bought the 750 for FSX but dont fly it anymore. I was wondering in this circumstance would it be possible to get a discount. Regards

Hi all, just wondered if anyone else may have come across this issue. This only started after I installed the RealAir Beech 60's. Sometimes, after awhile, I would go to a click spot to change something and the mouse pointer would not change to the hand so nothing could be changed. I emailed RealAir and was told to reset the flight. This seemed to work. So I thought this was only related to the Beeches. I have now got the A2A C172 and I have had a few flights in it. Great plane. I was flying it today and I left it alone for about 20 minutes while I did something else. When I returned to it I found that the mouse would not change anything I tried to click on. I did find however that by pausing and resuming seemed to fix the problem so I could drop out of autopilot and land. Would be good to know whats causing it so maybe I could fix it.. Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers.

Hi All, Just wondering if anyone has had this issue. NZTG - Tauranga Airport is supposed to have a VOR @ 113.20 but it does not work. I also tried it on another fsx computer and that did not work either.

Hi Guys. Having trouble trying to install my Rxp 530 into my B55. I have tried using some suggestions I have found on the Mil Viz site but am a bit lost. I have installed it into 2 of my Carenado planes.

I am not sure if my RXP.ini file is right. If anyone has had some luck with this could you please post your Panel file and your .ini file as well.

Hi All and a Happy New Year. First post for 2013.

Yesterday I tried a flight from Redcliffe ( YRED ), Queensland down to YMLT in Tasmania. When I tried to program in YRED the FMC came back saying Not in Database . So is the Database set up for only airports that the 737 can be flown from. When I Googled Redcliff and had a look at one of the websites (Flightstats I believe) about Redcliffe, it looked like big jets flew from there. I think that must be a generic picture for the website. Looking further I found you can only run aircraft up to 5700kg so that

counts out the 737. I have probably answered my own question. Only applicable airports are in the Database. True or False.

Hi thanks for the help. I used the Reality XP installer. There was no GNS.ini file in there. ( I think I may have tried the Reality installer first befoer the Carenado). I put in your .ini file and it worked. Bert I see you made reference to the GTX327 in the .ini file. That I think comes with the 530 installation but it does not show up in my VC. Can it be put in or is it the only guage that can be replaced is the GNS530.

I also bought the Flightline T and N gauges, before I found out they could not be used with the Skymaster. Never mind. I also have the Carenado Piper Senaca and have managed to replace most gauges except for the ADF gauge which is on the far left below the clock. The odd thing is that when I click on it to bring up the pop-up then I get the Reality gauge. Just not sure what needs to be changed,I emailed Carenado and got a reply but was not very helpfull. The instructions that come with the gauges doesn't seem to cover every aircraft that one may have.

I bought the Reality XP 530 and installed it into my Carenado 337. The GPS does not seem to work on it. I think the VLOC does but no GPS. I have checked through the Forums but nothing specific to this issue. Running FSX on Win7 64 bit.

I have setup a Direct to leg, the Magenta line is shown and gps shown when CDI is activated. Just fails to follow it and tends to stray away from line. Once I thought I had it right by activating the GPS when I intercepted the line, it swang back but continued on and went off course. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advanced. Brett.

Note, I noticed the 530 there is a button down the botton says GPS working in Flight Sim mode, then

you can toggle it to say GPS working Reality Xp mode or something to this effect. Not sure whats thats about.

Hi I reckon behind the scenes PMDG are working on an fully animated co-pilot that reacts to all your commands. I also think that they are going to make him in the spitting image of, now this will show my age, Phones from Stingray. All there is left to say is, Stand by for Action.

I offend wondered why when I taxied out from the gate that it did not seem to take much throttle to get the 737 to move but when on the runway( now I turn on Auto brake) I would advance upto 40%, hardly move then once I had advanced to say 50% plus she would start to move. I discovered that setting the Autobrake to RTO puts the brakes into action. According to my 737 Checklist Autobrakes the be set to RTO during the Preflight Proceedure. So is the Autobrake supposed to apply brake when engaged on the ground? If there is something I'm not doing or should be doing please let me know.

As you can I'm not one to always follow a checklist. I must work on this

Hi Guys. I have had Orbx NZSI installed since it came out and have NZNI a few weeks. All of a sudden

I have noticed that Wanaka and my home town NZNP is having extra buildings put in around the airport

and surrounding area. I tried doing a system restore, thinking I may have put something on that conflicked, but still the same. I did a flight from Wanaka to NP and as I was climbing out I was getting default autogen textures on hills that should not be there. Any help would be mush appriciated.

Oovee Game Studios and our sound pack for the Cessna 337H Skymaster

Hi I have bought and installed your Sound Package for the C337.

It is a great sound, but I have an issue with mine that I submitted a request for but I have had no reply to ask any questions to help sort out my issue.

What I have sometimes when I start the front engine, instead of getting that nice starting sound, I also get another engine sound with it aswell. It installed where it was supposed to go, Skymaster/sound folder, Are you supposed to install it over the top of the original sound folder or

have the new sound folder all on its own. I think the only way it does not happen is if I take the default Cessna 172, turn everything to cold and Dark, then go back into the Skymaster. Any ideas would be much appreciated. Regards Brett Nicholls

Hi Guys, I have NGX 737 with latest SP1c. If I turn the battery on I get minimal sound, but if I step through the views and come back to the cockpit I get quite a loud sound as if something has turned on or an external appliance has been connected. Its like everything has fired up but should not have.Could someone please advise. Regards Brett Nicholls

Hi I replaced my config with Bojotes tweaks. I went on to the website, put the info that it asked for, downloaded then pasted it into FSX. Can you give me some direction on what to check if that was not something I should have done. Regards Brett

Hi PMDG. After reinstalling Win 7 then FSX then the NGX I have issues CTD, bad exits and while flying

the GOL, the panels behind the seats became transparent. Also I lost the ability to right mouse click to give menu items. Install the base package, rebooted, then installed SP1c. Same for both versions. FSX is in on a seperate drive and have FSX as own user. I had this setup in the past. I'm just not sure if I have missed something. Any suggestions would greatly be appriciated.

Hi, I'm not sure if I should be posting this here but because I believe its one of the most reviewed, I thought I would I would have better luck.

I have had a little trouble on a reinstall FSX and NGX after a reinstall of Windows 7.

I know I have read where it is best to install FSX on a seperate drive wich I have done. But my question now is, is it best to run it from the main User Account associated with C, or, what I have done in the past,

install and run it from another Administrator Account.

An issue I had was when I installed REX 2 where I had trouble finding the FSX config file because at the time it seemed you had to un-hide the folder files so I could find the User accounts from

my FSX User.

If I have to reinstall everything again I will but it would be good to know how some of you have done your installs. Thankyou in advance.

Hi I'm no expert but you can run FSX on a seperate drive but your aircraft have to go into the FSX directory. From what I believe, and I have done this myself, FSX should be put on another drive or partition. And set it up as another user.

Hi Guys, need help.

I scanned my drives because I was having issue with an intermittant starting problem with my computer.

Anyway so everything is ok so I start fsx. All but when I choose any of the 737 anbout 1-2 seconds later my computer locks up, no mouse movement, no response so I have to reset computer.

Other planes are ok to fly in FSX.

I have uninstalled NGX, deleted all folders in FSX and Sim Objects then reinstalled. Stil the same.

I have not done anything with the FSX config file, maybe I need to. I also tried a system restore to a few days ago but that did not fix. Please any help would be much appreciated. Brett Nicholls

Hi I would make sure everything uninstalled. Reinstall Base Packs for both then reinstall service pack SP1c for 800-900, 600-700 followed by any add-on liveries. Cheers Brett

Hi when you set these up put a cd case under each pedal. Make sure FS is not running, go into control panel or Devices, re runsetup again and see how that goes. Keeping the pedals from resting on the bottom when re aligning is the trick.

It may take awhile to catch on. I see some good stuff in here but still some things need to be fixed. Eg: The Stearman sitting on the runway, engine turned off and still the prop spins. Toe brakes, no Track IR etc. All I can see is this will cost an extreme amount of money if you want more planes and more countries. $20 for Hawawii, how much for the rest of the States. I dont think that people who don't enjoy flying are going to take this up just because its more slighted towards a game than a straight sim. I hope Microsoft prove me wrong I can see how much work has one into producing this package.My flightsim buget only stretches so far and there are still things I want to get for FSX.

I installed SP1c but I found my aircraft went invisable on external views. I uninstalled NGX and reinstalled plus Add-on liveries. I'm sure I had to do this with SP1b as well. I didn't mind, i think clean installs create less hassels sometimes. All seems good now

I have mentioned this before but now there is a picture that shows what I'm talking about.I thought that it may have got picked up and fixed in SP1c.On page 86 of the PMDG Tutorial 2 you can see the Heading Director cut off by the MCP near the bottom of the HGS. This is beacause the landing lights are on. As soon as you turn the lights off therest of the circle returns. Although this is a very cleaver piece of apperatus that PMDG have done for the NGX it lets it down a bit. Maybe I'm being picky but knowing how much effort PMDG have put intothis aircraft I'm sure they would want to get it right.
