  1. Thanks for the rapid response Bert, PM is sent and I will follow up as soon as I can give it a try. Your support has really been fantastic so often. Your work is a major part of my simulator experiences. Jesse
  2. Hi Folks, Just recently reinstalled the PC12 in P3Dv4.5 HF3 with dual RXP GNS 530 v2's. In GPS mode the CDI is not deflecting when right of course. Left of course it responds as expected. The VOR indicator responds correctly whether right or left of course. Have been fussing with settings and searching past posts a couple of days and coming up empty for a solution. Anyone have any ideas? Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks, Jesse
  3. Is your environmental sound slider turned up? Jesse
  4. schweito Read through these instructions very carefully following each step. https://carenado.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360046625614-Installing-Carenado-aircraft-in-P3Dv5 Be sure you are using the P3D version 4 installer and selecting P3D version 4, then browsing to P3Dv5. Don't skip the second step to select the v4 option Jesse
  5. Bob, Initial results seem very promising. I think at about -30 MHz is where I'm getting the best stability but will continue experimenting. My early efforts were somewhat hit and miss as I was slow to understand the Precision X1 app. Still don't have it down very well, still have much to absorb. At any rate, your help is greatly appreciated. I was about to throw in the towel. I hope our discussion has also been of benefit to Thomas, the OP as well. Thanks again for your patient help. Jesse
  6. I assume we're talking about the core clock rather than the memory clock? I'm guessing this will become more obvious once I get into it, but your guidance is appreciated. This is a bit outside my comfort zone. Jesse
  7. Thanks for the suggestions. I'll look into it. Hadn't had much trouble with this till moving to 5.1 HF1. Then started having consistent crashes at or in the vicinity of certain airports even with a completely in clean install of the default. Moving back to original 5.1 then started producing the same errors. Have spent hours looking for a cause and seem to be coming up dry. So this may have some real merit in my situation. Thanks Again, Jesse
  8. Hey Bob, How do you do that. I'm having a terrible time with this error. Thanks, Jesse
  9. Maybe this will help? https://forums.hifisimtech.com/threads/read-this-latest-windows-update-issue.13309/ Jesse
  10. Mike, As far as the "popping" into shape, you may want to try raising the tessellation slider some. Just be careful because it can also have a performance penalty. Hope that helps, Jesse
  11. Hi Folks Anyone heard anything about this developer's status? Their last Facebook post seemed very positive about their new P3Dv5 airports. But that was back in April and I haven't seen anything since. Hope they are still in the game. Really liked their Blue Ridge Series in v4. Jesse
  12. c'est la vie Thanks for looking into it Greg. Sometimes the magic works and sometimes it don't. 🙂 Jesse
  13. I can't speak to all of the fixes, but the ones I have tried weren't a complete solution. While they corrected some things they created other problems. For instance after the fix, KBTV was missing the main terminal although the jetways remained. I suppose because a blanket exclusion doesn't account for default objects that are intended to remain a part of the scenery; but again I don't know for sure, yet. For now I am waiting until after the next P3D update to see what LM does with their default airports and then I suppose I may start making my own corrections. Jesse
  14. Try this Mike. Worked for me anyway. Right click your shortcut icon. Go to Properties / Shortcut tab/ change icon. Browse to C:Program files/HiFi\ASP3D. Select As.ico then hit Open, Ok, Apply, OK. Hope that helps, Jesse
  15. I searched "stutter" by author (SteveW) and got 107 results. Hope that helps. Jesse
  16. YES. Thanks to Lockheed-Martin for implementing this feature in V5. And a very special thanks to Mr. Binder (@Lorby_Si) for the concept and development. Makes a huge difference to night flying. Jesse
  17. The Aztec and Navajo, as well as the 310R, the 421C and the Cheyenne are all working fine in my p3dv5. Be sure you are following the installation instructions on the Carenado site very closely. You must select P3D, then P3Dv4 before navigating to your P3Dv5 location. https://carenado.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360046625614-Installing-Carenado-aircraft-in-P3Dv5 Hope this helps, Jesse
  18. I also fly the Alabeo 310R a great deal. Very good simulation. More to the point; Outer knob scroll to tune 100's, left click outer knob to swap to ten's and then scroll to tune. Inner knob scroll to tune 1's, left click inner knob to swap to tenths and then scroll to tune. Working that way in P3Dv5 and pretty sure that is the way it was working in P3Dv4. It's just a little particular that you get right on the click spots to swap. Hope that helps.. Jesse
  19. Take a look through this discussion. You may find some help there, toward the last of the thread. https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/574186-carenado-p3dv5-patch-is-out/ Hope this helps, Jesse
  20. Not really sure what my issue is in that case. I submitted a ticket at Simmarket and got this response: "Once vendor will upload a P3Dv5 installers to us we will let you know by mail." I noticed the product page still only shows compatibility up to P3Dv4.
  21. Great News, Shaun. However I don't see the version 5 installer in my downloads at Simmarket. Should I contact them or are the files just not uploaded yet? Jesse
  22. Aha! Sure enough, right there they are. I just didn't see any distinction of which ones are freeware in Central. It only shows up as freeware or Payware in Central once you open each particular scenery. Doesn't take much to confuse me some days.😉 Thanks again, Jesse
