  1. Hey All, Just wondering where is the appropriate place to put community events? I can't find the calendar anymore and I don't see an event forum. Is the correct place in Hangar Chat or....? Thanks!

  3. You touch almost any button or switch. The alarm is the master warning alarm.
  4. It's described in the FCOM as a "Brief Time" so I would assume it's only a few minutes. Maybe 10? Not sure exactly on the number.
  5. No doubt! Maybe worth a "Never Before" post from one of the Devs on what they've done with her. Maybe there are too many to list!
  6. That was one of my guesses, I just haven't seen where PMDG have actually said what they were talking about.
  7. Hey All, I remember reading a post many moons ago that there was something revolutionary put into the 777 that has never been done before in Flight Simulator. Either I've missed where it was said what this thing was or it hasn't been said. I'm fairly interested in what it might be to be honest. Or will it be a Pogo Stick type thing? Thanks!
  8. My last go around was at Dayton (KDAY) during their event last week. I was first brought in too close while being too high. I get the sense I was forgotten at 8,000 feet because the controller was getting bogged down by traffic. After he realized this, the controller expected me to be able to slow down and descend at the same time, which us 737-800 drivers know isn't all that possible. I ended up being at 190kts @ 1,500ft, far from being in configuration, and I elected to go missed. Second try around was perfect! The controller vectored me back around for a picture-perfect localizer intercept.
  9. What does a controller need to allow? Permission isn't required to go over 250kts in a heavy aircraft because you need to be over it for safe speed with clean configuration.
  10. Must have been the last to the coffee pot during the break and got it cold
  11. Really? That surprises me. Actually, I could think of one or two people that may have done that. I'm staff over there and know a few of the slightly less informed haha.
  12. That always cracks me up lol! Or sometimes even VATSIM controllers that yell at you when you break 250 under 10K departing on an 8 hour flight in the MD-11. Like really? Haha Also agree- it's a nice idea. It'll be a good bit of work though!
  13. FDX8's flight from KMEM to OMDB. (Same flight we have planned for a very large community event.... shhhh  )
  14. Exactly what I'm seeing here too. I've seen anywhere from 15-30 seconds for their server to actually react. So it's not just you over there, it's happening to me too here in Ohio. EDIT: This post took 20 seconds to actually submit lol
  15. I'm also experiencing some slowdown here as well. Time to load this thread was 15 seconds. Not a huge deal but I'm not getting stuff this slow anywhere else.
  16. I know I'm opening an ancient thread, but I just had this exact same thing happen. Departed KLAS just a bit ago and was climbing to cruise. Got a master caution light and looked up to see the left bleed tripped off. I tried the reset button and followed the QRH as published. No luck. Currently flying on bleed 2 only. I'd read about if it was an over-pressure, you could switch on the EAI and then back off to relieve the pressure, but that also didn't work, so I'm assuming it was an overheat or something else completely. I do have service based failures on and always use the short run panel state. Super excited to have my first failure
  17. I still don't understand why we're talking about takeoff clearances if the OP said in the first sentence that he overheard that on Detroit Clearance frequency...
  18. I love it. Had around 10 guys drooling over it tonight on our VA's voice server. I'm pretty sure you'll get at least around 300 of our pilot's money, maybe more!!! HAHA! Pretty much my entire VA can't wait. Then there's the 200 you never hear from.... lol
