Thanks for the replies - I downloaded what PMDG's link sent when I bought the 747-400 the other night. All I got when it unzipped was the installation file and a read me file with the EULA etc in it. I did not get any iintroduction manual or any kind of documentation. I try to download the manuals and such but the site appears to be off line for the last two days. Does anyone (PMDG Customer support) have any idea how long it will be before I can get the manuals?It has been about 3 years since I quit flying the sims. I remember getting a lot better customer support from PMDG then. Has something changed or did I pick the worst time ( Server Maintenance) to show back up?Thank you,Lloyd

Hello - I have FS9 and FS10 installed on my machine. I inadvertantly purchased the 747-400 for FS9 when I meant to buy the FSX version. I am currently waiting for a response and hopefully PMDG will take the FS9 back and let me buy the FSX version. I installed the FS9 744 and I cannot get the alt set, speed set, heading set, VS set to work except for down. I have the 737NG and the Beech 1900C. and neither of these have any problems. Am I doing something wrong? Does the 744 work differently? I have been trying to download the documentation but none of the downloads work either. I get a 401 error and it complains about address errors. The FS9 and FSX installs are fresh installs on a freshly reformatted drive. I have removed and reinstalled twice, redowloaded the 744 all with the same result. This is only a problem on the 747. It has been a frustrating re-entry into the Sim world. Please help if you have any ideas.ThanksLloyd
