  1. Hello there!

As a student of PhD in french literature , it is not so convenient for me to write with errors, but it seems there is not another option!

i wish i could write in french!

    by the way,

    thanks for your kindly comments,...

honestly, all the credits goes for Tony as a creator of World2xplane and there is another guy who created a software called Ortho im not sure about his name.i really appreciate their efforts, fantastic job !both of them..also appreciate the effort of alpilotx and his good website.

so i just read the manuals ,reading reading & reading! the manuals,to know  the structure the ruelsthe base,to find out how it works, all the forums and so on...by the way i will give instruction for anyone who are intereste.

also i've created a specific section in my website dedicated screenshots and updated them regulary..

    here

I worked for 15 years with FSX ,created many learning video & reviews so far...and also X-plane recently !

here my videos FSX & X-plane:

    Here

I would write a list with  advantage and disadvantages for each of them in comparison!

    Regards!

  2. Hello

for europ i need these series :

    ff_library

    Europe_Library

    OpenSceneryX

    R2_Library

    world-models

    w2xp_Europe

right? but what set of libraries

    i will need for asia?

i 've made a custom latest for osm data specially for my region..also created related tile as photoscenery,

    what about the others?

    thank you

  4. Je parle un peu Français, mais ce n'est pas ma langue maternelle.

It is just a region I like a lot.

Anyway, the picture looks about right to me.

The trees in the middle of the road are caused by bad OSM data, and can be seen everywhere.

w2xp uses existing data, so if the input is bad, the output will be bad also.

I think Tony was working to have those trees excluded automatically, but I don't know if it is available in a version of w2xp for the public yet ?

Yes, it is important to have the w2xp_xxx_net sitting between the w2xp_xxx OR w2xp_xxx_OSM, and the photosceneries.

Both will activate the buildings, while the w2xp_xxx_net will only have road and network info.

You should not have w2xp_xxx and w2xp_xxx_OSM active at the same time.

I have created several tiles with w2xp myself, but in the end I find it easier to just use Simheavens sceneries.

    allright,thank you

  5. yes t

Are you still creating tiles with Ortho4XP ? You should see water and rivers then.
The roads (w2xp_Europe_net) go between the photoscenery and  w2xp_Europe.

    custom airports

    Libraries

    w2xp buildings

    w2xp roads

    photoscenery

    example from my scenery.ini :

    ...

    SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/LFMT Montpellier_V_10.22/

    SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/world-models/

    SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/ff_library_extended_LOD/

    SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/w2xp_Europe/
    SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/w2xp_Europe_net/
    SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/zOrtho4XP_+43+001/
    SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/zOrtho4XP_+43+002/
    ...

thanks ,yes i use that for creating tile,

    also we can use

    w2xp_Europe_osm

    w2xp_Europe_net

    like that,right?

Est-ce que vous êtes français?car je vois LFMT dans votre liste?

also do you have any idea about that kind of problem?

  6. A single engine airplane with a prop rotating to the right, as viewed from the cockpit, should pull to the left on the takeoff roll & initial climb out.  As airspeed increases, the effect should diminish. With my X-Plane installation, the default 172 drifts to the left as well. It should be countered with right rudder. You can look up the specifics. Spiral airflow from the prop hitting the left side of the vertical stab/rudder, torque, & P-factor. Torque will tend to push down on the left wheel, which drags the airplane to the left.  A plane such as a Cessna 172 has a fixed trim tab, that gives it a little right rudder. Without the tab, the plane will constantly want to yaw to the left in flight. Without the tab, your leg would get tired holding the right rudder. The tabs are usually set for straight flight at cruising speeds.

Some aircraft have built in offset vertical stabs, to control left yaw. Others may have in cockpit adjustable trim tabs, or spring arrangements to hold pressure on the rudder cables.

    thanks

  7. great

    Hi guys!

Those numbers made me dizzy too, so I have implemented new feature into VfrFlight (http://vfrflight.org).

If you select 'Map Grid Layer' (1), and check 'Info under cursor' (2), you would get the name of HGT file that you need to use, and name of ZIP archive with that file that needs to be downloaded (from http://www.viewfinderpanoramas.org/Coverage%20map%20viewfinderpanoramas_org3.htm).

Just point cursor at any place to read info.

    Enjoy :)

    Great thanks

  8. Which plane? The HD textures can take a big toll on FPS, however 30 seems quite high

In my opinion HD textures of the aircraft (exterior)  have not such a huge impact on the FPS as generally supposed.

Farid is talking about low FPS  IN the VC and high FPS seeing the aircraft from outside.

For years I am experimenting with textures and their impact on the FPS.

HD textures for the exterior of the plane have not really a big impact on the FPS.

Lots of avionics AND HD texturising of the VC can be killing indeed.

The power of the PC , its configuration and its video-sytem and many other things can give very different results even when testing the same aircraft.

No need to say there will be a huge difference in results when flying under different conditions.

Complexity of scenery, different weather conditions , its all part of the game.

Farid is talking of different results  with the same aircraft.

Was it on the same airport, with the same weather, the same season/time of the day?

    Hi

its already fixed,i have 50 fps inside same cockpit again!

that was related to the lock to frame rate inside XPN ,since my last tweak between the option mentioned and vertical sync at Geforce control panel untile achieve best result ,

thanks for your reply as always

  9. Which addon aircraft are you referring to?  I've found some of them to be very sensitive as you apply power, and require a great deal of finesse on the rudder pedals.  The effect does seem overly exaggerated on some models.

almost all of carenados also Alabeo Alabeo PA32_Saratoga_II_TC
