Thank you. I'm using 144Hz refresh rate as anything below it makes me feel uncomfortable, so does it affect P3D performance? Thank you, I'm using 2k resolution. Locking the frames to 30 make my simulator very laggy, I dont know why Thank you, will report later about the result I'm using 2k monitor and yes, after this topic I can see that my GPU is not that strong anymore. I will try to lower the settings because with other big airports the system can handle FPS around 25-30 above easily with PMDG/FSLabs

Hi, Overall my V5 performing flawlessly, no CTD no out of VRAM error so far. However, the performance over major airports is not flyable to me, with default aircraft I get around 20FPS and frequently dropping to around 15, cannot have a smooth view. Here are some pictures of my settings in P3D. Hopefully someone can help and explain which one impacts heavily the performance as I have done some searching over google and so far not so much information. Computer system i7 10700F, 16GB RAM, GTX 1080 8GB VRAM. 2k resolution 144Hz System Win10 64bit, P3D V5, UK2000 EGLL and Imaginesim KATL, traffic from AIG. ASP3D, ASCA , Envtex, Envshade Thank you.

You can read over at the forum, the sound and blade animations are updated but the they are still working on the pitch.

FYI PMDG released an update for all the 777 variants via Ops Center. Will test it later today Cheers

Agree. I did a short flight today, and had to use the speedbrake because it kept gliding, PMDG already stated that it is closer to the real ones than before. Navigraph during login IIRC it shows 747-8i which IIRC other PMDGs aircraft are the same, I don't know if it's a bug or not but it does not affect anything. For the nosewheel, I remembered a member over PMDG forum can keep the nose up high until ground speed 29kt taxi speed, that was interesting! I tested the 300ER one not 200ER, manual flying is rather difficult as it is too sensitive and the FBW clearly something not right, if PMDG upgraded the logic between engine thrust <--> pitch then they did it too much, whenever there is a change in thrust the pitch behavior is enormous

Hi, I'm using V5. Well there are many repaints for 200LR and 300ER (probably because it has been released for previous version), but 200ER, so few.

Performance overall good with my computer, comparing to 737 747 and FSL. However, with 3 engine variants and bunch of time working, I wonder why there are so few paints come with it. I was surprised by that.

Having the same question, I'd probably ask the forum now since I can't wait for this. Yup, I can agree with you on this. Imagine you bought something years ago and from an old platform. Now you fly the newest platform of P3D and receive these updates FREE. Doing something free are hard, very hard and brave, because people don't respect your work! V1 don't, the new V2 will work with new 777. Well, not every 777 in the world has a new cockpit. You will be amazed when going to the real cockpit of the aircraft that have been operating for years, you'd wish it to match the sim level of "fresh"! Anyway, they already mentioned in their forum the cockpit will be upgraded later this year. I don't know the time and efforts they put into this update but I believed it's not that small, and they do it for free. So please, respect that. Or if you and others want top quality updates, I think they would love to, I mean really really love to spend more time, more beta tests and charge for this update. Now, long story short, I bought the 777-200ER package. And the truth is, it need more update, I don't like it much, not yet. Cheers, Hoang Le

I had the old version but haven't installed it since new computer upgrade, now I just install the latest version. Pretty bad luck no way I can have the manuals.

You have to download it all again from PMDG website or wherever you bought it, uninstall everything relates to the older version before installing the new one. My computer doesn't have the old version since I went straight to V5. Activation is good, straight foward, however keep getting CTD due to KERNELBASE.dll. Anyone has this problem? Trying to solve it as much as I could before sending a support ticket. Cheers,

For a system guy like me, captain sim products are always overprice. So used to the level of FSL and PMDG.

Not only cargo guys, I have been looking for a good quality KIND since Fs9 era. I have a lot of memories with it during my childhood with ATA airlines, especially the old terminal. Well, for years they been like that. Hasn't changed much. Their product is top of the line, but their support is opposite.

Looking forward to the answer from FSL. I have found some other bugs/errors too however they seem to ignore my post over their forum.

Hello, I just tried GA with FSL A320, MCDU showed GO AROUND page, FMA showed GA TRK and GA altitude, TOGA thrust. Manual fly is ok, after engage AP the FD went immediately nose dive which I had to disconnect AP. Tried twice and same thing happen. Hmmm, will try another test again now. As long as I do not engage the AP, the FD behavior is normal. Right after engaging AP (1 or 2) the FD went down, literally pitch all the way down. Hoang Le UPDATED: it happens only if I GA during manual flying. Keep AP and GA works normally.

I'm using v1.3 with P3D V5 and everything is normal, try follow the instruction from Flytampa forum which Peter posted above and see. Cheers
