I was just being cheeky because I don't get Fox News in my part of the world and no one talks about her here.
Do you have a room for rent?
*Debates whether to move there or just send her to him...*

Another good one Chase. I'm with a few other guys and just use the built in screenshot key in FSX.

Great shots, keep them comin.

Someone posted a link to it on Facebook to another location. I am not sure if that link is still there, however, I did get a chance to watch and it was just a basic short video showing the external view and then looking around the VC. Looks very impressive, not quite sure what people are expecting but from a first look perspective it was perfectly fine.
+1. Link is still active, just watched the video again. Looking forward to the release, not exactly sure what all the negative comments were about that got the video pulled to begin with.

Ha!
Probably someone who doesn't like to be treated like garbage!
Yawn... The blanket generalizations that you choose to make on a vast amount of people you don't know only make you look bad, not those people.
Southwest isn't first class by any stretch as far as amenities are concerned on their AC or anything like that, but I've yet to have anything but first class service from their employees.
For instance, three weeks ago, I had to fly home to KSAN from where I currently live (KSMF) for a department interview and return the same day. Interview went well and got over earlier than I expected so I met up with and old friend and had lunch. I got to the airport about 4 hours early (being from SD and raised there for 25 years I've seen it all and done it all) and walked up to the gate that my iPhone app advised that I'd be leaving from.
I walk up and just want to confirm that what the app states is the correct gate for my departure in a few hours. Lorena who is working the gate (4) checks my ticket and had a quick look of shock when she saw how early I was for my flight, I told her I know that it's weird but I was a local and had nothing else to do and was fine waiting.
She pulls up the flights to Sacramento in the computer and says that there's a flight leaving to Sacramento in 5 minutes from Gate 2... Now at this point, anyone who has ever flown out of SAN knows that it's a small airport and the internal layout of terminal 1 is antiquated to say the least. Gates 1 and 2 are at the very east end of the terminal downstairs and through a different TSA checkpoint than the one I just went through and I told her it's fine and that I wouldn't have time to make it through screening again to make it in time. Lorena says it's no problem and that she'll try to have someone escort me and I figure it'll get me home earlier so what the heck, go for it.
After about 5 phone calls to the other desks looking for Jim to do the escort, she can't get a hold of him and I figure it's a lost cause. A second later, Jim just happens to pop up at the desk as he was running by. Lorena talks to him about doing an escort, and from the looks of him he's already had a heck of a day and is still in the middle of doing a bunch of stuff.
Jim is completely professional and apologizes and just says he can't do it right now as he is indeed in the middle of 5 different issues while the other staff members are on break. No problem, I was ready to wait it out anyway, I thank them and head to sit down. Right before I sit down I hear "Sir, let's go, we're gonna have to move it to make that flight!" Oooooof course, the day that I wear flip flops.
We cruise back downstairs and I figure he's going to take me through the terminal and past the other TSA screening point... Nope, one swipe of his access card and we're now out on the apron dodging baggage trucks as they shoot over to the two other 737's that are boarding and into the side door of the other part of the terminal and into the gate where I managed to catch the flight and get back to KSMF early.
So I've now:
1. Paid less than those people not on the "bus full of bargain hunters."
2. Used the money I saved to take a good friend out to lunch that I haven't seen in a year.
3. Experienced above and beyond fantastic customer service when they didn't have to multiple times and had every excuse not to.
4. Got back 3 hours earlier than I originally planned. (Spent part of it e-mailing SWA customer service to make sure Lorena and Jim get the recognition they deserve).
SWA has won a customer for good, I may not have those extra inches for my knees, but low prices and great crews will keep me happy on that bus as I'd rather use my money to see friends or enjoy life than have to use it to get there.
-
I'll just keep flying SWA here in the states, cheap prices, friendly crews, and bags fly free without any winks needed. At 6'2" I wouldn't mind one more inch of legroom though

Thanks guys!

Hmmmm... Interesting. Not sure I'm sold on it, which is a bummer.

Another big thumbs way up for GSX, and no, I've noticed no impact on fps either.
Where can we get replacement voices?
File Description:
Replacement recorded (human) voice sounds to replace the computer-generated robotic ground crew voice used by the ground handling scripts in FSDreamTeam's GSX add-on. Also includes a replacement for the looping aircraft boarding sounds. Tested with GSX V1.1 -
Descent into PDX.

That's the problem with the media nowadays, it's more important to be first than it is to be correct. Ratings! Raaaaaaatings!

Your screenshots always manage to make me want to take my computer out to the desert and use it for target practice...
Great stuff, keep it up... Or don't so I don't have to put the old thing out of it's misery.

While not as large of an aircraft, this one had a more tragic outcome as all 10 on board are no longer alive. Hopefully the saying about these things coming in threes is wrong in this case.

Alaska Plane Crash Kills All 10 People On Board
By MARK THIESSEN 07/07/13 11:21 PM ET EDT
ANCHORAGE, Alaska — An air taxi crashed Sunday at an Alaska airport, killing all 10 people aboard, a National Transportation Safety Board investigator said.
The accident happened around 11:20 a.m. and sent the fixed-wing aircraft up in flames, said Meagan Peters of Alaska State Troopers. The victims have not yet been identified.
NTSB investigator Clint Johnson said the pilot and nine passengers were killed in the crash at the airport late Sunday morning. Initial reports had the accident happening as the plane took off.
NTSB identified the aircraft in a release Sunday as a de Havilland Otter Air Taxi, which the Aviation Safety Foundation says can seat up to 20 passengers.
The NTSB is sending a team to investigate the crash. NTSB spokesman Eric Weiss said one local member of the team was at the scene Sunday evening.
For many Alaskans, flying across the state is common, exposing residents to a litany of hazards including treacherous mountain passes and volatile weather.
Alaska already has seen several plane crashes this year, including a June 28 crash that killed a pilot and two passengers on a commercial tour in the Alaska Range.
The Soldotna crash comes a day after an Asiana flight crashed at San Francisco's airport.
Soldotna is south of Anchorage on the Kenai Peninsula.

I remember we had something like that happen in the valley out here in CA some years back down the road from Sacramento. Took a while to jog my memory and turn up an article, but it turned out to be the FBI.

What Happened to Microsoft?

Microsoft has no vision or focus at this point. Windows 8 received ghastly reviews while it was in beta and Microsoft seemed unresponsive or uncaring about the whole thing and had the attitude of this is the new OS that will ship with PC's/Tablets/Laptops and the end user will just have to get used to it.
The other thing that annoys me is their commercials where instead of just talking about their products and what they can do for users, they launch their whiney smear campaigns against Google (Scroogled ad's) and Apple (Anti-Siri ads). It reminds me of the election type commercials from candidates where instead of telling us about their values and what they can do for us, they just point out what the other guy did wrong.
