    When I first plugged in my brand new X52, the joysticks lights would flash. That seemed to have fixed itself. Now the joystick won't work. It lights up and turns on but that's about it. I have calibrated it and nothing works. The throttle works fine though. Please help.

    Interesting question.

     

    No, VATSIM currently does not require any pilot training for its members to connect to and use the network. In the future however, a member could be required to undergo pilot training if they demonstrate a repeated lack of ability (or will) to follow ATC instructions or "interfere" with other's enjoyment of the network. My understanding is they would be given the option of completing the P1 rating (ie how to use VATSIM) within some fairly generous period of time or face expulsion from the network.

    I have 2 X52 Pro's and they are nice... Obviously not real life pro feel, as their only plastic, so after cost of shipping, profit margins, exports and manufacturing costs, they are probably a £50 joystick, probably less, but they work ok. Depends on what you want to use it for too...

     

    Long term heavy bashing, probably not a good idea.

     

    I have a bit of a bug with one of mine in that the trigger fails to respond unless pressed many many times, but it sounds like the microswitch is not clicking when squeezing it, but I bought mine second hand, so have no idea what was done to them before I got them.

    omg, they can't do that.

    The packages are not WOAI's work but tons of people who helped creating

     

    they are going to erase other peoples work because they're not playing FS anymore ?? this is ridiculous

    I agree!

     

    We'll need people to download all of the packages and put them up in some website.
