  1. I downloaded the latest version from GITHUB and the ghosting problem seems to be mostly gone. I am not 100% sure i replaced both DLLs the first time, only the FG one, i wonder if both are required...
  2. Investigating. Right now with ULTRA quality at 0.85x and testing, DLAA is too slow. I am a bit like you, a tweaker, so don't find it odd that i'm trying to squeeze the max out of "word not allowed" hardware, i just love it 😛 EDIT: I do get ghosting on fast moving numbers (A320) or when turning in the ND lines. Not too serious but that's the DLSS part that annoys me the most. Again, investigating and using the "F" preset, seems to be the best in my case.
  3. DLSS is still terrible. I am pursuing the smallest / least power consumption build i can find and landed on this 7600X plus a 4060 low profile card and i _NEED_ to use DLSS and FG in order to be in the 90+fps at 2560x1440. When downgrading from my previous 4070, lowering some settings to HIGH and most of them to MEDIUM, there's zero difference from what i had previously (all ULTRA), but the 4060 just can't cope with TAA and i am using DLSS in quality mode. Boy is it worse... I can deal with it because it fits on my new 4.3 litre case and uses 90 watts less power (total in flight power usage is now down to the ~210 watts mark), but it's one thing i miss. Who knows, maybe nVidia's next gen will bring an equally small and low power card but strong enough to get back to TAA. Heh, need to edit my sig...
  4. Wow it's been some time since i've seen this thread. And so much has changed meanwhile. Now a senior software developer (Angular specialist) and a Tech Lead at a major electric company in Portugal. Also in charge of some MVP products.
  5. My favourite is the McDonnell-Douglas MD-11. There's nothing like it.
  6. It's the only "heavy" i use (along with the A300) and unlike most i don't use it for 1h flights. In a week i can put 40 hours on it, not that i have to justify anything. I am actually kind of embarassed to have over 26k hours logged online even though i don't spend all that time in front of the PC. Also, on a sidenote, the A310 has been out for way more than a year.
  7. It never crashed for me, i have well over 3000 hours on it. I mean NEVER.
  8. Yep, some people just can't see it. My wife doesn't see a difference between 30 and 144 (my monitor's max) and i was surprised she couldn't see what was so obvious to me "right there in your face" lol.
  9. VERY noticeable. I can also see if something is running at 60 or much more (say 90 or 120). If three monitors are running the same program at 30, 60 and 90 fps i can see differences between them. Now if you ask me if i can see the difference between 90 and 120... Probably not, that's way way harder for me. The higher the FPS, the bigger jump is required for me to notice anything.
  10. DLSS is a mess. TAA all the way, the higher quality is very noticeable.
  11. Ok ok i have exaggerated a bit on the 787, my bad. But please wait for the MD-11 to come out, i have high hopes it'll be at least very good. Please 😄
  12. Don't jump into conclusions before seeing the final product. Right now everyone is already judging it'll be word not allowed based on how it is now which is not final. Most folks give high praises for that freeware 787 out there and the word not allowed thing flies like a cessna - It's actually ridiculous, but hey it has a nice EFB right?
  13. This is the last thing i look for in a simulated aircraft. Oddly enough, it seems to be how people measure quality nowadays.
  14. Does this one have independent MCDUs? The engines seem to have been properly modeled which is nice.
