OK thanks......I do not have a config-mcpX.lua file , therefore I can only copy and paste the the config-hid.lua file. As a matter of interest what does the config-mcpX.lua file relate too?

Hello I have assigned my contollers switches and buttons to the specific actions for the PMDG 737NGX. I now wish to copy the same assignments over to the PMDG 737NGXu. I have the 737NGXu module in place, how do I replicate the switches and buttons from the 737NGX to the 737NGXu Clive Alexander

Hi Again I may have resolved the situation. Although I had cleared the registry file of LINDA entries I may have been inserting the modules folders into the P3D modules folder incorrectly. What I was doing is deleting the two module folders (LINDA & LINDA-CFG) and then copy and pasting the new module folders into the P3D Module folder. The new method I have used is not to delete the module folders (LINDA & LINDA-CFG) inside P3D module folder but to copy and paste the new module folders over the top of the existing module folder withing P3D. Although my new method has worked I am not sure whether it is the procedure that I was doing incorrectly or I have cleared a problem inside the registry file by deleting entries called LINDA Clive P.S I think the error was that I had adopted the wronf procedure transferring module folders

Hello again I have installed LINDA 3.11.854 all runs OK I have d/loaded module PMDG_737NGX_v4.15a. After I have unzipped the folder and copy & paste folders LINDA & LINDA-CFG into the P3D Modules folder, I receive the following message when I run LINDA "A serious problem has been found VRInsight config creation error Exiting Linda" Please advise Thanks...Clive

Before I had carried out a complete re-install of my system I had saved all my LINDA files to a safe location (ha.ha) On re-install of LINDA using v3.09 I transferred all my saved files over into the new installation ( I have done this before and it worked) However, I was messing about with files so much not aware that v3.09 was the incorrect version and that v3.1 available, I inadvertently deleted the PMDG737NGX folder in which was the file I requred ( config-hid.lua ) I have checked my actions and I have come to the conclusion that I have deleted the wrong folder, therefore I have spent so much time trying to salvage previous work, I have no alternative but to start again and re-map my controllers. Thank you for your assistance, I have learnt from my mistakes (how many time have I heard that) ha.ha P.S. When I downloaded LINDA the only version available was v3.09 there was no link to v3.1. Is this something I have missed or is the LINDA website out of date

I thought I may have restored my original mapping, but no such luck I inserted Config-hid.lua into modules/linda-cfg/aircrafts/pmdg 737NGX The mapping listing remains blank

Hello When loading the Operations Centre V2 I receive an "unhandled Exception" error (Microsoft Net Framework) I have windows updated. When I run the Ops centre update the Ops centre runs but when I retry to run it from my desktop I receive "Unhandled Exception" again I would welcome advice on how I can resolve this error Clive Alexander

I think the word "HOTFIX" should be dropped as many weeks have now passed since the problem was acknowledged and what was expected to be a fast solution has not transpired as it appears that the problem is more serious Reverting to V4.4 is probably the best idea as I do not like using V4.5 on half settings, which if not corrected soon will get people use to using V4.5 with half settings, which will become the norm and pressure from continual messages of dissatisfaction will cease and therefore a fix will be delayed or not corrected until the next major release. Many add-ons have been optimised for V4.5 and users are still waiting to use V4.5 to its full potential, not half settings

Hello As many users continue to wait for the V4.5 fix, would an alternative to be to do a fresh install of P3D and all add-ons or is the solution more involved, therefore, have to wait until the fix is released? Clive Alexander

Hello When setting up a network to use with P3D and ActiveSky if the client computer has lower specifications than the server computer would data transfer and performance be slower than if the software was working on the server (main) computer alone? The server computer is Windows 10 (I7-7700) The client computer is windows 7 (AMD 5200+) As my client computer specs are slow compared to my server computer would there be any advantage in using it for networking or use my server computer to run everything Clive Alexander

Hello I am attempting to install and use Radar Contact. As the previous method of obtaining a registration key by email is no longer supported I am trying to use the Encrypt program to generate the registration code. What text do I have to insert in order for the code to be generated? I have tried to insert my name and use the code that appears but when I insert this code Radar Contact does not run and request the same registration program again. Please advise Clive Alexander
