Yeah I know, I'm just stating what their bot spits out on discord when anyone asks about weather radar. I don't keep an eye on their discord that much so I don't know if they have a more updated stance on it.

Sure the post is old but there are still some valid points in the thread. There could even be an updated one somewhere. There are still valid reasons why several developers still don't have an actual weather radar. Planes such as 787, A300, MD80, Planes that use the G1000/G3000 etc have the default weather radar built in.

There is a WXR radar in the sim that developers can use but it does have missing features/functionality that developers are wanting to see. You can also specifically tell Simbrief to not give you a route through a specific airspace under the "Route Finder" option using the "Avoid Airways/Fixes/SIDs/STARs/FIRs" section.

Managed to get a video of the issue - This was using the default livery with no other Learjet mods installed. Need to further test to see what could be triggering it. As mentioned, it doesn't always happen though which is odd.

There is no news from the forums. People asking questions about what is going on but get no replies. Some staff like Ernie still log onto the forums but that’s about it.

I'm pretty sure it's in the EFB now for the 777 - You can see there is a "Door Management" button at the bottom.

Yeah I may need to try a fresh Community folder with only these specific items and see how long it will work for. In terms of the livery - I've only been using this one: https://flightsim.to/file/66331/n108jn-for-fsw-learjet-35 which was recently updated for the latest LearJet version by the looks of it. The odd thing is though it has worked perfectly using this livery but then on one flight last night the issue occurred.

Has anyone else had it when flying the FSW Learjet and using the TDS GTN that on random flights you can't get the Alt Capture to work? It basically reaches the selected alt but doesn't hold and will then start descending or start climbing? I've noticed when this issue occurs the "Alt Hld" button remains lit and you can't toggle it off. Same if you click on SPD or V/S they remain engaged and no way of turning them off. When the issue doesn't occur - Alt Sel and Alt Hold seem to work as intended. When it reaches the FL it switches to CAP and then ALT HLD stays on. I can turn that off and keep Alt Sel on to go to the new FL etc. I thought I had sussed it out when I reinstalled both the FSW and TDS and it remained working for a number of flights but my last one it occured again. It doesn't always happen which makes it a bit odd. (Using the latest version of Learjet and TDS)

It's actually a great idea to get more users to ask for the API/Whatever is needed for them to be able to make Chaseplane for MSFS to be honest.

I think I seen that RW Profiles may be doing one for the MK Studio's edition. So hopefully that will be out at some point soon.

If MSFS didn't come out it would be interesting to know what PMDG would have released then. But because MSFS did come out, they do kinda need to also bring their current range over to the platform for us to all enjoy.

Looking forward to the 777 getting released - Nice to see some more long haul aircraft coming to the sim.
